"Thane," Isla whispered, her voice filled with dread.
Kai gripped his blade, its light cutting through the oppressive darkness.

They moved cautiously, their footsteps echoing in the silence. As they approached the throne, the whispers intensified, swirling around them like a vortex of fear.
A figure sat upon the throne, their form shrouded in darkness. Only their eyes, glowing with a malevolent red light, were visible.
"You have come," a voice echoed through the chamber, a chilling rasp that sent shivers down their spines. "I have been expecting you."
Thane rose from the throne, his form slowly emerging from the shadows. He was tall and gaunt, his face pale and gaunt, his eyes burning with an ancient hatred.
"You cannot stop me," he hissed, his voice filled with a cruel amusement. "My power is beyond your comprehension."
He gestured towards the chamber, the shadows swirling around him like a living entity. "This world will be mine," he declared, his voice echoing through the chamber. "And you, Isla, will be mine as well."
