IPac's aircraft made its landing in the J-T center, it was parked alongside the aircraft of the Guardians and the Anzerath, with the infantry commissioned subjects emerging from the aircraft.
Guardians and Anzerath arrived earlier, making IPac the last to be present.
Ian Russell was the first to step out of the aircraft, he's the appointed leader of the party, cladded in a grey colored military uniform, with the symbol of the IPac on display fervently on his chest.
His head's covered in a cap displaying the emblem of the US Army.
Behind him were forty nine active commissioned subjects who were deployed as well, they were all dressed in their uniforms, ready to be deployed, amongst them.....only Riley was seen holding a rifle.
Unfazed by the eyes of Marines moving around, they were ushered into the J-T center, the J-T center remains one of the most secret base of the US Marine Corp, while being commanded by a Division commander.
They are known for monitoring most supernatural activties within the country.
Three marines were on standby to usher the commissioned soldiers from the IPac into the J-T center, they were taken into the depths of the ground, shown the underworld of the supernatural organization.
----
" Wow " Riley exclaimed.
He couldn't believe his eyes, everything before him was something he never knew existed, the United States has gotten so advanced with their technologies, remodeling their armories fitting for the supernatural world.
While having thirty percent of their forces being awakened and gifted soldiers.
" Suprised huh? Its understandable you will be suprised....after all IPac is the lowest ranking agency of the government, they're rarely opportuned to receiving important things from the government "
One of the three marines voiced out.
Riley remained silent, not answering nor questioning the marine before him, they walked across the silent hallway, marines came and go, it took them a few minutes until they arrived at their destination.
The three marines halted before a grand metal door, built with solid mana amplified metals capable of withstanding even attacks from the gifted, Riley took his time observing everything from where he stood.
" Soldiers, before we enter the Siena Zone, I should remind you what your duties are, you are here for a simple reason, to aid your fellow soldiers, the Guardians and the Anzerath will be taking the lead "
" The target will be revealed once you walk into this room, are we all clear? " The first marine questioned.
" Yes sir, we are all aware of our role to play, I'm Ian Russell and the leader of this party, and I guarantee you, we are aware of what's in store for us " Ian spoke out.
His words caused the Marine to grin evily as he placed his right hand on the door, his fingerprints were scanned and the door opened up, they followed the marines into the hall.
The commissioned subjects walked into the hall to see soldiers from both the Guardians and Anzerath waiting for them patiently, they were all geared up uniquely, their battle suits were created with unique materials.
Compared to IPac, they were anomalies.
Looks of disdain and disgusts were written on the faces of the Guardians, they stood together, thirty in numbers, all dressed up in red colored battle suits, they were repulsed by the presence of the IPac.
Riley turned his gaze, facing the Anzerath but they had the same understanding, Anzerath and the Guardians are in the top tier list of agencies, they found themselves insulted by being forced to partner with the IPac.
The IPac were the lowest of all agencies.
" Tch, what's up with them.....why are they so pissed of? " Myzel questioned.
" Well it's typically in the human's nature to act like this, they aren't pissed....they are only disgusted by the fact they are teaming up with a much weaker agency " Alpha calmly explained.
Her arms folded, only their husband could hear their voice so they had no reason to keep quiet, they stood behind Riley, Riley observed everyone, scouting for the strong amongst the present awakened.
He noticed a Brunet, standing while being surrounded by his fellow soldiers, with just a single look, one could tell that he is the most important figure within the group but that wasn't just all the case.
The amount of mana he excluded was terrifying.
So intensed that he had Riley squinting his eyes, the Brunet who's recognized as the young master of the Guardians, and the party leader of this party....Young Master Joel.
Riley observed the beauty he stayed by the side of the young master, black haired and grey eyed, she excluded a different type of mana, unlike the young master's whose mana remained violent and aggressive.
Her's was gentle yet overwhleming, they were the two special level gifted soldiers deployed by the Guardians for this mission.
Aside them, the Guardians brought in impressive gifted as well, each capable of taking down a Zurture or more, Riley stayed calm.
He observed the Anzerath agency as well, they were also in possession of power packed gifted but only one stood out, their party leader and the only special level gifted Anzerath deployed for this mission.
A spearman, his physique remained a representation of his brute force.
A loud clap echoed.
Drawing all the attention of every commissioned soldier present in the hallway, their attention drifted towards a certain direction, a spatial door opened up, a total of nine entities emerged from the door.
Just with a single glance, one could confirm the ranks of this officers, Commander Serjio was accompanied by his seven special officers within the J-T center, behind them was Lieutenant Connor.
The only survivor of the last savage attack against that monstrosity.
Riley noticed something, he felt his clothes being heavier than it was, sweats dripping down from his face, beads of sweats covered his face..... shocking him the more, he couldn't move an inch.
" What's this? what's this feeling? am I afraid? " He asked himself.
Unable to understand what could make him shiver like this, he turned his gaze when he noticed something, Alpha's gaze was sterned, barely controlling herself from going all out without hesitation.
" Alpha, what's wrong? " He asked.
" My husband, this mission may be a simple trap, it's worthless searching for the Mogorth, It stands with us, one of this men is it's host " Alpha reported.
Riley's eyes squinted when he received the report, he scanned the vicinity, watching the eyes of every single men present in the room, he tried figuring out who the Mogorth was but found nothing.
He felt his heart racing at a rapid rate.
Barely even listening to the words of the Commander. Zaine tried calming him down with her dragon magic, although it slowed down.....it got worse, Commander Serjio gave a lengthy speech to the commissioned soldiers.
He's on the verge of rounding his speech up.
" I'm grateful you all are standing here, determined to fight for your nation, just as I said before, we lost a city to this monster, although the gate break took alot of lives but our gifted were able to save many "
" That was until the trespasser descended to ruin everything, decimating a city and killing thousands of innocent souls, we won't let this slide.....we will find back, to defend our nation and take out this trespasser "
" Although we haven't gotten a clearer picture on what the monstrosity looks like but I would like Lieutenant Connor to address the audience, he's the only survivor amongst the many who went against this thing "
" He will give his testimony, Lieutenant Connor " Commander Serjio said.
" Thank you for this honor, Mr. Commander " Lieutenant Connor voiced out, he took a step forward with a lopsided smile plastered on his face, Riley's staggered back, he felt something horrendous.
A stench no one in this room could feel, an outworldly presence.
" That.....that....that isn't human " He whispered.
" Greetings my fellow comrades in battle, just like the Commander explained, the name is Lieutenant Connor and I'm the only survivor of that encounter and I would like to tell my story " the Lieutenant spoke out.
" Pfft, tell your story....come out, we don't need storytellers right now, we were sent here on a mission to kill something, I want to know what we will be dealing with " the Anzerath's party leader spat out.
His rude tone caused the Lieutenant to grin.
" And what may your name be? Mr? " Lieutenant Connor asked.
" Clint, the spear of the evening and the one who will bring glory to the Anzerath, instead of telling us some useless story, I want to ask a question, that monster..... can't it be killed? " Clint questioned.
Gently careesing his hair as he stood before the Lieutenant.
The silence in the air caused the overgrowing tension in the atmosphere, Riley noticed the Lieutenant's eyes changed colors, he stayed calm.....not letting his emotions override his judgment.
If he killed the Lieutenant right now, he will surely be executed.
But that's not the main issue.
Could he even kill the Lieutenant? if the Lieutenant truly is the Mogorth, does he stand a chance?
He remained motionless with hundreds of questions flooding his brain, the Lieutenant took a step forward, slowly approaching Clint, Clint squinted his eyes with his hands firmly gripping his spear.
" Lieutenant, what are you doing? " He anxiously asked.
" You asked me a question didn't you, I will answer your question...yes, that monstrosity can be killed, infact It hasn't appeared because I was able to barely injure it, while it's strength is beyond understanding "
" We can surely kill that monster " Lieutenant Connor stated, a dark grin escaped his lips, a devious smile appeared on his lips.
Gently licking his lips.
" Ah, I can smell it, fate is really on my side isn't it? to think it brought the last descendant of Argall Bloodnight to me, I can smell his bloods...one of them possesses the bloods of the Bloodnight "
" I wonder who it is, my lovely prey! "
