" What the hell happened? what the hell is happening out there, I need someone to give me a goddamn report on the situation "
Commander Serjio roared out, he walked into the control center to see everyone sitted in silence.
The control room stayed silent for a few minutes with no one uttering a single word, Lieutenant Connor stayed in the shadow, he dwelled in the corners....not making any moves to answer the questions.
" Commander Serjio, we received a message from a soldier who is the confirmed party leader of the IPac's party, they were deployed nearly an hour ago and the message got to us just few minutes ago "
One of the officers present explained, he played the recordings.
The screams of Ian was horrifying, one could tell he was overwhlemed by fear while making the pleas, he begged for his life but it was too late, Commander Serjio turned his gaze.....he glanced at the monitor screens.
A total of thirty officers were assigned to every seats, they are the tech team in charge of surveillance and receiving informations regarding the situation, they had drones spread across Chicago, witnessing the intense casualties.
" Blood heavens, this is even worse than I thought " Commander Serjio explained.
" I need news on the IPac's party, I need to know if anyone of them is alive " Commander Serjio said, only three agents of the IPac's were confirmed to be alive, they were spotted together.
" Commander sir, only a total of three survivors from the team IPac, from this footage....we have confirmed the loss, out of fifty IPac's soldiers deployed, forty seven were slaughtered " the officer reported.
He showed a footage he captured with the drone he controlled.
This footage revealed the littered corpses of IPac's soldiers, the manner they were slaughtered was just too horrifying, Ian's headless body was recognized and confirmed, alert the J-T center.
" Tch, to think this case was this serious huh? even if they were going to die.....I can't believe they were this useless, dying without even giving me the proper information I need regarding the target "
" Confirm the co-ordinates of the three survivors and prepare the Anzerath agents and the Guardians as well, they will be deployed together....in a few minutes time "
Commander Serjio commanded.
" But boss, what about the survivors? should I have them retreat? " The officer asked, Commander Serjio glanced at him with a look of disdain plastered on his face, he maintained his composure.
" We are currently at war with supernatural forces, there's no retreat.....we are soldiers, we live for our country....we die for our country, order them to support the rear troops in the evacuation process "
" When the reinforcements touches down, they will be tagged along " Commander Serjio stated.
" I don't care how mighty this trespasser is, there's one thing I can guarantee.....it won't live to see the next morning, I'll make sure that thing stays dead " Commander Serjio declared.
Lieutenant Connor glanced at the Commander from where he stood, he silently giggled, enjoying within the shadows, he made sure no one noticed him.....
" Its quite a pity human but that ain't happening, the only reason you're still breathing, the only reason all of you still breaths is because I'm yet to find the last Bloodnight, once I have him tracked down "
" I'll exterminate every single pest in this room "

Both Riley, Jackson and Shilo got the orders to remain in the city, they were commissioned to help the rear units in their positions, they stayed together, helping the civilians who weren't evacuated yet.
They helped alot of frightened children to safety.
Riley lifted a block, he rescued an elderly who was trapped under a few broken blocks, Jackson aided the elderly to safety while Riley remained where he stood, his eyes squinted.... glaring at the sky.
" Are....are you sad about our fallen comrades? " Shilo asked, this is the first time he uttered a single word since they were deployed to the city, he bent his head shylishly, but Riley ignored it, he retained his calmness.
" No, I don't give a fuck about those people, I'm curious about that blackness "
" Those waves is something I don't understand, It's pressure and power belongs to an outworldly force, can you track down the direction where it came from? " Riley asked, Shilo turned his gaze.
" Hmmm, let me try " Shilo voiced out.
" Back then, it was a few kilometers away 7 O'clock but I don't know where it is now, and from my senses, it's owned by a single entity but there were two of them " Shilo explained, Riley smiled.
" Two of them huh? you're quite effective aren't you? now that they can't be found, It's useless....we need to device another means to get them " Riley said,
Jackson ran back to them with his face beaming with smiles, he arrived on the scene, panting heavily while trying to catch his breath, Riley glared at Jackson with a confused look on his face.
" What's wrong with you? " He asked.
" Sorry my bad, I just got excited after helping that elderly, what were you two discussing just now before I came? " Jackson curiously asked, both Riley and Shilo stayed quiet, Riley ignored Jackson.
But Shilo was too shy to speak.
" Hmmm, I see....you don't want to talk huh? well then fine, I will....." Jackson couldn't complete his statement, his eyes widened....shocked by the feint vibrations he got, his body glowed brightly.
Fueling his arms with mana, he sent Riley flying with a single push.
A stinger tail was unleashed against Riley, coverings the distance within seconds, it was seconds away from piercing through the chest of Riley but Jackson's timing evaded it.
The stinger strucked Riley, not fast enough to pierce the chest of Riley but it made Riley bleed, Riley was sent crashing into a building by the force of Jackson.
The ground quaked vigorously.
A dozen large grey colored tentacles sprouted out from the ground, both Jackson and Shilo was sent crashing from the slaps they received, they aggressively hit the ground, groaning from the force.
Meanwhile Riley let's out a loud growl, emerging from the area he crashed in, his eyes squinted....he bent down, staring at his chest, he saw the stinger aimed against him, he knew what Jackson did saved his life.
" Bloody hell " He voiced out.
" Are you ok? babe " Myzel spoke, she had a concerned look written on her face, if it hadn't been for the ban Riley placed on them, stopping them from interfering unless permitted, she would have acted.
The stinger tail retracted into the shadows, Riley glanced around, searching for the attack.
" I'm good but I nearly got one shotted just now, where did that thing come from? " Riley asked, Alpha noticed Riley's bleeding chest, her eyes widened in shock.
" Husband.....your chest, you're bleeding " She voiced out.
" Yh I am, is there any problem with it? " He curiously asked, he got his answer in a more horrifying way, it was unleashed.....the absolute blackness, destructive waves of pitch black scattered.
Disrupting the flow of mana within it range.
" This feeling, it's the same as before....the feeling of death " Riley voiced out, he staggered back, trying to control his racing heart, He noticed Alpha's gaze darkened...Myzel gritted her teeths.
" Mogorths are highly sensitive to sounds and smells, they can detect the scent of bloods from a hundred miles, they are here to hunt the last of the Bloodnights, what do you think would happen "
" When the last descendant of Argall Bloodnight bleeds? " Alpha questioned.
And before Riley could reply, the fervent wind blew intensely, Riley was sent crashing back, sounds of approaching footsteps drew closer, walking into the scene was a bald headed figure, goth skinned.
His crimson eyes glowed brightly, gently sniffing the air.
" What a refreshing smell, I was right.....the last descendant of Argall Bloodnight is here, how delightful this is, It seems fate wants the line of the Bloodnights to end tonight "
His distorted voice erupted, twisting space itself.
Slowly tilting his head, his eyes met with Riley's, a lopsided smile escaped his lips, vanishing into thin air, he appeared right before Riley Bloodnight.
Before Riley could even react, the creature pierced through his chest with his claws, his right hand bursts out from Riley's back.
Riley's eyes reddened.
With bloods gushing out of his eyes, his nose and his mouth simultaneously.
