In an alternate world with a different version of history, Goryeo was started by King TaeJo, Wang Geon, a great warrior who brought together the divided tribes of Korea. Under his leadership, the kingdom thrived and became a center of culture and wealth. But as time went on, greed and betrayal started to seep into the royal family.
When the third king, TaeGon, Wang Soo, took the throne, things changed dramatically. Wang Soo, who was once a loyal brother, became obsessed with power and jealous of his older brother, Wang Seok, who had been a wise and respected king. In a shocking turn of events, Wang Soo plotted and killed Wang Seok during a celebration meant to honor the kingdom. The joyous halls were stained with blood as Wang Soo declared himself king.
After Wang Seok's murder, Goryeo fell into fear and chaos. Wang Soo ruled harshly, silencing anyone who opposed him. Instead of loyalty, he commanded fear, and the once-thriving culture of Goryeo began to fade away under his cruel rule.
This dark legacy continued with the fourth King TaeGwang Wang Uk , Wang Soo's son. Rather of fixing what was broken, he followed in his father's footsteps, embracing the same cruel ways and continuing the cycle of ambition and betrayal.
