When I arrive on the other side, I release a sigh and rein in my power. I can feel the world around me—every single being on this planet. An Alpha Plus Psyker is no joke. If I wanted to, I could wipe out every mundane human on this planet just by overloading my psychic power.
Combine that with the fact that I am an Aeldari and a Navigator, both of which amplify my psychic abilities even further, and I realize that if I truly pushed my power to the limit, I could annihilate even the supernatural world.
And that's not even mentioning my Null ability. I am an Omega Minus Plus Null, the opposite of the Emperor of Mankind. If he is the strongest psyker humanity has ever produced, then I am the strongest Pariah humanity has ever produced. If a daemon from the 40k universe were to come near me, I could grant them True Death just by unleashing my Null aura.
I could exterminate every living being in this world if I wished—but that would only complete part of my mission, not all of it. I need humanity to survive, not to be erased.
I shake my head and take a deep breath, then allow my mind to enter the Warp. To my surprise, it is calm. The Warp in this world is nothing like the one in 40k. I don't have to worry about it trying to corrupt or manipulate me. And even if it did, my perks and power make me immune—even when entering the 40k universe itself.
However, I can't say the same for my allies.
I drift through the Warp, peering deeper into its vast expanse. A second later, countless pathways appear in my mind, each one showing a different outcome of my actions. I analyze them for a few minutes before severing the connection.
I now know what I need to do.
It's time to take action.
When I open my eyes, I find myself back in my room in Romania.
"First things first… Building a workshop."

| 3rd POV |
Liliana runs for her life, the sound of cackling vampires echoing behind her.
"Gyahahahaha! Run~ Run, little mortal~ Make this fun for me!"
She ignores them, sprinting through the city streets. No matter how much she screams, no one comes out of their homes. This is the vampires' hunting tactic—a sinister method used in cities and villages across Romania.
They weave a barrier that compels mundane humans to return home and sleep, ensuring that no one intervenes. Anyone who resists—or worse, becomes their target—is left alone, forced to run in terror for the vampires' amusement.
Liliana is one of the unlucky ones.
Her luck runs out entirely when she stumbles. As she crashes to the ground, she sees a group of vampires land nearby. Three of them still have fresh blood dripping from their mouths, while the one chasing her licks his lips, saliva pooling at the edges.
"You're still playing with your food, Andrew?" one of them scoffs.
The clean vampire glares at the one called Andrew.
"I am hungry, but her fear is delicious. It almost makes me forget my hunger."
"You'd better finish quickly. We need to return to the base."
Andrew sighs dramatically, then grins at Liliana, stepping closer. She screams as he grabs her, covering her mouth.
"Shhh… Shhh… Don't worry," he whispers, his fangs glinting in the dim light. "It'll be very painful."
He leans in.
But before his fangs can pierce her neck—
Andrew bursts into flames.
The fire consumes him in seconds, his body turning to ash before he can even react.
"WHAT?!"
The remaining vampires whirl around, eyes wide in shock.
A young man approaches, his white hair shining under the moonlight, his blue eyes glowing with immense power. However, this image is covered by his immense Psychic power.
To them, he is something else entirely—something massive, clad in golden armor, radiating an overwhelming golden aura that crushes them beneath its weight.
To Liliana, however, he is hope incarnate.
The moment she sees him, the fear vanishes. The golden light fills her with warmth and courage, replacing her terror with an unshakable sense of safety.
The last two vampires barely have time to react before they too combust, engulfed in psychic fire that reduces them to ash.
Nathan watches them burn, then turns his attention to Liliana. He kneels before her, his voice gentle.
"Are you okay?"
She stares at him, still in shock. But more than that, she feels him. His words are imbued with power—she can sense his concern, kindness, and barely restrained fury. And though she doesn't understand why, she knows his anger isn't directed at her.
It was for the monsters who hunted her.
Nathan slowly retracts his psychic power, dimming the overwhelming golden radiance. His divine, awe-inspiring presence shifts into something more human, though even now, there's an otherworldly quality to him.
Only those with an exceptionally powerful Pariah Gene could see through his psychic projection.
"I-I…" Liliana stammers, struggling to form words.
Nathan places a hand on her shoulder, sending a pulse of Biomancy through her body, healing her wounds and soothing her mind.
"Better?"
She takes a breath, then nods. "Y-Yes… Thank you."
Nathan smiles. "Good. Let's get you home."
He helps her to her feet and escorts her through the darkened streets. As they walk, he suddenly speaks.
"I'm sorry I couldn't save your friends."
Liliana stops. Her hands tremble as she looks at him.
"…What happened to them, sir?"
Nathan's expression darkens. "The vampires devoured them whole. They left nothing behind."
Liliana shudders at the horrifying truth.
"A-Are there… more of them?"
"Yes," Nathan replies grimly. "Vampires have plagued Romania for far too long. But their time is coming to an end. Humanity must rise—take control of its own destiny and break free from the supernatural's grip."
Liliana looks at him in awe.
"The supernatural… Does that mean there are others?"
Nathan nods. "Yes. Devils, angels, monsters, gods—they all exist."
She hesitates, then whispers, "If gods exist… then why do they allow us to suffer?"
Nathan laughs bitterly.
"Because to them, we are nothing but batteries."
"Batteries?"
"Batteries of Faith. Without humanity, they would have died out long ago. You think we were made in their image?" He scoffs. "No. It's the opposite. They were born from our image—our belief in a higher power. And in their arrogance, they believe they deserve our worship without giving us anything in return."
As he speaks, visions flood Liliana's mind.
She sees it—beings of immense power, born from the faith of humanity. She sees Gods born from faith humanity gives to the unknown power made manifest. They see the Gods playing the humans that give birth to them because they think they deserve it.
However, that is not the only one. He sees other races born as well. Some of them are born from the faith humanity generates, and some of them are from the creations of the Gods.
She sees devils enslaving humans for their amusement. Angels, perched in their celestial kingdom, doing nothing as the devout suffer below, unwilling to disrupt the status quo.
It shakes her faith to its core.
"That's why…" Nathan says, his voice is resolute. "I want humanity to grow without them. But first, I must exterminate the parasites that plague Romania."
A new vision flashes before her.
She sees the future—a world where humanity stands tall, reaching beyond Earth, forging its own destiny, free from supernatural shackles. She sees humanity reach into the stars and expand its border beyond what even the supernatural can do.
It is a beautiful sight.
When the vision fades, they arrive at her home. Nathan offers a gentle smile.
"I can erase your memories of this. It would make your life easier."
"W-will I forget about you?"
"Sadly, yes."
Liliana stares at him, then shakes her head.
"No. I want to remember. In fact…" Her eyes burn with determination. "I want to join you."
Nathan raises an eyebrow. "I beg your pardon?"
She clenches her fists.
"Let me join you, sir. I want to change the world. I want to see the world you will build! I want to see humanity flourish. I want to see humanity reach for the stars."
Unknowingly, her decision would lay the foundation for the Imperium of Mankind. The Imperium lasted hundreds of thousands of years.
