Shrek Academy!
With Chen Xin and Gu Rong, two Titled Douluo, releasing even a hint of their aura, it was enough to instill fear in anyone. When Ning Fengzhi and Ning Rongrong entered the academy, no one dared to stop them. They were simply led to the reception room.
Shortly after, the higher-ups of Shrek Academy—Flender, Zhao Wuji, Yu Xiaogang, and Liu Erlong, the former principal of Blue Tyrant Academy—received the news and immediately rushed to the reception room.
When the two sides met, Flender felt a bitter taste in his mouth. Even if he hadn't met them in person, he could still identify their identities. The elegant man beside Ning Rongrong was undoubtedly Ning Fengzhi, the Sect Master of the Seven Treasure Glazed Sect.
The elderly man on the left, with white hair and a youthful face, exuding a sharp aura, was likely Chen Xin, the Sword Douluo, the strongest fighter of the Seven Treasure Glazed Sect.
The tall, burly man on the right, with a gaunt face and deep-set eyes, seemingly held together by his skeletal frame, was probably Gu Rong, the Bone Douluo, the second strongest fighter of the Seven Treasure Glazed Sect.
With such a lineup, they could destroy Shrek Academy in minutes. Flender had brought Yu Xiaogang to Liu Erlong, and Liu Erlong had handed over Blue Tyrant Academy to him. Now that Blue Tyrant Academy had been renamed Shrek Academy, it seemed like Shrek Academy was about to flourish. But now, this had happened.
To protect the academy, Flender took the initiative to lower his head, putting on a flattering smile. The once-proud man now acted subservient, rubbing his hands together as he said:
"The renowned Sect Master Ning has graced us with his presence, truly bringing honor to our humble academy. I am Flender, the principal of Shrek Academy. May I ask what brings Sect Master Ning here?"
Ning Fengzhi chuckled lightly. His face was as smooth as jade, exuding an air of elegance and gentleness. His deep eyes seemed to see through people's hearts as he spoke in a warm voice:
"Principal Flender, there's no need to be so nervous. We've come uninvited, but we mean no harm. We simply wish to have a chat with a student of yours named Tang San. Please bring him out."
Upon hearing this, Yu Xiaogang reacted the most strongly, immediately stepping forward to question:
"My name is Yu Xiaogang. The Tang San you're referring to is my disciple. May I ask what business you have with him?"
Ning Fengzhi's gaze sharpened, and Chen Xin's eyes turned cold. However, they didn't speak. Instead, Gu Rong glanced over and snorted:
"Yu Xiaogang, even the old dragon of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect wouldn't dare speak to us in such a disrespectful tone!"
Facing Gu Rong's oppressive aura, Yu Xiaogang's face turned pale. As a level 29 Great Soul Master, he could barely stand. His earlier boldness was likely due to being spoiled by Bibi Dong—a twin-souled, Titled Douluo, the Pope of the Spirit Hall, and a divine inheritor. Yet, in front of Yu Xiaogang, she was meek and lacked any authority.
Not to mention Liu Erlong, who now stepped forward, shielding Yu Xiaogang. She didn't argue but helped him withstand the pressure.
Seeing the atmosphere grow tense, Flender quickly gave Zhao Wuji a look, signaling him to bring Tang San. Both of them knew Tang San's background—he had Tang Hao backing him.
With such a powerful figure behind him, Tang San might not be in danger, but if they resisted, trouble was inevitable.
Zhao Wuji lowered his head and quickly left the reception room. He had learned his lesson—when facing someone stronger, it was best to obey unless it was a matter of life and death.
Soon, Zhao Wuji found the Shrek Five Monsters—Dai Mubai, Oscar, Ma Hongjun, Tang San, and Xiao Wu—in the small forest behind the academy. This area was originally where Liu Erlong lived, but after Yu Xiaogang arrived, she had given it up for him to teach the students.
Zhao Wuji shouted:
"Tang San, come quickly! Someone is looking for you in the reception room—the Sect Master of the Seven Treasure Glazed Sect, the two guardian Titled Douluo, Sword Douluo and Bone Douluo, and Ning Rongrong. They've specifically asked to see you. Hurry up and come with me."
Hearing this, the five of them were visibly shaken. What a grand lineup—the Sect Master of the second most powerful sect on the continent, along with two guardian Titled Douluo, had specifically asked to see Tang San.
Tang San's expression darkened. His only connection to the Seven Treasure Glazed Sect was Ning Rongrong. It seemed this matter was related to her.
He glanced around. Dai Mubai's face was even paler than his. After all, Dai Mubai had once insulted Ning Rongrong, using very harsh words.
Xiao Wu, too, looked ashen. Her rabbit ears drooped, her eyes were vacant, and her body trembled. As a hundred-thousand-year soul beast in human form who hadn't yet reached maturity, she was terrified of encountering Titled Douluo. Now, with two Titled Douluo in the academy, her fear was understandable.
Tang San's heart softened as he said to Xiao Wu:
"Xiao Wu, don't be afraid. Since they want to see me, I'll go meet them. You don't have to come with me. Just wait here for me to return."
Xiao Wu, touched by his words, wanted to follow but couldn't bring herself to move. She nodded and said:
"Alright."
With that, Tang San followed Zhao Wuji out of the forest and headed toward the reception room.
On the way, Zhao Wuji remained silent for a while before saying abruptly:
"Tang San, if you encounter any danger later, just tell them your father's name. It should keep you safe."
Tang San's heart stirred. His father was just a blacksmith in a small village. How could his name possibly intimidate the Sect Master of the second most powerful sect and two guardian Titled Douluo? Unless…
Before he could think further, Zhao Wuji led him into the reception room.
Once inside, Zhao Wuji immediately introduced:
"Sect Master Ning, this is Tang San!"
As Tang San entered the reception room, he was met with numerous gazes. He couldn't help but feel nervous, but he forced himself to remain calm. He cupped his hands and said:
"I am Tang San. Greetings to all. May I ask why you've summoned me?"
Ning Fengzhi looked at the unremarkable Tang San, his eyes filled with curiosity. However, his expression remained gentle, and he even offered a compliment that felt somewhat forced:
"So you're Tang San. Indeed, a fine young man. I am Ning Fengzhi, Rongrong's father. I've heard about you from Rongrong. Your hidden weapons are quite practical. May I ask who passed down your hidden weapon craftsmanship? Is it one of the three legendary divine blacksmiths—Lou Gao, Titan, or Tang Hao…"
When Ning Fengzhi mentioned the first two names, Tang San showed no reaction. But when he mentioned the last name, Tang San's eyes widened in shock. Tang Hao—a divine blacksmith? His father, who spent his days drinking and sleeping, couldn't possibly be a divine blacksmith. Perhaps it was just a coincidence.
Thinking this, Tang San replied solemnly:
"Sect Master Ning, my hidden weapon craftsmanship isn't from any of the three divine blacksmiths you mentioned. I don't know Lou Gao or Titan. As for Tang Hao, he is indeed my father, but he's just an ordinary blacksmith in a small village. He's likely not the divine blacksmith you're referring to."
Ning Fengzhi's eyes gleamed. Everything added up now. Tang San was Tang Hao's son. The name Tang Hao, combined with his profession as a blacksmith, was too much of a coincidence. Moreover, Tang Hao had disappeared from the public eye for years, so it made sense that he'd hide in a small village.
And judging by Tang San's reaction, Tang Hao hadn't told him the truth. Now, Ning Fengzhi had to carefully navigate this situation…

Today's update is complete.
Some readers have suggested giving Chen Xin, Gu Rong, and Ning Fengzhi immortal herbs to enhance the sect's high-end combat power and prepare for the upcoming Spirit Hunting Operation. This will be addressed later.
The protagonist only knows about the immortal herbs consumed by the Shrek Seven Monsters, but those herbs' attributes may not suit Chen Xin, Gu Rong, or Ning Fengzhi. Later, when Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan return from the Star Luo Empire with the Po Clan's legacy, they will create immortal herbs with suitable attributes.
Additionally, it's best if Ning Fengzhi takes the initiative to ask for the immortal herbs. This will elevate the protagonist's status within the sect, strengthen his influence, and make it easier for him to propose ideas or take action in the future.
Otherwise, if the protagonist simply hands over the immortal herbs and is still treated as a junior, it would be a loss. The protagonist's efforts would be meaningless.
