Lucy is baking truffles shaped like a rose with strawberry flavours and ganache inside of the chocolates. She'll also put cinnamon, vanilla, dark chocolates, raspberry truffles, and hazelnut for texture that will surely be liked by other individuals. Lucy truthfully hopes these chocolates she's making will make a lot of her classmates smile and get closer to one another, and maybe give her another chance to make a new group of friends that may someday accept her.
Valentine's Day has finally anchored and now it's morning at school as everyone is hurrying to prepare themselves to become more appropriately beautiful and cute in front of their idols, crushes, boyfriends, or girlfriends, and particularly for their prince and princess of their school. Lots of girls and boys are holding out a small container of a pouch full of chocolates as they line themselves in one file, waiting for Ryosuke and Lucy to arrive.
Lucy, Ema, and Yuusuke are walking in the hallway before going into class as their class hasn't started yet and the warning bell hasn't rung yet. Lucy is hoping that everyone loves her homemade truffles as she brooded, fretting over something that will surely not happen even without hoping or wishing for it. In her school bag were small pouches with her special chocolates for everyone in their class to share.
"They will like it, Lu-chan. You did work extra hard for it." – Ema said reassuringly, but laughing mentally as she saw Lucy pout adorably, she could not help it, Lucy was too cute for her good. Sometimes Ema can't comprehend her way of thinking now, before the child Lucy in her memories is full of self-confidence and shines brightly, however, when she came back, that confidence and brightness lost its luster. Even though she still shines and attracts others with her confidence, it still does not compare to when they were children.
"A-Ano..." – Yuusuke trailed catching the two girls' attention in front of him. They looked back as they saw him blushing and acting shy, as one of his hands was attached to his nape, he handed out two small bags of chocolates to them.
"T-These a-are for you..." – he stammered after gathering enough courage to give those chocolates to them, he knew that guys are supposed to give chocolate on white day, but he felt bad at not giving them anything in return for their hard work at baking chocolates for them.
"Arigato Yuusuke-Kun." – both of them said happily in unison which caused him to blush further.
"It's the strawberry chocolate I made for you guys last night when everyone was sleeping, I have to make the other deliveries after school for those who aren't planning to go back to the residence." – Lucy said as she handed out her homemade Valentine's chocolate to Yuusuke and little Ema.
"Happy would always compliment and boast how good these tastes are. I'm happy to taste such delicacy it." – Ema beamed happily towards the blonde girl and Yuusuke who nodded his head in agreement.
"I put a little extra in yours little Ema, so you can share yours with Julie. So, you guys don't have to fight over it, if it's not enough tell me as I'll a make a new batch." - Ema almost knelt down and worship Lucy, her eyes sparkles with admiration that Ema thought she'll become spoiled at the rate Lucy is treating her so nice, she feels so special.
"Lucy-sama!" – The trio turns their head towards where the shout comes from. A group of students behind them automatically bows and hands out chocolates from both girls and boys to Lucy, who is surprised to speak.
"Oh, my... is that all for me?" – Lucy nervously chuckles as the two sweatdrops and slowly back off to escape from the crowd leaving Lucy behind in the eye of the storm. Ema and Yuusuke do not want to be included in such a storm, so they decided when they saw the huge crowd going towards Lucy. Right then, in a blink of an eye, the two siblings took a step back, then ran for the hill, leaving the poor Lucy at the mercy of the crowd.
"Hai!" – they said at the same time blushing. She handed the box she was carrying to Yuusuke, who took it, and then escaped as Lucy went to go and collect each one, thanking them honestly with a graceful smile plastered on her enchanting face. Now, as she walks to the class, Lucy already has a pile of chocolates in her arms as she doesn't want to lose sight of her two friends, who tried to escape from the storm, leaving her behind. The two notice that they won't be able to escape from it as Lucy is hot on their tails with fangirls and boys giving her chocolates as she collects them.
"Lu-chan is popular." – Ema said as the girl sulked
"I didn't even do anything yet I am."
"Oh, if it isn't Lucy...you already got bundles of chocolates." – A voice approached beside the two girls. She looked up to find a tall black-haired man, meeting his red eyes, who was also carrying a lot of chocolates in his arms.
"Ehn...I didn't think I'd get any except little Ema, so this is a shock to me." – she sighed as they continued straight to their classroom. Once they open the door to the classroom, the quartet stands frozen at the door as they look at Lucy and Ryosuke's desks already have a mountain of chocolates in small boxes or bags that is deisgn in a cute manner. Their jaws dropped to the ground from getting overwhelmed by their fans' affection towards them.
"This is worse than how you normally get Ryosuke." – Yuusuke sighed, plopping down in his seat with the box on his desk, staring pityingly at his empty desk with no sign of any pouch of chocolates for him. Yuusuke's confidence for his looks got lower, but when he glanced at the two chocolates he got from Ema and Lucy, his confidence grew greatly and with a smile, he shrugged at the lack of presence of chocolates.
"I would have to agree, probably because everyone now envisions a fairy tale between a new princess and a prince in the school." – he chuckles, putting the extra gifts on top of the mountain as Lucy follows from behind, thinking.
How ironic, when she heard Ryosuke speak about fairy tales, she immediately thought about that guild she called family once. Where some of her friends are still there to be the pillar of her once master 'Gramps' those friends of hers that stayed are the only evidence of once Fairy Tail. It is also ironic as the school keeps calling her the princess, it's humorous that she could not help being amused by it.
"Minna-san!" – Lucy called out catching everyone's attention and opening the box on Yuusuke's desk.
"I made truffles shaped into a rose for the rest of the class so please take one." – she beamed tilting her head, they all blushed at how cute she looked as all of them smiled with sparkles in their eyes as they made fine line each grabbing one. Once they all take a bite they moan in delightfulness, at how smooth and delicious the chocolate melted in their mouth, it's indescribable.
"Oh yeah, Lucy..." – Ryosuke started getting her attention as she put the chocolates in the boxes, she was provided earlier by a student the same as himself.
"What's up?" – she looks up as he holds two boxes and one small one towards her.
"Here, these are from my siblings and me." – he smiles
"Oh~ the great Ryosuke-sama got me a precious gift?" – she teases while smirking at the end as the said man merely blushes rubbing the back of his neck.
"Misaki and Hiroki wanted to make you something, so it'd be rude if I gave you nothing." – he smiles while looking away to avoid her eyes as he feels embarrassed and giddy or butterflies fluttering in his stomach. Everyone in the classroom stops and looks at the interactions of their beautiful royalties, it's like they're watching a love story. There is an 'aww~' as she puts them in her bag, pulling out two neatly tied bags and a slightly bigger coloured one, much to the confusion of the others.
"These two are for Misa-chan and Hiro-chan...and this bigger one is specially made for you." – she winked much to his amusement.
"For me..." – he questioned silently but he knew Lucy heard him loud and clear. Unbeknownst to others, a dragon rainbow mark appears behind his left ear as his heart flutters like a flapping wing of a dove ready to take off.
'You'll thank me later' she sent to him telepathically giggling as he merely tilted his head wondering about it.
Class started and everyone took their appropriate seats once the teacher walked in. She didn't bother to ask a question about the boxes behind Ryosuke, and Lucy already remembered it was Valentine's Day today. Continuing with the class, they were notified that they will be holding a festival in the next couple of weeks, so they will only be focusing on that by next week. Everyone couldn't help but feel excited as Lucy glanced at Ryosuke who explained to her what it was. Once the bell rang, they all rushed out. Lucy carried two heavy boxes as if they were nothing and Ryosuke did the same, much to the students' shocks who were planning to make a move by helping one of them out (especially Lucy).
"Ne, Ryo-Kun, do you need me to drive you home since you have those boxes? Fuuto-Kun didn't come to school today, so I can drop you off today," – she said glancing at him from her car and putting the boxes in the trunk.
"Sure, that'll be a great help." – he smiles gratefully for the help as he puts his boxes in the trunk, then takes a seat in the backseat with him and Yuusuke as Ema sits at the front. Throughout the car ride, everyone was having casual talks as they introduced Lucy to how the human world works or their school, specifically on what they usually do on a school festival. Once they reached Ryosuke's house, they were automatically greeted by two adorable little kids.
"Uwaa...Misa-chan! Hiro-chan!" – Lucy squealed as the two ran into her arms.
"What are you guys doing outside of the house?" – Ryosuke said, grabbing his boxes as Ema and Yuusuke stepped out and helped him.
"We wanted to wait for Onii-chan, but we didn't know Onii-chan brought pretty Onee-san." – Misaki said as Hiroki nodded gripping onto Lucy's clothes not wanting to let go as the boy innocently look up and staring at Lucy's chocolate eyes with his puppy eyes.
"So, these are the siblings that like Lucy so much." – Yuusuke said crouching down to their level and pinching their chubby cute cheeks which only made the two children feel antagonize and begins to harbor bad impression of Yuusuke.
"Who are you?" – Misaki asks as she swats down Yuusuke's hands before even touching her cheeks staring at Yuusuke with grudge expressing her displeasing impression of him.
"I'm Ryosuke and Lucy's friend, Yuusuke. The girl beside me, is my little sister and Lucy's closest best friend, Ema." – he grins and gestures to the brown-haired girl.
"Nice to meet you both." – Ema smiles bowing to them. The two kids looked at each other, releasing Lucy, standing side by side together and holding hands, making their hearts clench because of overflowing cuteness.
"Misaki's name is Misaki and this is Hiroki Onii-chan." – They both bowed as a greeting to them.
"You guys are too cute." – Lucy giggles and stands up
"Well...we need to go, I still need to go and drop them off and make some quick stops to deliver my chocolates to the others."
"Alright, Arigatou for dropping me off." – Ryosuke smiles at Lucy patting her head who beamed in return making him blush and then look away just to hide it which the three spectators snicker on the sideline, while Hiroki pouted cutely feeling jealous towards his Onii-chan for the first time.
"Let's go, Minna."
"Wait for me, onee-san..." – Misaki said running to the blonde girl.
"What is it, Misa-chan?" – Lucy asked, but the little girl asked Lucy to bend down as she followed, cupping a hand towards her ear and then whispering.
"Onii-chan tried hard to pick out Onee-san's gift, so Misaki hopes Onee-san likes it." - Having dragon ears, the man immediately grew red once more, the blonde girl glanced at him mischievously while giggling and petting her head.
"I'll trust you on that Misa-chan, bye-bye~" - the three teenagers wave at the Sato family and ride in the car then Lucy drive away.
