Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Taking mother and daughter

On the city streets, Goku charged ahead alone, making a grand spectacle of himself. The girls sat inside the Hummer, following closely behind, the engine roaring and the horn blaring—if they wanted to be high-profile, they were going all out. While others avoided zombies at all costs, they were deliberately attracting more.

Saeko, Rie, Yuriko, and Rika paired up in twos, stationed at the windows, shooting down any stray zombies that managed to get close to the Hummer.

The gunfire and honking drew more and more zombies toward their street. It wasn't long before the entire area was packed with the undead.

Seeing the masses of zombies surrounding the Hummer, the girls started to sweat nervously. They had absolute confidence in Goku, but facing hundreds, if not thousands, of zombies at once would make anyone's scalp tingle.

"G-Goku... that's enough, right? If you don't come back soon, we're going to become zombie food!" Hayashi called out to Goku, her voice a mix of tension and excitement. This was sheer madness—probably something only they would dare to do in this world.

Goku glanced back at them, then leaped into the air, landing gracefully on the roof of the Hummer. He grinned. "Ladies, the feast is about to begin!" With that, he conjured energy blasts in both hands and started tossing them around like he was throwing trash.

Boom! Boom! Bang!

Explosions rocked the streets, blasting massive craters into the ground. Countless zombies were obliterated, their limbs flying in all directions. Within moments, the entire area was drenched in a thick, bloody mist.

The girls were stunned into silence. Hayashi quickly pulled Alice into her arms, shielding her from the gruesome sight.

"I suddenly feel kinda bad for these zombies…" Shizuka muttered softly. The others nodded in agreement.

"These zombies were just unlucky to run into Goku," Saeko remarked, a glint of excitement flashing in her eyes. The carnage before her stirred a deep-seated bloodlust within. If Goku hadn't strictly ordered them to stay in the vehicle for safety, she probably would've joined the slaughter already.

Within minutes, the thousands of zombies surrounding them had been reduced to a field of mangled corpses. The once-solid concrete pavement was now riddled with craters, resembling a war zone.

"Shizuka, let's get out of here. I think I'm gonna be sick," Hayashi urged. Even though they were all somewhat used to gore, this was a bit much.

"Right," Shizuka nodded and started driving away.

Suddenly, the sky darkened, and before long, heavy rain began to pour.

"it's raining! Looks like we'll need to find shelter," Shizuka said, stretching a hand out the window to feel the raindrops.

"Mmm, let's go to that two-story house up ahead," Saeko suggested, pointing to a house with a courtyard.

After parking the Hummer in the yard, Saeko was the first to jump out, swiftly taking down three zombies in the yard before making her way to the front door. She turned to Goku expectantly.

Goku smirked and waved her on. "Go ahead. I know you've been itching for some action. I won't steal this one from you."

Saeko's face lit up with excitement as she kicked open the door and charged inside.

Once the house was cleared, everyone settled in for a much-needed break. Some took showers, some started cooking, and Goku went outside to eliminate any lingering zombies before returning.

Just as he opened the door, Goku was greeted by the sight of Hayashi stepping out of the bathroom in a revealing bathrobe. His eyes gleamed.

"Wow, babe, that outfit really suits you. I love it," he teased.

Hayashi's face instantly turned red. She stammered, "H-huh? Uh… I… um…" Clearly flustered, she lowered her head, too embarrassed to meet his gaze.

Goku had only meant to tease her, but her reaction caught him off guard. Seeing how shy she was, he immediately understood—if he didn't take action now, he might as well hit himself with a brick.

Grinning, he stepped forward to embrace her, but Hayashi quickly took a step back. She shot him a nervous glance before silently heading upstairs to one of the rooms. Her intentions were clear.

____

As the door clicked shut behind him, Goku turned to Hayashi with a slow smirk. She stood near the bed, her fingers lightly gripping the bathrobe as if debating whether to step forward or retreat.

"You're nervous," Goku murmured, stepping closer, his voice laced with amusement.

Hayashi swallowed hard but held her ground. "yes," she whispered.

With deliberate slowness, he reached for her hand, his fingers grazing her palm before entwining with hers. His touch was warm. She didn't resist when he pulled her closer, their bodies mere inches apart. He could feel the heat radiating from her, the way her chest rose and fell as she struggled to steady her breath.

"You look hot, Hayashi" he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Her lips parted slightly, as if to answer, but instead of words, she let her actions speak. She leaned in hesitantly, her forehead pressing lightly against his. Goku took it as an invitation. He tilted her chin up with his fingers, his eyes searching hers for a brief moment before his lips finally met hers.

The kiss was slow at first. But as Hayashi's hesitation melted away, she responded with more urgency, her fingers curling into his shirt. Goku's grip tightened around her waist, pulling her firmly against him.

His hands moved slowly, trailing up her back, his fingertips brushing against the delicate nape of her neck. A soft sigh escaped her lips as he deepened the kiss, his other hand slipping down to the small of her back, pressing her even closer.

"Goku…" she whispered breathlessly against his lips.

He hummed in response, his mouth tracing a slow path down the curve of her jawline, his lips brushing the sensitive skin of her neck. He could feel the way she trembled under his touch, the way her breath hitched when his hands moved to her shoulders, sliding the bathrobe ever so slightly aside.

"You're so warm," he murmured against her skin, savoring the way she clung to him.

Hayashi closed her eyes, tilting her head back as his lips explored the hollow of her throat, his hands gliding over the smooth skin of her body. Her fingers found their way to his chest, pressing against the firm muscle beneath his clothes.

Their bodies moved in sync, breaths mingling, fingers tracing familiar paths across each other's skin. Lost in the heat of their shared embrace.

---

Downstairs, in the kitchen, Alice cheerfully hummed as she helped Saeko wash vegetables. She paused, tilting her head toward the ceiling where muffled sounds drifted down from upstairs.

"Nee-san, nee-san! Goku-nii is back! And it sounds like he and Hayashi-nee are playing a game together! I wanna play too!" Alice chirped, beaming with excitement.

Saeko's hand jerked, nearly dropping the knife she was holding. Her face turned an alarming shade of red.

"Alice…" Saeko said carefully, glancing toward the stairs. "That's… um… not a game for you."

Alice pouted, puffing out her cheeks. "Why not? Goku-nii always plays with me too!"

Saeko sighed, rubbing her temples. "Let's just finish cooking, okay?"

Alice huffed but went back to washing the carrots, though she remained curious about what kind of "game" was happening upstairs.

Saeko sighed and shook her head with a wry smile. Looks like we have another one… She had long accepted that, given Goku's personality, he wouldn't leave a single girl in their group untouched. But now that it was actually happening, she couldn't help but feel a little jealous.

Twenty minutes later, Goku slipped out of Hayashi's room and headed straight for Shizuka's.

Don't underestimate twenty minutes—with Goku's insane stamina, that was equal to several hours for an ordinary woman.

Inside Shizuka's room, he was greeted by an unexpected sight. Not only was Shizuka sleeping soundly in bed, but Rei and Rika were curled up beside her, hugging each other as they dozed off. The stress of the day had clearly exhausted them.

"Well, well… now this is a beautiful view," Goku chuckled, sliding under the covers.

By the time dinner rolled around, Goku emerged from the room looking completely refreshed, humming a tune as he strolled into the dining area. His cheerful expression sent warning signals through Yuriko and Saya.

Exchanging a glance, Yuriko and Saya quickly finished their food before rushing into their room. Locking the door behind them, they pressed their backs against it. To be extra safe, they dragged a heavy dresser in front of it, then hurried to shut the windows tightly. Only when every possible escape was blocked did they finally let out a sigh of relief.

They had figured it out—Goku was far too dangerous.

One misstep, and they'd be caught in his grasp.

Yet, even as they lay side by side in bed, their bodies wrapped in the soft glow of the moonlight, a strange feeling churned within them. Anxiety, yes, but something else too. A thrill. A deep, undeniable anticipation that neither dared to voice aloud.

Saya turned slightly, curling against her mother's warmth. "Do you think he'll—"

A sudden shift in the air made her voice catch.

A shadow loomed just beyond the window.

A thin beam of energy flickered from the darkness, slicing through the window latch with effortless precision.

Yuriko's breath hitched. Before she could react, the window creaked open, a cool breeze sweeping into the room. And then… he was there.

Goku.

He climbed through with a lazy grace, his wild hair catching the silver glow of the moon. That ever-present smirk tugged at his lips as he leaned against the frame, arms crossed.

"Come on now," he teased, eyes gleaming with amusement. "Did you really think you could run from me?"

Yuriko's heart pounded. Saya clutched the blankets to her chest, eyes wide. "H-How did you—"

Goku chuckled, stepping forward. "Locks? Barricades? That's cute." His voice dropped lower, almost a purr. "But you should know by now… that won't stop me."

The air in the room grew heavy with tension.

Yuriko swallowed hard. "You're persistent."

He tilted his head. "I always get what I want."

Then, before either woman could react, he closed the distance between them. His fingers traced along Yuriko's jaw, tilting her face up to meet his gaze. The heat of his touch sent a shiver down her spine.

Saya's breath hitched as he turned his attention to her next, reaching out to brush a stray lock of hair from her cheek. His touch lingered, warm and deliberate.

"I can hear your hearts racing," he murmured, his smirk deepening.

Yuriko trembled as Goku leaned in closer. His lips brushed against her ear before trailing lower, pressing a slow, deliberate kiss against the curve of her neck. A sharp inhale left her lips, her body instinctively pressing into his warmth.

Saya stiffened beside them, but Goku merely chuckled, his hand sliding gently down her back. "Still resisting?" he whispered against her skin.

Neither of them spoke.

And then… the tension broke.

Yuriko turned her face, capturing his lips in a desperate, heated kiss. His grip on her tightened instantly, pulling her flush against him. his hands tracing the soft curves of her waist before wrapping her in an unyielding embrace.

Saya watched, her face flushed, her breath uneven. When Goku's gaze flickered to her again, she froze—until he reached for her, pulling her into his warmth as well. His lips brushed against her forehead before trailing down, featherlight and teasing.

The night stretched long, filled with heat, and sensations that neither Yuriko nor Saya could bring themselves to resist.

---

By the time Yuriko woke up the next day, it was nearly noon. Sunlight streamed through the half-open window, casting golden patterns across the sheets.

She stirred slightly, feeling the weight of a strong arm draped around her naked waist. Turning her head, she found Goku still holding her close, his expression peaceful, his breath slow and steady.

And just behind him… Saya, her arms wrapped around his back, her face nestled against his warmth.

Yuriko exhaled, a helpless smile forming on her lips. In the end… we still couldn't escape this wolf.

Her body still tingled from the memories of the night before, a heat blooming in her chest. It should have frightened her. Instead, she felt safe. Protected.

Brushing a strand of hair from Saya's face, she sighed, resting her head back against Goku's chest.

Perhaps… this fate wasn't so bad after all.

___

"Goku-nii! The sun's already up! Why are you guys still in bed?" Alice's voice suddenly called from outside the door.

Yuriko tensed up, quickly checking that the door was still locked before letting out a sigh of relief.

Goku, meanwhile, lazily stretched. "Morning, Yuriko." He smirked and nuzzled against her.

Yuriko rolled her eyes and nudged him away. "Get up already! It's late!" She then turned to wake Saya, who immediately blushed and buried her face in the blanket.

"Tch, what's there to be embarrassed about? I've already seen and touched every inch of you," Goku teased, pulling the blanket away.

After getting dressed—with Yuriko's help—Goku finally strolled out of the room, looking completely satisfied.

At this moment, Saeko had already prepared breakfast and was bringing the freshly reheated dishes to the table… Meanwhile, the other girls were still busy in the bathroom, washing up.

"Saeko, look what I found!" Shizuka walked out of her room, holding a sword in her hand. She ran over to Saeko with an excited expression, as if presenting a treasure, wearing a face that practically said, Come on, beg me, and I might just give it to you.

"A sword…" Saeko's eyes lit up instantly. For a swordswoman, nothing was more exciting than a good blade. "Where did you find this?"

"In the wardrobe! My sock had a hole in it, so I was looking around for a spare, and guess what? I found this in a hidden compartment!" Shizuka said proudly. Though honestly, was this really something to be proud of?

Saeko frowned slightly. "The wardrobe? I cleaned the room before, but I never saw a sword."

"It was in a secret compartment! A hidden layer!" Wait… you were just looking for a sock, and you went as far as searching through a hidden compartment? As expected, trying to understand the thought process of an airhead was beyond me.

"That must have been quite an effort for you." Saeko smiled.

Seeing that Saeko hadn't immediately reached for the sword, Shizuka pouted and reluctantly handed it over. "Here, take it~ I don't even know how to use a sword anyway."

"Thank you!" Saeko accepted it without hesitation. There was no need for pretenses between friends.

Drawing the blade, she examined it closely. The surface was smooth like a mirror, and the edge was razor-sharp—undoubtedly an excellent weapon. Though it wasn't a legendary historical sword, it was a modern, high-quality piece that rivaled even the famous blades.

"This really is a fine sword! Thank you, Shizuka, I love it."

Hearing Saeko's praise, Shizuka immediately perked up, her disappointment vanishing as satisfaction spread across her face.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, Goku and the others set out once again to collect energy.

Overnight, more zombies had appeared on the streets. The group fought their way through the undead, eventually reaching a residential district.

Suddenly, Rei's eyes widened as she pointed ahead, her voice filled with emotion. "Goku… over there… that's my neighborhood… I want to go home and check… Maybe… my mom is still alive…"

Goku raised an eyebrow in mild surprise. "Oh? We're already near your house? Time really flies. Well then, let's go take a look!"

With that, he led the charge in the direction Rei had pointed, slicing through the zombies in their path. The Hummer followed closely behind.

Compared to the main streets of the city, the number of zombies in the residential area was significantly lower. As they advanced, they encountered only a handful of the undead.

At last, Saeko couldn't hold back any longer. After getting Goku's permission, she leaped out of the vehicle and joined the fight.

From inside the Hummer, the other girls watched as Saeko effortlessly beheaded a zombie with a single stroke, then bisected another with her next swing. Their expressions were filled with awe.

Yuriko commented, "Saeko's skills are truly impressive. Now that she has the sword Shizuka gave her, she's even more formidable."

Hayashi nodded in agreement. "Yeah, she's amazing… but don't you think her expression looks a little strange?"

Rika studied Saeko's face as she fought, a thoughtful look in her eyes. "She seems… like she's really enjoying this battle."
