Shinobu Kocho, still disheartened, followed her sister to the entrance of the Tohsaka residence. Due to the typhoon, the rain was pouring heavily, even more so than when they had arrived earlier. The torrential downpour seemed to mirror Shinobu's sorrow, as if the heavens themselves were grieving alongside her.
Staring at the dense raindrops falling from the sky, Shinobu was lost in thought.
"Shinobu?" Kanae called out, snapping her sister back to reality.
Shinobu turned to see Kanae standing at the doorway, holding an umbrella. Silently, she stepped under the umbrella with her sister. After walking a few steps, Shinobu suddenly stopped.
Kanae, not expecting her sister to halt, continued forward, leaving Shinobu exposed to the rain, which quickly drenched her hair and clothes.
"Shinobu?" Kanae returned to her sister's side, concern evident in her voice. "Are you okay?"
Before Kanae could offer any comfort, Shinobu looked up. Rainwater streamed down her face, tracing paths across her beautiful, yet despondent features.
"I..." Shinobu hesitated for a moment, then her gaze hardened. "You go back first."
"Shinobu," Kanae said, her tone gentle but firm. "What's done is done. Let's not cause any more trouble for Kaito-san or the Tohsaka family."
"I won't cause them any trouble," Shinobu replied. "I just want to..."
She trailed off, unable to finish her sentence. Instead, under Kanae's worried gaze, Shinobu turned toward the Tohsaka residence and, without a word, knelt down on the ground.
Kanae stared at her sister in shock. After a moment of silence, she sighed softly and stepped back, no longer shielding Shinobu from the rain. She moved to a spot farther away, allowing the downpour to drench Shinobu as she watched her silently.
Suddenly, Kanae's phone rang. She glanced at Shinobu one last time before answering the call.
"Okay," Kanae said after a brief conversation. "I understand. I'll be there soon."
Hanging up, Kanae looked at her sister's kneeling figure with a complex expression. Finally, she sighed and turned away, leaving Shinobu alone in the rain.
Meanwhile, Kaito had taken Kanao Kocho to the bathroom, accompanied by Maria. Since Maria had mentioned feeling unwell during dinner and requested his "treatment," Kaito decided to have her join them while he performed the "body tempering" process on Kanao.
"This sister will help you undress and get ready," Kaito explained to Kanao. "Be good and listen to her, okay?"
Kanao, her face flushed, nodded obediently. "I understand, Master."
Kaito smiled, patting Kanao's head affectionately. He liked obedient girls like her, and the gesture made her ears turn bright red.
Maria led Kanao into the bathroom, and soon, her voice called out, "You can come in now."
Kaito entered the bathroom, where Kanao sat on a wooden stool, her face crimson and her hands clutching a large towel around her body.
"Maria, go wait for me in your room," Kaito said.
"Not here?" Maria asked.
"Do you want to lie on the floor again?" Kaito chuckled. "Go take a shower first. After I finish tempering Kanao's body, I'll come and 'thoroughly' treat you."
Hearing the emphasis on "thoroughly," Maria's face turned red, but she obediently agreed and left the bathroom.
With Maria gone, Kanao grew even more nervous. Her legs pressed together tightly, and her hands fidgeted anxiously in her lap.
Kaito walked behind her and placed a hand on her head, causing her to shiver. "Are you scared of me, Master?"
"N-no, it's not that," Kanao stammered. "It's just... this is my first time... with a man... I've only ever been with my sister before..."
Kanao was too embarrassed to continue, and Kaito didn't press further. He ruffled her hair playfully, messing it up, then placed his hands on her shoulders. The touch made the sensitive and shy girl tremble slightly.
"Master is going to use lightning techniques to stimulate your body," Kaito explained. "This will help clear your meridians and activate your potential. It might feel a bit uncomfortable, but don't be afraid. I won't hurt you."
"Okay!" Kanao sat up straight, as if responding to a teacher's call.
Kaito couldn't help but laugh. He began channeling his lightning techniques, infusing them into Kanao's body.
At first, Kanao tried to endure the sensation, her body trembling slightly. But soon, she couldn't hold back any longer. Compared to someone like Maria or Alisa, Kanao was younger and had less endurance. Before long, she was whimpering and crying, sliding off the stool and clinging to Kaito's leg.
"Master..." Kanao sobbed.
Seeing her like this, Kaito sighed. He kept his right hand on her shoulder, continuing the tempering process, while using his left arm to scoop her up and hold her in his lap.
Kanao immediately clung to him like a lifeline, wrapping her arms and legs around him tightly. Despite their lack of blood relation, Kanao had clearly inherited the Kocho family's good genes. Even though she was only in middle school, her figure was already quite developed, and her movements as she clung to him were unintentionally provocative.
Kaito couldn't help but suck in a sharp breath. He felt like he could lift Kanao without even using his hands at this point.
Salute to the Kocho family!
Even worse, as he glanced at the mirror, he noticed that Kanao's towel had slipped, revealing her delicate back. A primal urge surged within him.
"Damn it," Kaito muttered to himself. "Kaito, you're a human, not an animal. You're a human, you're a human, you're an animal..."
"F***?!"
Kaito had no idea how he managed to hold back. This was by far the most torturous body tempering session he had ever conducted. If it had been Maria or Alisa, he wouldn't have hesitated. But with Kanao, he had to restrain himself.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the process was complete. Kaito placed the sweat-drenched Kanao on the stone bench in the bathroom, gently patting her head.
"That's enough for today," he said. "Take a bath and get some rest. Tomorrow, I'll start teaching you swordsmanship."
"Okay," Kanao nodded obediently, though her gaze inadvertently drifted downward. She quickly averted her eyes, too frightened to say anything more.
This... this... this would kill me!
"Alright, I'll leave you to it," Kaito said, exiting the bathroom.
As Kanao watched him leave, she noticed the towel at her feet. Turning to the mirror, she realized she was no longer covered. The memory of what she had just seen made her body heat up again, and the image lingered in her mind.
"Master..." Kanao murmured.
Without realizing why, she found herself reaching down, her thoughts consumed by the only man she had ever been so close to.
"Master..."
That night, Kanao Kocho grew up.
