Chapter 56 - Chapter 49 - I Love School Bullying

Seeing this.

Miura Yumiko had a very bad feeling.

She turned around, about to advise Alisa to stop arguing with these scumbags.

But before Miura could turn.

She heard Alisa say, "Fine!"

"Maruo-kun, please bravely tell the truth."

"Me, Hiratsuka-sensei, the other teachers, and the student council will all help you."

Looking at Alisa's stubborn and determined expression, Miura thought to herself, 'This is bad.'

If Maruo dared to tell the truth.

Would he still be getting bullied now?

The pitiful often have their own faults.

Miura had learned this back in elementary school. She had tried to help those who were bullied before.

But in the end, she realized.

Among those who were bullied, it wasn't fair to generalize.

Some truly couldn't fight back or had sought help but found none.

But others truly deserved to be bullied.

They wouldn't stand up to their bullies.

But they would lash out at those who tried to help them, the epitome of Bully the good and fear the evil.

And this Maruo, she knew him.

He was the most typical example.

Sure enough.

Under Alisa's hopeful and encouraging gaze.

Maruo suddenly mustered his courage, looked up at Alisa, and loudly said, "Toi and the others didn't bully me."

"We're good friends, they were just playing with me."

"What are you talking about?"

Alisa said in disbelief, "Your injuries...?"

"Didn't you hire someone to beat me up?!"

"Me...?!"

Alisa's eyes widened, her mind blank.

But Maruo only grew more aggressive.

The boy who had been懦弱 in front of Toi now pointed arrogantly at Alisa.

He shouted, "It's because you confessed to Toi-kun and got rejected that you held a grudge."

"You found me, trying to seduce me to frame Toi-kun!"

"But unfortunately, you misjudged me. I, Maruo, am not the kind of person who would betray friends for a woman."

"After I rejected you, you even hired someone to beat me up and secretly reported to the teacher, saying Toi-kun did it!"

"Maruo-kun, you..."

Alisa looked at this usually cowardly boy in disbelief.

Whispers began to spread around them.

"I never thought Alisa, who seemed so pure and proper, would be like this in private."

"You can't judge a book by its cover."

"But how did she fall for someone like Toi?"

"That's not important. I think this is something she would do."

Hearing those Undisguised discussion.

Seeing the boy who had once come to her crying for help after being beaten black and blue now turning around to accuse her and fabricate such lies.

Even though it was summer, Alisa felt a chill run through her.

She felt weak.

There were so many things she wanted to refute, so many holes in their story she could easily point out, but she didn't know what to say.

"You're really not my type."

"But since you're so persistent, I might as well give you a chance."

Toi, with an arm around Maruo's shoulders, said with a smirk.

Seeing this.

Miura Yumiko gritted her teeth in frustration.

Looking at Alisa's bewildered expression, she cursed under her breath, 'Idiot,' then turned to Ebina Hina and Yuigahama Yui, whispering, "Hina, go to the student council and find Maria-senpai."

"Yui, go find Hiratsuka-sensei."

"Got it."

Watching as Ebina Hina and Yuigahama Yui ran upstairs.

Miura turned her attention back to the center of the commotion.

Amid the jeers from Toi's lackeys and the girls in the crowd who had long been dissatisfied with Alyssa and jealous of her,, chants of 'Apologize!' and 'Bow down!' began to rise.

This is so annoying.

I really do hate this rigid woman.

Miura cursed under her breath. She really didn't want to step forward in this situation.

It would only bring trouble.

All for a girl she didn't even get along with.

But she couldn't just stand by and watch Alisa bow down to Toi in public, or worse.

Just stall for time.

Wait until Maria-senpai and Hiratsuka-sensei arrive, and this farce will end.

But after this, Alisa's reputation would definitely be ruined.

Even though Maruo and Toi's lies were too flimsy.

There would always be those who loved drama and had nothing better to do, spreading rumors like 'I saw it with my own eyes,' or 'I heard from someone who saw it.' Three people spreading a lie could make it seem true, but there was nothing to be done about it.

Who told her to not only have poor relationships but also provoke someone like Toi for the sake of trash like Maruo?

Let's deal with the immediate problem first.

As Miura was about to step forward.

A figure walked past her, heading straight for Alisa.

Did Maria-senpai and Hiratsuka-sensei arrive so quickly?

Miura was stunned.

Aside from Maria and the teachers, she couldn't think of anyone else who would step forward to help Alisa, who wasn't exactly popular at school.

But upon closer look, Miura realized.

It was a boy she had never seen before.

"Tch."

"Your sister is so smart."

"How did she end up with such a hopelessly stupid sister like you?"

"Are you even real sisters?"

Alisa really wanted to cry.

At this moment.

She felt as if the entire world had abandoned her, just like countless times in her childhood when her hard work and sincerity were mocked and ridiculed.

No.

This was even worse than those times.

She couldn't understand.

She was trying to help him.

Just a few days ago, he had come to her crying, begging for her help.

How could he now turn around and fabricate such lies to bite back at her in front of everyone?

Why?

Hearing the merciless mockery in his voice.

Alisa held back her tears, looking up at Kaito's laugh expression.

She didn't even have time to ask 'Why is he here?' Her eyes red, she tried to keep her voice steady, "Are you here to mock me too?"

"Do you also want me to apologize?"

"Calling you fool is an understatement."

Seeing the tears in Alisa's eyes.

Kaito shook his head.

He handed her the bag of drinks he was holding.

Then, without waiting for her response, he turned and walked toward Toi, Maruo, and the others.

"Who are you?"

Seeing Kaito approach with a indifferent expression, Toi felt uneasy.

But he still sneered, "Trying to play the hero? You better have what it takes."

"Play the hero?"

Kaito paused, his lips curling into a grin.

"No, no."

He said with funny, "I just love school bullying."
