Arjun: sir, I want to take this case
Parthiban chocked on the water and looked at Arjun shocked. He knows that Arjun won't take any case that easy without analyzing
Parthiban: what do you mean you want to take over this case. Police is handling the case and concluded that girl is the killer . Then why you want to take this case Arjun.
Arjun: Every story has two sides . We can't just concluded only hearing one side . What if there is a another side involved . I want to know about them . Just give me 2 months sir, I will solve this case .
Parthiban looked at Arjun amused and confused. Amused that he will solve a case within 2 months , confused why Arjun is determined to take this case ,what attracted him.
Parthiban: You are not going to change your mind and will be adamant right . Fine, I will talk to Chennai Commissioner about this . You pack your things to go Chennai.
Arjun: Thank you sir(saluted and left)
Parthiban shook his head and took his telephone and contacted Chennai Commissioner and said everything. Commissioner contacted the case SI(SI Atharva) and told him Arjun will join in this case. ( from the 1st chapter)
Next Day morning in Airport
Atharva and some constables came to airport to welcome Arjun. By 10 am, Flight landed and Arjun came with his luggage.
Atharva: Welcome sir, I'm Atharva SI. I'm only handling this case. Commissioner told me about everything yesterday. I have arranged a guesthouse for you sir. I heard lot about you sir and I admire and big fan of you. I'm really excited to work with you sir.
Arjun: If you done with your admiration of then we can leave( coldly)
Atharva knows about Arjun's cold rude nature and didn't take it seriously
Atharva: Yes sir
All walked to the car.
Arjun: Atharva, did Ms. Nithya woke up from unconscious state
Arjun: No sir. She didn't wake up yet . Lady constable are outside the ward. I told them to inform when she wakes up.
Arjun: Hmm. Drive to crime spot . Ask Mr. Gunasekhar ,his wife and that servant to be there.
Atharva: Yes sir
After 20 mins
They have reached the Naveen's mansion. Arjun went inside the mansion and analyzing things .
Arjun: did you collect the security camera footage ?
Atharva: Yes sir, I asked the constable to collect them.
Constable: SI sir, they have came.
Arjun and Atharva went to living room and saw the servant, Gunasekhar and Sumathi waiting.
Arjun: I'm Arjun CBI officer. From now on I will be handling this case. So I need you all cooperate to this case. I don't like when someone is not being loyal and tries to hide things. If I find something like that, you all will regret it. Am I clear.( coldly)
All nodded
Arjun: You(pointed the servant) . you said you only saw the body first, right. what happened that day
Servant: Sir, my name is Ramesh . I have been working in this house for 10 months .I took 2 weeks leave as my wife gave delivery and had to take care of her. I came by 7-7:30 for work . When I opened the door, there was a rotten smell. I was scared . I slowly entered and saw sir laying there( pointed a spot) . He was stabbed lot and blood was dried . And Nithya mam was at the corner of the room sitting and staring the body without any emotion and blankly. She was holding the knife and looking at body without blinking, sir. This scene is still in my eyes sir. I immediately called police.
Arjun: Hmm..( Turned towards Gunasekhar and Sumathi ) . How long were they married . Was it arranged or love ?
Sumathi: 2 years. Naveen came to us and said he wanted to marry some girl because he loves her. We tried to talk to him as we doesn't know anything about her but he was adamant on marrying her . That astrologer told correct only . If she came, she will harm to our family and Naveen. Now she killed him. (wails and cursing)
Arjun: Mam control your emotions. We can't prove that she is the killer just based on this. We need more evidence. And stop those astrologer and all nonsense. (sternly)
Before Gunasekhar could say anything , they were interpreted by a voice from behind them .
Person : Uncle.....Aunty..
Arjun: Who are you . Don't you know this is crime spot and you can't enter as you wanted. Who allowed you inside .
Surya: Sir, I'm Surya, Naveen's best friend from childhood . I heard about the news, so I came as soon as possible . (hugs sumathi to comfort)
Arjun: Tell me whatever you know Mr. Surya ?
Surya: me and Naveen are best friends from childhood . We studied in same school and college. He met Nithya in college only . He said he likes her and wants to marry her . I had to dropout my studies in college and leave to NY as my father in there got sick . I continued my studies there . I couldn't come to their marriage as I was busy in work . I came here as soon as possible when I heard the news sir.
Arjun: when was the last time you talked with Naveen ?
Surya: About 1 month back sir . I was busy with the new project of my company so I was not able to contact him . I didn't expect Nithya to do something like this. she was very innocent and soft-hearted. She loved Naveen alot.
Before Arjun could ask more, Atharva interrupted them
Atharva: Excuse me sir, call from hospital . She woke up.
Arjun: ok let's go. And you all ( pointed at guna, sumathi and Surya) you should come whenever i call for investigation. ( left )
After 30 min
Arjun and Atharva reached hospital and went to reception to get room no. They walked through the hallway of hospital and walked to lift . Atharva pressed the 2nd floor button . They came out of lift and walked to a room which is guarded by 2 policemen . Constable saluted at them and allowed them inside. They went inside and saw Nithya awake sitting confused. Before Arjun or Atharva could ask anything, Nithya asked.
