Chapter 109 - Klee – No Dodoking, But a Pyro Vision, a Good Person

Jiang Chen held Klee's hand as they walked away.

Meanwhile, Jean, Lisa, and the others began discussions with Ningguang and her group. After all, the purpose of their visit to Mondstadt was business, not leisure. The development of Guili Plains had already begun. On their way over, they had seen workers constructing roads and numerous large mechanical constructs operating in the area.

The sight of those mechanical constructs had truly astonished Jean and her companions. Those machines were incredibly convenient. With such tools, construction in Liyue would become far more efficient. Aside from discussing various collaborations, another key reason for their visit was to inquire about those mechanical constructs—something they had only just noticed. If possible, Mondstadt would certainly want to acquire some. The only question was whether Liyue would be willing to sell them. All of this required careful negotiation.

Jiang Chen paid no attention to the discussions happening behind him. Instead, he took Klee on a leisurely stroll through Liyue Harbor.

"Brother Jiang Chen," Klee said excitedly, "can you teach Klee how to plant mushrooms? Klee really wants to learn that!"

Once they were outside, Klee looked up at Jiang Chen with sparkling eyes. She wanted to learn how to plant mushrooms—it seemed absolutely amazing!

Hearing her request, Jiang Chen chuckled.

"Planting mushrooms? Actually, Klee can do it too! The only reason you haven't succeeded yet is because your firepower isn't strong enough."

Klee blinked in curiosity.

Firepower wasn't strong enough?

"Then how can Klee increase her firepower?" she asked eagerly.

If firepower was the issue, then she just needed more of it! That way, she could definitely create a giant mushroom, right?

"Of course, by adding more gunpowder!" Jiang Chen explained. "When Klee makes bombs, they're usually small, right? What if you made them bigger? Imagine if Klee could create a bomb as large as a house—what do you think would happen?"

If Jean had heard this conversation, she would have lunged at Jiang Chen in a heartbeat.

What kind of dangerous nonsense are you teaching Klee?! A bomb as big as a house? Are you trying to blow Mondstadt off the map?!

But Klee's eyes only shone brighter at Jiang Chen's words.

"I... I really want that!!"

The moment Jiang Chen described it, the only thought in Klee's mind was: I have to make one!

Because such a bomb would be absolutely fantastic.

"Making a big bomb shouldn't be too hard for Klee," Jiang Chen continued, his voice almost devilish. "Just increase the gunpowder by ten times in your usual bombs, and you'll get an ultra-powerful bomb. That way, your firepower will be more than enough."

Klee listened intently, her mind now completely occupied with thoughts of big bombs.

If she really followed Jiang Chen's instructions, just how powerful would that bomb be?

As Jiang Chen led Klee through the streets, he continued explaining while she absorbed every word. For some reason, Klee felt an inexplicable trust in this "mushroom-planting" big brother.

"Besides increasing the gunpowder, you could also try making stronger explosives," Jiang Chen suggested. "By adding other alchemical materials to the gunpowder, you can improve its quality. The specifics will require Klee to experiment on her own. Once you've improved these aspects, planting mushrooms will be easy."

Klee nodded vigorously.

"I'll remember that! Thank you, Brother Jiang Chen! Brother Jiang Chen is a good person!!"

At this moment, Klee's impression of Jiang Chen reached an all-time high.

Brother Jiang Chen is the best!

She was absolutely determined to create the kind of bomb he had described.

The thought of being able to plant mushrooms herself made Klee's eyes gleam with excitement.

Seeing her like this, Jiang Chen couldn't help but smile.

The reason he had told Klee all this was that he genuinely believed she could pull it off.

As a child whose constellation was a four-leaf clover—a symbol of luck—Klee's experiments with materials would be like stacking buffs.

Alchemical research was all about combining different materials. With Klee's natural luck, she could probably stumble upon something incredible just by messing around.

"If Klee succeeds, remember to tell me," Jiang Chen said. "Maybe I can give you some more advice."

Klee nodded eagerly.

"Then I'll write letters to Brother Jiang Chen in the future!"

She spoke with utmost seriousness, already making up her mind.

Once she returned home and made progress, she would definitely write to Brother Jiang Chen about it.

"There's no need to go through all that trouble," Jiang Chen said with a smile. "Here, take this."

He handed Klee a few communication talismans.

"If you have anything to tell me, just channel elemental energy into this and quickly say what you want. I'll receive it right away. But for now, I only have a few of these, so use them sparingly."

Klee's eyes widened in delight.

There's something this convenient?!

She carefully examined the talismans. The symbols on them were completely incomprehensible to her, but they looked so cool!

With great care, Klee tucked them into her backpack.

These are precious gifts from Brother Jiang Chen. I'll hide them and not tell anyone else!

Pleased with herself, Klee grinned.

Seeing her like this, Jiang Chen simply smiled and said nothing more.

After giving her the talismans, he continued guiding Klee through Liyue Harbor.

Many passersby greeted Jiang Chen warmly when they saw him with a child in tow. He responded with smiles as he led Klee forward.

Since it was almost noon, he decided to take her for a meal.

Jiang Chen headed straight for Wanmin Restaurant.

It had been a while since his last visit, so today was a good opportunity to enjoy a meal there.

As usual, Wanmin Restaurant was bustling with activity.

But the moment Jiang Chen stepped inside, he spotted Hu Tao and the others.

Hu Tao was sitting with Xingqiu and the others, about to eat.

Seeing Xingqiu, Jiang Chen raised an eyebrow in surprise.

After being in Liyue for so long, I've finally run into the Hydro Archon of Liyue.

Hu Tao was the first to notice Jiang Chen.

Seeing him with a little girl, she was momentarily stunned.

Is this Jiang Chen's child?

No way, Jiang Chen's a single guy—where would he get a kid from?

"Jiang Chen! Over here!"

Hu Tao quickly stood up and waved at him, signaling for him to join them.

Hearing her call, Jiang Chen turned to Klee.

"Klee, let me introduce you to some friends."

With that, he led Klee toward their table.

Klee had already noticed Hu Tao standing up.

After a quick glance at a certain area of Hu Tao's body, Klee nodded to herself.

No Dodoking.

This sister is a good person!

Plus, this sister also had a Pyro Vision.

No Dodoking + Pyro Vision = A very good sister.

In an instant, Klee mentally awarded Hu Tao a "good person" card.
