"Haunter, give me a hand here!"
Haunter's eyes glowed faintly purple as she enveloped Su Feng in a psychic field, lightening his weight. With her help, he scaled the cliffside and collapsed onto a rocky ledge, gasping for air.
"Phew… That was tougher than I expected."
Peering over the edge at the 100-meter drop below, Su Feng shuddered. "Glad I brought you along, Haunter. That could've ended badly."
[Is this guy insane!? Free-climbing a cliff with no gear!?]
[I'm a pro climber—this is suicidal without chalk or ropes.]
[Bro's literally carrying Torchic and a backpack like it's nothing. He's gotta be part Pokémon.]
[Did Haunter just use telekinesis!?]
[Pause at 12:03—SU FENG'S ABS!!! New screensaver acquired.]
Su Feng glared at the chat. "Enough about my abs!"
In the distance, a tiny purple speck darted across the sky. "Torchic, can you make out what that is?"
"Chirp." Torchic shook its head.
[Where!? I don't see anything!]
[Enhanced screenshot shows a blurry purple figure. Dragonite?]
"Probably just a Flying-type," Su Feng shrugged before tackling the final stretch to the summit.
The mountaintop unveiled a hidden paradise: Skwovets scampered through pines, a Pidgeot dive-bombed into the forest, and a group of Machop lurked in the bushes, eyeing the intruder.
[That "chubby squirrel" is adorable!]
[Pidgeot's dive was SICK!]
[Wait—those kids in the grass… Are they LOST!?]
"Those 'kids' are Machop—Fighting-types. Don't let their size fool you. One could toss a grown man like a ragdoll." Su Feng pulled out a bag of Fighting-type Energy Blocks. "They're obsessed with training. Their muscles never fatigue, so they can workout 24/7."
[Machop's biceps are bigger than my future.]
[What about their evolution?]
"Meet Machoke and Machamp. Machamp has four arms and can throw 1,000 punches in two seconds." Su Feng grinned. "At 'three kills per punch,' that's 10,000 of you gone in a blink."
[I've made peace with my mortality.]
[So Machamp could wipe this chat in 0.2 seconds. Coolcoolcool.]
The Machop swarmed Su Feng, devouring the Energy Blocks with gusto. One smaller Machop hesitated when asked about Dragon-types but caved after Su Feng dangled another bag.
"Lead me to the Dragon-type, and this is yours."
The Machop's eyes lit up. Fortune favors the bold! It nodded fiercely.
