Chapter 95 - The Pokémon Academy and Pokémon League

"What is it? Let me see first," Su Feng said warily.

The System wasted no time. A holographic screen flashed, revealing a strange machine.

[Pokémon Egg Incubator! Automatically adjusts temperature based on the egg's type for optimal hatching! Guaranteed healthy Pokémon!]

[Not 10,000! Not 8,000! Yours today for just 998!]

"You're charging me 500,000 for an egg warmer!?" Su Feng nearly spat out his drink. "I could just toss the egg in my fridge and call it a day!"

[This is a specialized incubator! What if you find eggs of other types later?]

Su Feng waved dismissively. "Ice-type goes in the fridge. Fire-type? Throw it in the furnace. Everything else? I'll hatch it in my bed. Problem solved."

[...]

The System short-circuited. Unless Su Feng planned to open a daycare, this machine was useless. But it couldn't let this sale slip away.

[Wait! I'll discount it!]

"How much?" Su Feng feigned curiosity.

[888! Lucky number!]

"Hard pass." Su Feng gently closed the fridge door.

[You're supposed to haggle!]

"Haggle? Fine. Slash the price in half. 50 points."

If the System had a face, it'd be twitching. [That's not how haggling works!]

"Take it or leave it."

Su Feng leaned back on the couch, sipping cola.

[...Deal.] The System gritted its nonexistent teeth.

A sleek incubator materialized beside Su Feng. He smirked. Should've gone lower… Still, 50 points for a high-tech gadget was a steal.

Humming cheerfully, he transferred the ice-crusted egg from the fridge to the incubator. "What a wonderful day~"

The System: [...]

Later, Su Feng scrolled through his phone and paused at a trending headline: "Pokémon Protection Act Officially Enacted Today."

He smiled. After weeks of lobbying lawmakers and rallying public support, his efforts had paid off. Critics still existed, but the majority celebrated this milestone.

He dialed Old Chen.

"Congratulations, Xiao Feng!" Old Chen answered immediately, his voice booming. "Your dream is now law!"

"Couldn't have done it without your backing," Su Feng replied modestly.

After exchanging pleasantries, Su Feng cut to the chase. "Remember the Poké Ball Jin showed you?"

Old Chen's breath hitched. "The revolutionary capture device. What about it?"

"I want to hand its blueprints to you."

A clatter echoed from Old Chen's end—likely a dropped test tube. "What!?"

Su Feng chuckled. "Just send Jin to pick up the schematics. It's a few pages."

Old Chen steadied his voice. "Xiao Feng… the nation will remember this."

"One condition," Su Feng added. "Poké Balls must stay affordable. They're tools for everyone, not luxuries."

"Done. You set the price."

"And one more thing." Su Feng's tone turned serious. "I want to establish a Pokémon Academy."

"An academy?"

"To teach humans and Pokémon to coexist. Students trained here will become instructors themselves, spreading knowledge nationwide."

Old Chen didn't hesitate. "Approved. What else?"

Su Feng's eyes gleamed. "Once the academy thrives… I'll create the Pokémon League."
