Chapter 145 - Reunited with Old Friends

Of course, Su Feng hadn't forgotten his livestream audience.

The moment he turned on the broadcast, the chat erupted in despair.

[Why does luck never favor me?!]

[I'd pay to join Su Feng's class!]

[With millions entering, odds were brutal.]

[Salty. So salty.]

"I get it," Su Feng said, clapping his hands. "But don't worry—this is just a trial run. If it goes well, I'll open a full-fledged Pokémon Academy."

He gestured to the group. "Say hello, everyone!"

The winners had all consented to appearing on stream.

"Hi, everyone~!" A bubbly girl named Lin Man waved at the drone. A travel enthusiast with a Snivy partner, she was the most outgoing of the bunch.

"Never thought I'd be on the stream instead of watching it," mused Yao Tian, a tanned beekeeper with a Combee. His cheerful demeanor contrasted with his friend Li Na's deadpan:

"Do you want to get mobbed by jealous fans?"

The two quieter boys—classmates from the same city—murmured timid greetings.

[STAB ME WITH THAT SPEAR OF JEALOUSY!]

[OMG IT'S CHENG MENG! LAB COAT GODDESS!]

[Xiao Da's here too! Who's the hanfu loli beside her?]

[Someone arrest the creepy uncles in chat.]

[Gold Bro never misses an event lol.]

[Wait, that kid with the Eevee—from the stream?!]

Su Feng chuckled. "No redraws. Let's begin."

Xingdou Forest Outskirts

The bus halted at the tree line. "Can't go further, Mr. Su," the driver said.

"Perfect. We'll hike from here."

As the group disembarked, the forest's crisp air washed over them. Su Feng led the way toward a central lake—the same one from his debut stream months ago.

Blaziken strode ahead, nostalgia swelling in its chest. This was where it had been a helpless Torchic. Now, its mere presence sent wild Pokémon scurrying.

Thank you, it thought, glancing at Su Feng.

Lakeside Camp

"Set up your tents here," Su Feng instructed, unloading gear from Gengar's shadow. The high-tech shelters—system-bought—could fit three comfortably.

While the others worked, Su Feng approached the water's edge.

The lake was as pristine as he remembered. Then—

A flicker of movement beneath the surface.

Too fast for most eyes. But Su Feng smiled.

Still as elusive as ever.
