Synopsis
Darkness. Then light. A sharp inhale. [Welcome, User. Synchronizing Essence Data…] Alicia blinked, her vision blurring as neon-blue text flickered across her sight. It wasn’t a normal HUD. It was something more—something deeper. 【Essence of the Alchemist: Integrated】 【Essence of the Artificer: Integrated】 【Essence of the Binder: Integrated】 【Essence of the Broker: Integrated】 【Essence of the Crafter: Integrated】 【Essence of the Mad Doctor: Integrated】 【Essence of the Merchant: Integrated】 【Essence of the Pocket Dimensional Farm: Integrated】 【Essence of the Pocket Dimensional Mine: Integrated】 【Essence of the Spark: Integrated】 A rush of knowledge flooded her brain—science, chemistry, engineering, all meshing seamlessly with her own understanding. But that wasn't the only thing filling her mind. Memories—her memories. A past life she hadn't lived yet. No contradiction, no disconnect. Her personality remained untouched, as if she had always been this Alicia. Then, reality hit her like a freight train. "Alicia! Sweetheart, you need to get ready," Aunt May’s voice filtered through the door, soft but carrying the weight of sorrow. "The funeral is starting soon." Funeral? The moment she thought it, the knowledge locked in her new mind unlocked itself. Uncle Ben was gone. Shot. Dead. Her breath hitched as she sat up, heart pounding against her ribs. A creak at the door caught her attention. Peter. He stood there, rigid, a fragile mask of restraint barely holding back his guilt. His red-rimmed eyes, the way he clenched his fists—it was all too much. Alicia swallowed. This was 2011. She was early. She was here before Peter fully became Spider-Man. Before everything spiraled out of control. And that meant she could help him. She could help all of them.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 01: Compassion for a Broken Heart

Alicia Parker silently observes her brother as he enters their bedroom through the window as his patrol ends. She watches him carefully and attentively remove his costume while trying not to make a sound from the pain. It likely needs to be washed if those marks are actually bloodstains, which means he is likely hurt very badly. To be honest, she really wants to help him right now, but she knows that she can speak with him in the morning.

"Good night, Peter." She tells him in a warm but drowsy tone, earning a long pause as his eyes meet hers for several moments. He realizes that she has left him the lower bunk, almost like she knew he was going to be hurt tonight.

He silently frowns as he realizes that she isn't going to tattle on him for some reason, and it makes him very confused. "Okay, good night to you too. We'll talk in the morning, Ducky." Peter tells her softly in genuine appreciation and affection as he takes a few moments to hide his costume.

"Hm-kay…" Having stayed up waiting for him to safely return made her very drowsy since there is little that she can do to stay awake here at night. So the moment after she gives her agreement her mind is already resting as peacefully as she can. At least, as peacefully as she can with the knowledge that her brother will survive the wounds he has on him. Peter turns toward her to observe her more before he realizes that she has already fallen asleep.

He can't help the brotherly smile full of love that he gives her. Striding over to her, he gently rubs her head, earning a soft pleased sound as she subconsciously leans into his hand. Bending down, he gives her forehead a gentle, loving kiss as her most trusted person. Leaning back to observe her frown finally relaxed in her sleep, he chuckles softly. "Alicia, you will always be my baby sister. I just hope that there is never a day that you get dragged into my hectic duties." He tells her softly before he pulls himself away as he gets in his own bed for rest.

The next morning Alicia wakes up early yawning tiredly, she looks at her brother's bed to find him stitching up his wounds. Once he is finished with the last wound, she softly greets him in a warm tone, "Peter, have you had breakfast?" She slowly sits up on the top bunk, stretching her limbs out as she is fully aware that she needs to get ready for her day.

He solemnly looks up at her, lips trembling in guilt as he likely is remembering that he accidentally caused Uncle Ben's death. "I need to tell you the truth…" he says in a mostly neutral yet watery tone.

"Uncle Ben would never blame you for his death, Peter. And I am sure that Aunt May agrees with Ben and I on this matter. You may have made a mistake, but you have learned responsibility from the accident. Not even Mom or dad would blame you for any part of it at all." Taking a deep breath as she knows exactly how much he needs the support. It takes her a moment to climb down before she turns toward him and his teary gaze filled with disbelief.

Moving closer, she uses her hands to gently hold his face in her direction. Wiping his tears with her thumbs, she gives him a look of complete determination. "You never pulled the trigger, so you didn't cause it. Sure, you could have prevented it if you knew, but neither of us are all knowing. In fact, you are going to make him proud already just by calling yourself Spiderman. And that is fair enough, Ben would be so very proud of you protecting people with that powerful responsibility you have."

She wraps him up in a warm and tender hug, knowing that he seems to know she is being utterly truthful with him. She can tell from the way he firmly grasps her body, holding her closely as he begins sobbing his broken heart out. She barely holds her tears in as well, remembering the good times they had with him in the past.

"Thank you so very much, Alicia." He tells her tearfully as he holds her as closely as she can get.

To their surprise the doorbell rings out loudly, causing them both to wonder who is at the door downstairs. Peter gently releases her as he goes to wipe his tears and snot off of himself. Making her way downstairs and to the front door, she looks through the lower peep hole. She grins happily as she finds Ned patiently waiting.

"Ned, I need you to help with some questionable plans…" she tells him with a sly grin full of mischief. "My brother and I need at least one trustworthy person we can plan tech with." She quickly drags him to the kitchen where Peter has started eating his portion. She quietly begins eating her breakfast sandwich that Peter pulls out for her. Despite being slightly hungry, she gently motions for Peter to have the other one. They quietly eat, leaving Ned visibly nervous from the request that Alicia has given him.

After finishing briefly, she turns to look toward the two males that are almost ready to start discussions. "First of all, we need a base of operations. I have two of these, a farm and a mine. For now, have Ned working to produce some kind of communication device that we can give you Police emergencies to go to from the police radio. I need to start working on producing a much sturdier suit than Peter's costume." Peter looks absolutely embarrassed by her mention of his costume before she somehow disappears into thin air right in front of them.

Looking at the space she has suddenly disappeared from, Ned fidgets. "So, she is safe wherever she is going, right?" Peter takes a moment to nod.

"She is likely either a teleporter, or those two properties are in pocket dimensions. I think the latter is correct." Ned nods in complete and total agreement with his idea.

Looking at each other briefly, Ned gives him a confused look. "What is this Questionable Plan that you need help with?" Peter pauses mid stride, somehow realizing that she has left him to explain his abilities to Ned without help.

Groaning in disappointment, he rubs his face with both of his hands before he quickly slaps his face twice on both sides. "Alright, I can do this. Ned, I was bitten by a radioactive spider at Oscorp Industries when we went on the field trip. It gave me spider-like powers." Flipping upside-down, he sets his feet on the ceiling and watches Ned's ecstatic reaction to his reality as a potential superhero.
