By the time the trio had returned to Cordelia's office, Atlas had begun a word-for-word and verbatim report to Cordelia of everything that had happened in the past half day.
After half an hour of explanation and Atlas exaggerating some of the things, Cordelia was beginning to get a clearer picture of the depth of the danger.
The thickness of what was going on was really dangerous. The fact that they hadn't yet killed every one of the worshippers of demons and angels and that they didn't know if such a thing would happen in the future, in a populous city or elsewhere, worried even the ancient woman herself for a brief moment.
Still, there was nothing to do now. Except, of course, to get information.
Even if Cordelia hadn't been overly concerned, Atlas's words and the little bit of information he had given her about the 'great war' made her realise that they needed to prepare.
