Waldo suddenly released Regina's lips and looked down at her. He saw the mocking gleam in her eyes as she stared at him indifferently. The feeling was as if she regarded him as a joke.
"Regina, it's useless..." Waldo sneered coldly and said slowly, "…No matter what you do, as long as I don't let go, you can't escape!"
As he finished speaking, Waldo once again pressed his lips to Regina's.
And those words, like a curse, followed Regina. It wasn't until much later, when she desperately tried to escape, but found she couldn't break free from his control, that she finally believed—this man… would be the nightmare of her life. One she couldn't shake off, couldn't escape from, and could only be entangled with in a cycle of mutual vengeance.
The car drove steadily along the road, with the sound of passing vehicles occasionally rushing by. Regina closed her eyes, and a single teardrop slid down her face. Her heart trembled with the humiliation of it all.
