Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: The Grand Plan

Early the next morning, when Fang Yi woke up, the system's store had already been updated.

So after washing up, he didn't rush out. Instead, he sat on the edge of the bed and opened the system's store.

In addition to the items he already had before, there were many more things in the store. The first thing Fang Yi saw was the lottery tickets:

"Ten lottery tickets: 1,900 points (one purchase limit per day)!"

"Random skill: 5,000 points (one purchase limit)"

"Physical Inheritance: 10,000 points (one purchase limit)"

"Strength Inheritance: 10,000 points (one purchase limit)"

"Agility Inheritance: 10,000 points (one purchase limit)"

One lottery ticket cost 200 points, and ten cost 1,900 points, which was 100 points cheaper.

Moreover, these limited - purchase items were all good things, which made Fang Yi extremely envious.

If he had known that he could upgrade the store with 10,000 points, he wouldn't have bought so many lottery tickets. As a result, he didn't win anything, and he wasted his points.

Now the number of points he had was 10,772!

He could choose to buy one of the inheritances priced at 10,000 points, and he could also buy a random skill, and then he would still have 5,000 points left.

Needless to say, he definitely wanted to buy all these one - time purchase items. The question was what to buy first?

After careful consideration for a while, Fang Yi hesitated between the random skill and the Physical Inheritance.

The random skill was cheaper. After buying it, he would still have 5,000 points left. However, its drawback was obvious, which was that it was random.

Fang Yi couldn't guarantee whether this random skill would be useful to him. What if he got a life - related skill? He would really have nowhere to cry.

The Physical Inheritance was more straightforward. He was in urgent need of physical strength now, so exchanging for a Physical Inheritance could greatly enhance his endurance.

In the end, Fang Yi still chose to buy the Physical Inheritance. It wasn't that the skill wasn't good, but that physical strength was more helpful to him at present. After all, his new AOE skill, Flame Dragon Blasting, required a large amount of physical strength to support it.

Without physical strength, even if he got more skills, he couldn't use them.

After that familiar pain passed, Fang Yi smiled wryly and clenched his fist to feel the changes in his body. This thing was good in every way, but it was just too painful to consume each time.

After taking a short rest, Fang Yi came out of the room. At this time, Wangzai was already waiting for him on the deck.

Since Fang Yi needed to develop a tacit understanding with Wangzai, he spent time with Wangzai every day. If his room wasn't too small, he would even want to move Wangzai's kennel into his room.

"Xiaoyi, Mr. Rayleigh wants you to come over!" Just as Fang Yi was practicing shooting arrows on the move with Wangzai, suddenly, a crew member shouted at him.

"Okay! I'll go right away!" Hearing this, Fang Yi patted Wangzai's head and told it to go rest by itself, then he walked towards the cabin.

"Xiaoyi is here? Sit down!

In the cabin's dining room, Rayleigh, Roger, and Jaba were sitting there talking. When they saw Fang Yi, they all greeted him.

"Captain, Mr. Rayleigh, Teacher Jaba! Is there something going on?" Fang Yi asked curiously after sitting down.

"Right! There's an important task for you to handle now!" Rayleigh nodded, glanced at Jaba, and replied.

"Me?" Fang Yi was taken aback. Then he looked at Jaba, whose face looked a bit off, and asked Rayleigh in confusion, "What is it?"

Rayleigh grinned mischievously, glanced at Jaba, then leaned over to Fang Yi's ear and whispered something.

"Is... is this for real?" Fang Yi looked utterly incredulous after hearing what Rayleigh said. He stared wide - eyed at Jaba and asked.

"Cough... Well... I have no idea!" Jaba rarely showed an embarrassed expression and said somewhat uneasily.

"What do you mean no idea? Besides you two and those three kids, who on the ship doesn't know?" Rayleigh rolled his eyes and said.

"Well... I never noticed before! Rayleigh, you'd better not get this wrong, or things will be a huge mess!" Roger beside them said cautiously.

Rayleigh sighed, feeling really exhausted talking to these guys.

"I see. So Teacher Jaba's aim... is to confirm this, right?" Fang Yi said with a faint smile, "But Mr. Rayleigh thinks there's no need to confirm and we should just take action!"

Rayleigh nodded and said, "Right! You get it way better than these two guys!"

"Well... How about we do it like this... this... and then this?" Fang Yi rolled his eyes and grinned slyly.

"Great! I think it's a good plan!" Roger clapped his hands and laughed immediately after hearing it.

Rayleigh thought it over and didn't object, but Jaba seemed a bit troubled.

"Stop looking so miserable. Fang Yi's plan is good! Let's go with this plan!" Rayleigh glared at Jaba and said.

"But... what if she sees through it? I really don't have the confidence to deceive her!" Jaba sighed and said.

"Deceive? Why do we need to deceive?" Fang Yi took out a pill from his pocket and put it on the table. "This is the most important thing in my plan! Teacher Jaba... if you've really made up your mind, just take it. Once you do, then... there's no turning back!"

Fang Yi's words stunned the three of them. Especially Roger and Rayleigh, who looked at Fang Yi seriously.

It turned out that the reason they called him here was quite simple. Jaba felt that his feelings for Yamon were a bit different, so he asked Rayleigh and Roger about it.

He might have been better off not asking. When he did, Rayleigh almost punched him.

Everyone on the ship could tell that there was something special between him and Yamon. The problem was that the two parties involved were completely oblivious, which made the onlookers like them extremely anxious.

So, in response to Jabba's plea for help, Rayleigh's solution was simple: just lay it all out on the table, and things would sort themselves out naturally.

However, Jabba and Roger were both stunned. They truly felt nothing. Roger, in particular, looked like he was thinking, "Why does everyone else know, but I don't?" This made Rayleigh want to kick him.

Jabba was even more skeptical. Since he wasn't sure about the situation himself, why did Rayleigh seem so certain?

So, they finally brought Fang Yi in. After all, as the disciple of Jabba and Yamon, he could see things more clearly. Moreover, Fang Yi needed to gauge Yamon's feelings.

After learning the ins and outs of the matter, Fang Yi gave a suggestion. When they reached the next island, Jabba should pretend to be poisoned and need someone to cure him. As for the cure... well, it had to be a bit intimate.

Then, they could jump out and egg them on... and settle the matter between the two.

According to Fang Yi, if Teacher Yamon wasn't interested in Teacher Jabba, she naturally wouldn't help him. But if she had feelings for him, it wouldn't be a big deal!

Through this plan, it could meet Roger and Jabba's demand to test Yamon's feelings. It could also meet Rayleigh's demand to take direct action and settle the matter.

However, when Fang Yi actually took out the poison, all three of them thought... maybe they didn't need to go this far!

What if Yamon refused? Would Jabba really have to die?

"Don't worry... this medicine won't actually kill you. It'll just make you show some symptoms of poisoning!" Fang Yi explained with a smile.

After hearing his explanation, the three of them quietly let out a sigh of relief.

However, Jabba still had some concerns. He didn't want to deceive Yamon, but he didn't have a better solution, so he finally agreed to follow Fang Yi's plan.

After the four of them finished negotiating, Fang Yi left the cabin and went to Yamon's room. Not long after, he found the ship's doctor and whispered some instructions to him.

It seemed even the heavens were on his side. That afternoon, they spotted an uninhabited island.

"Jabba, take Xiao Yi to scout the way first! We'll follow after we've sorted things out!" Seeing that the time was right, Roger and Rayleigh exchanged a look and then pretended to say casually to Jabba and Fang Yi.

"Great. I've been practicing with Wangzai for so long. This is a good chance to try hunting and see how it goes!" Fang Yi took out his bow and arrow and said with a smile.

"Gulp... Well... okay then!" Jabba, wearing his sunglasses, quietly glanced at the unsuspecting Yamon, swallowed hard, nodded, and replied.

"I'll go too!" Bucky and Shanks also wanted to go scouting, but Rayleigh grabbed them back and said, "You two, behave yourselves. It's just scouting. Do we need so many people? Leave it to Xiao Yi and Jabba! We'll set off later. Now, go and organize the supplies for me!"

Of course, he wouldn't let Shanks and Bucky ruin their plan.

Not long after getting off the ship, Jaba nervously pulled Fang Yi and asked, "Xiaoyi, what should I do if Yamon chooses not to save me?"

Fang Yi said with a strange look, "Well... Mr. Jaba... I think... Well... You can't just wait for Teacher Yamon to save you! You have to come up with some reasons to make him willing to save you, right?"

Jaba was stunned. He really hadn't thought about this before. So he looked at Fang Yi in a daze and asked, "Then what reasons should I come up with?"

"For example... a formal confession or so! Anyway, as a man, you have to show your feelings first, and then see what Teacher Yamon chooses. If she doesn't know your feelings, how could she agree?" Fang Yi said, guiding him patiently.

"But... I don't know myself! Originally, I just wanted to ask Rayleigh and Captain Roger about it. Who would have thought it would turn out like this?" Jaba said helplessly.

"Well... just say what you really think in your heart. Anyway, it's better to say it than not say it!" Fang Yi looked at Jaba meaningfully and said.
