Chapter 50 - Chapter 50: When Legends Seek the Future

Hiruzen Assigns a New Mission

As the meeting with the Hokage neared its end, Sarutobi Hiruzen slowly exhaled a long stream of smoke, his gaze filled with deep contemplation as he looked at Satoru.

"Satoru, I have a new mission for you."

Satoru blinked, curiosity flickering in his eyes as he looked at the Hokage.

"What mission, sir?"

Hiruzen smiled, tapping his fingers lightly on the desk before speaking in a calm tone.

"I want you to teach the Observation Haki technique to a special ANBU unit."

"They need to enhance their ability to sense killing intent, ambush tactics, and assassination techniques. This will be a great advantage for Konoha."

Satoru's eyes gleamed with excitement.

"This is a golden opportunity!"

He maintained a composed expression, but internally, he was jumping with joy.

"If I train ANBU, the system will definitely count this as a high-level mission!"

"Bonus points! New skills! A chance to get stronger!!"

More than that, if ANBU learned Haki from him, his importance within the village would increase significantly.

"Not bad at all!"

Satoru bowed, his voice filled with unwavering conviction.

"Hokage-sama, I will carry out this mission to the best of my ability!"

Hiruzen nodded slightly, his gaze showing a hint of admiration.

"I trust you."

Then, he turned to Eren, his sharp eyes still carrying an observant look.

"As for you, Eren…"

"I suggest you follow Satoru for now."

"You may not have chakra, but the energy inside you is far from ordinary."

"Satoru is an excellent teacher; perhaps you can learn a great deal from him."

Eren looked at the Hokage, his usual emotionless expression remaining.

"…I understand."

He didn't object, though he didn't seem particularly interested either.

Hiruzen smiled slightly.

"That's good to hear. You may go."

### A Meeting with Legends

As they stepped out of the Hokage's office, Satoru suddenly felt an immensely powerful presence approaching.

"Wait… this chakra… it's absolutely insane!"

Looking up, he immediately saw two figures walking toward them.

**Jiraiya – The Legendary Sannin.**

**Minato Namikaze – The Genius of Konoha.**

Jiraiya was towering and imposing, standing like a mountain, his signature red outfit and wooden sandals producing rhythmic clacks with each step.

His presence carried an invisible pressure, not just from his massive chakra reserves, but from his experience, power, and the confidence of a top-tier warrior.

Minato walked beside him, slightly shorter than Jiraiya but just as striking.

His sharp yet warm blue eyes gave off an air of friendliness, yet no one would dare underestimate him.

Satoru looked up… and realized something extremely important.

"I'm the shortest guy here."

Jiraiya: 191 cm (with the advantage of wooden sandals!)

Minato: 179 cm

Eren: 183 cm

Satoru: 177 cm

A long pause.

"Damn it, I'm growing at an accelerated rate and I'm still the shortest one here!"

"My One Piece physique will definitely make me taller… it's just a matter of time!!"

Jiraiya: **"This kid… he's not normal."**

Jiraiya studied the two figures standing before him, a spark of intrigue appearing in his eyes.

He crossed his arms, smirking.

"Yo, kids. Well, well…"

Then his gaze settled on Eren.

A flash of doubt flickered across the rugged features of the legendary Sannin.

"Who's this kid? He looks… out of place."

"No chakra… doesn't move like a taijutsu specialist… but…"

"There's something very off about him."

Minato smiled, nodding at Satoru.

"This is Satoru, a teacher at the Ninja Academy. I've only met him recently, but Hokage-sama mentioned him. I hear he has quite the talent."

Jiraiya slowly assessed Satoru.

His gaze wasn't casual; it was the sharp, scrutinizing look of a seasoned warrior capable of seeing through one's true potential.

"Hmm, let's see here…"

"Lightning and Fire affinity. Not bad. Also, some kind of rare swordsmanship combined with high-level taijutsu. Chakra flow is well-regulated in his network. Judging by his muscle density and skin quality…"

"Kid, did you consume some kind of body-refining elixir to rejuvenate yourself?"

"Hoh? Am I right? The Perverted Sage never misses!"

Satoru felt a chill run down his spine.

"As expected, the eyes of the Legendary Sannin aren't just for show."

"He saw right through me."

"Maybe that's the wisdom of a battle-hardened master."

But…

What made Satoru even more tense…

Was Minato's gaze.

Minato was staring directly at Eren, his eyes slightly narrowed, a hint of caution evident.

"Who is this person?"

"He has no chakra, but…"

"From my sensory perception as a ninja, the energy inside him… is extremely dangerous."

Minato glanced at Satoru, his voice calm but firm.

"Satoru… introduce him to us."

Satoru cleared his throat, preparing to weave his story.

"This is Eren. A friend of mine."

"He's the last surviving member of the **Yosei Clan**. He doesn't have chakra, but he possesses a unique Kekkei Genkai related to survival."

"Right now, he's a complete novice, unable to control any of his abilities."

Jiraiya frowned slightly.

"A Kekkei Genkai that doesn't require chakra?"

"And it's related to survival?"

A peculiar light glimmered in his eyes.

"This kid… could he be…?"

Jiraiya narrowed his eyes, carefully observing Eren for a long moment.

**The Prophecy…**

**The special child, the one who could change the world…**

**Could it be him?**

For years, Jiraiya had been searching for the prophesied child. He once believed it was Nagato, but nothing was certain yet.

However, the thought passed quickly. After all, Kekkei Genkai was not exactly a rare occurrence in the ninja world.

Meanwhile, Eren stood silently.

He didn't fully understand the conversation, but he could feel the sharp eyes scrutinizing him.

A slight irritation crept up inside him.

"They're evaluating me… just like Marley evaluated the Eldians."

Eren clenched his fists slightly but remained quiet.

Minato continued pondering.

And Jiraiya…

He chuckled, his eyes twinkling with excitement.

"Well, well…"

"This is going to be interesting!"
