Chapter 92 - Chapter 92: Battle of the Legendary Eyes – Shisui vs. Tokuma Hyuga

Western Forest – Ten Character Seal Axis

Morning light filtered through the leaves, casting a soft glow on the dew still clinging to the grass. Birds chirped above, harmonizing with the gentle murmur of a nearby stream. The scene was peaceful—eerily so. But amidst the calm, two figures had already come face to face.

On one side stood Tokuma Hyuga, his Byakugan eyes cold and sharp, locked onto his opponent—a boy four years his junior, yet harboring a kekkei genkai no less fearsome than his own.

Opposite him stood Shisui Uchiha, only six years old, yet his gaze was unnervingly calm. His crimson Sharingan glowed like twin rubies in the forest light—silent, but deadly.

Both had noticed the Ten Character Axis resting on a stone pillar in the center of a shallow stream. It was sealed—only one person could unlock it by touch.

"Only one of us can take it."

Their eyes clashed. No words were spoken, but both understood each other's intent.

"You want it? Then you'll have to go through me first!"

They lunged forward simultaneously—the battle between two dojutsu had begun.

Byakugan vs. Sharingan – Clash of the Eyes

Swish!

Kunai tore through the air—Tokuma struck first, hurling three kunai straight at Shisui!

Shisui didn't flinch. His eyes shifted slightly—

POP!

He vanished.

"So fast!"

Tokuma widened his eyes. But with the Byakugan, he could still track Shisui's every move!

He spun around, launching a backward kick—

WHAM!

Shisui had reappeared behind him—but just barely dodged Tokuma's kick in time.

They both retreated, standing face-to-face again. Their sharp gazes analyzed each other's every move.

Reading the Opponent

"This kid… he's insanely fast," Tokuma scowled.

He was four years older—this should've been an easy fight. But from their very first exchange, he knew: Shisui was no ordinary child.

"If he gets in close, I'm screwed."

He dropped his stance low, channeling chakra into his palms.

"Byakugan—Activate!"

BOOM!

Chakra surged around Tokuma as his Byakugan opened wide. With 360-degree vision, he could track every flicker of Shisui's movement.

"No matter how fast you are, against the Byakugan… you can't hide."

Shisui narrowed his eyes—and smiled.

"Is that so?"

And then—

WHOOSH!

He disappeared again.

Juken vs. Shunshin – Precision vs. Speed

Tokuma clenched his fists. His eyes darted across the battlefield.

"Left? No—behind!"

WHOOSH!

He spun and struck out with a Juken palm—straight at where Shisui had appeared!

WHAM!

But—nothing.

"An illusion? No way!"

CRACK!

A powerful kick slammed into his side, sending Tokuma flying!

He scrambled to his feet, eyes wide.

"I saw him move forward… So why did the hit come from the right?!"

Shisui stepped forward slowly, Sharingan still calm—unshaken by the battle.

"I'm not so fast that you can't see me."

"But if you see me… and still can't react—what does that say?"

Tokuma shivered. Doubt crept into his chest.

"No… Impossible! I have the Byakugan! I shouldn't be fooled like this!"

With a roar, he dashed forward, launching a flurry of Juken strikes!

BAM! BAM! BAM!

But Shisui dodged every single one.

Each strike missed him by millimeters—but none landed.

And then—

WHAM!

Tokuma froze.

The world around him vanished—replaced by total darkness.

He opened his eyes wide—panic rising.

"What… what's going on?! I can't see anything!"

Suddenly—

Invisible hands began to pull him down into the void.

"No… NO! I won't lose like this!"

BOOM!

A massive shockwave shattered the illusion—Tokuma gasped and opened his eyes.

He was kneeling on the forest floor.

"Huh…? What just happened?!"

He looked around. The forest was… normal.

No darkness. No hands. Nothing.

"Wait—"

He looked up—and saw Shisui standing before him, holding the Ten Character Axis.

Shisui stared down—not arrogant, not mocking—just perfectly calm.

"You've lost."

Tokuma was speechless.

He couldn't even remember what had just happened… Only that—

The battle had ended long ago.

Shisui had already won.

End of the Battle

Tokuma clenched his fists, biting his lip.

"I lost… to a kid four years younger than me…"

But then—he let out a deep breath, and slowly stood.

He gave a small bow toward Shisui.

"You're stronger than me. I admit it."

Shisui nodded slightly, then vanished into the forest, the scroll in hand.

Tokuma stood there, watching the boy's silhouette disappear among the trees.

"Uchiha Shisui…"

"That one… is truly dangerous."
