Chapter 12 - Sky Porcus Roar

As the youngest son of the Giollamhuire family, who is part of the elite with many businesses in various fields, it is no surprise that Raibeart can do many things with his money. However, renting a Private Ward just to keep his classmate there longer feels like quite an eccentric act.

As a "realistic" doctor willing to do anything for money, Reed never expected to face a situation like this. At first, he didn't care much. But, as he examined it little by little, the reality began to emerge, sending chills down his spine.

"Who are you really, young man?" the man asked. He was standing beside the bed where Hanasta's unconscious body lay, looking at him in disbelief.

Apart from the peculiarity that he resembled Allerick Gildas despite coming from the slums area of Sylvaine Macarena—which is impossible—there were many other strange things about his body that he only realized after undergoing more intensive examinations.

When he was first admitted, his blood test results seemed normal. But when he compared them with the latest blood test results, something had changed in its composition, and it couldn't be explained.

"His blood cell regeneration is too fast. There are foreign proteins and genetic structures that differ from Mavka Caliginous in general. Most frighteningly, every time his blood type is tested, the results come out differently. As if he possesses all types of blood within one body."

He sighed in confusion.

"If my guess is correct, the usual medication for Mavka Caliginous won't work on his body."

Initially excited by the discovery of new research material, he suddenly felt a shiver of fear. Is it alright to keep a Mavka Caliginous with special conditions like Hanasta Giollanaebhin without telling anyone?

He glanced out the hospital window, seeing the Allerick Gildas wandering around their surroundings for reasons unknown.

"Especially when those sky pigs are here."

His life could become a mess until he was caught doing something like this to a middle school student. But it could get even messier when he realized the oddities in that teenager and didn't report it to higher authorities. Especially since all this time, Special Proctor Gildas and the elite area in Sylvaine Macarena existed to eliminate threats to the absolute power of Empyrean Zielle.

He turned his back to the window. Crouching down, he ruffled his hair. "First of all, I have to keep all reports about this child's oddities a secret from others. That way, my deal with Raibeart can continue. At least until I get my money.

"But if the undesired happens and those sky pigs find out about this oddity… I will do anything to shift the blame onto someone else."

"Your name is Reed, right?"

THUMP. The heart of the 40-year-old man felt like it would burst when he heard someone else's voice in the room. His face lifted. He gaped at someone on the bed.

Hanasta didn't see the man. His eyes were fixed on the ceiling of the room. "No need to be afraid."

"WHO ARE YOU REALLY?!" the man asked, rising to his feet and pointing angrily to repress his fear.

Finally, the teenager turned to him. Calmly he said, "Release the handcuffs binding my hands and feet. After that, I will tell you everything."

The room of the principal of Special Proctor Gildas Middle School.

The green military uniform of Vienetas Vlatka indicated that his rank wasn't very high. However, even Allerick Gildas, with the lowest position in Empyrean Zielle, held a higher status than the richest and most honorable Mavka Caliginous in Sylvaine Macarena.

It was truly a rotten system in this new universe. But, no one could oppose it. Because the Allerick Gildas were loved and blessed by Remeant Bumi Universe, unlike those who were discarded by miracles.

"You... You can't do that, Mr. Babette!" The Headmaster insisted, slightly raising the tone of his voice. "What will the parents of the students do once they find out about your actions? How could the Special Proctor Gildas students, raised and educated to serve Allerick Gildas, plan something like that?"

Despite the lengthy debate, Cressida still seemed indifferent. "How dare a livestock like you contradict your owner?"

The Headmaster swallowed hard. He straightened up, gripping the arm of the sofa more firmly. That statement was not wrong at all. All this time, they had indeed been willing to flatter the inhabitants of the sky for a comfortable life in this already ruined land.

Even so... he had never imagined a situation like this would occur.

Cressida rested his elbows on his knees and brought his palms together. "Maintaining a conducive situation in the elite territory is your duty. Until we find the suspicious party, this hell will not end."

"…"

"Curse your own state for being abandoned by the wonders of the stars."

Meanwhile, in the queue of students. The sky had darkened further, but they were not allowed to rest at all. Everyone was still forced to stand despite being extremely exhausted, and some had already fainted. Armed Saighdear Ēnsiger were monitoring everyone's movements.

Raibeart desperately wanted to ask about the situation and embrace Solielle, who was trembling in fear as she came out of the interrogation room. However, the students who had been interrogated were to be taken back to their respective classes, which were also monitored by the Saighdear Ēnsiger.

What happened to Solielle increased the tension in the atmosphere. They even dared to do that to a member of one of the clans of the leader of the High Council of Cosmotellurian, Sylvaine Macarena?

"This is insane… this is insane… this is insane… we are all going to die…"

The student standing in front of Raibeart couldn't stop shivering while biting their nails.

"Calm down. The situation is indeed bad, but it will get worse if they see you like this," whispered Raibeart trying to reassure. He was tired of seeing his schoolmates being treated harshly by the soldiers of the Vienetas Vlatka.

"Raibeart, are you going to report what we are experiencing right now to your family? They are one of the most influential business families in Sylvaine Macarena, right?" asked the student without turning around.

Raibeart let out a short sigh, huff. "Did you not see what Solielle just went through?" he asked, trying to end a conversation that could be dangerous if overheard by that Saighdear Ēnsiger. At the same time, hiding the painful fact about who his family would defend in all matters related to Empyrean Zielle.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!"

A terrifying scream once again echoed from the interrogation room. No one was surprised anymore. But the door opened as a student emerged, handcuffed and shackled, successfully capturing everyone's attention.

"I'M INNOCENT! I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG! LISTEN TO ME! I DON'T WANT TO GO TO JAIL, SIR! HELP! HELP!!!" he shouted while writhing. His eyes were wide with fear. His face was wet with sweat and tears. His hair was disheveled. And he was panting as if he had just gone through something worse than death.

Raibeart felt the air around them tightening. Some students seemed to bow their heads deeply, trying to avoid eye contact with Georgiy or the Saighdear Ēnsiger. A few appeared to be biting their lips or clenching the sleeves of their uniforms tightly, trying to keep their bodies from trembling.

The situation was dire; everyone knew that. But it seemed far, far, far more dangerous than they could imagine.

"Walk properly or we will hang you upside down in the field!" commanded a Saighdear Ēnsiger while hitting the student's back, thud.

Georgiy's body jolted forward from the blow. His knees were almost giving way. He stumbled because of the handcuffs, but the soldiers pushed him roughly to keep moving.

Raibeart was starting to struggle to maintain his composure. After all, he was the only student who had been treated like this. Why? What was going on? What happened?

Recalling that he had recently been in contact with Georgiy to pressure Hanasta. What if that kid spoke up and dragged his name into it?

Imagining himself being humiliated like a criminal in front of all the other students. Even without knowing what major offense he had committed to deserve such treatment. All of this felt somewhat...

"Next student, Raibeart Giollamhuire!"
