Late-Night Hunger Strikes
After their midnight turf match, the team dragged themselves back to the dorms, sweaty and exhausted.
Taro flopped onto the couch in the common room.
"I think I used up all my energy… I can't move…"
Hiroki leaned against the wall, panting.
"Same… Someone carry me to my room."
Kazu, still catching his breath, sat up suddenly.
"Wait—"
"I'M HUNGRY."
Silence.
Then—
"SAME!"
"Me too!"
"Bro, I could eat an entire cow right now!"
Renji, sitting calmly with a towel around his neck, raised an eyebrow.
"You guys should've thought about that before running around like lunatics."
Shun leaned against the wall, arms crossed.
"There's still instant noodles in the kitchen, right?"
Kazu froze.
Taro gasped.
"OH NO."
"WE RAN OUT!"
A wave of panic spread through the room.
"No noodles?!"
"What are we supposed to eat?!"
"Is this how we die?!"
Hiroki clutched his stomach dramatically.
"Shun… if I don't make it… tell my family I fought bravely."
Shun sighed, rubbing his forehead.
"Calm down. There's still bread and eggs in the fridge—"
Taro immediately stood up.
"LET'S COOK!"
The Kitchen Disaster
The team stormed the kitchen like it was a battlefield.
Kazu grabbed a frying pan.
Taro found the eggs.
Hiroki held a loaf of bread like it was a sacred treasure.
"Alright, men. We have the supplies. Let's make something edible."
Renji sat on the counter, watching the chaos unfold.
"This is going to be a disaster."
Shun nodded.
"Agreed."
Taro cracked an egg—badly. Half of it landed in the pan, the other half on the stove.
"Oops."
Kazu tried flipping a slice of bread—it flew across the room and hit Shun in the face.
"Hey! Watch it!"
Hiroki somehow set off the smoke alarm.
"HOW?! WE'RE JUST MAKING EGGS!"
Renji sighed, getting up.
"Move. I'll cook."
The team stepped back, watching as Renji expertly fried eggs, toasted bread, and even made tea.
Within minutes, plates of food were placed in front of them.
Silence.
Then—
"Renji… I love you."
"Marry me."
"This is the best meal I've ever had."
Renji shook his head, sighing.
"You guys are hopeless."
Shun took a bite and smirked.
"Yeah. But at least we have a chef now."
Everyone laughed, the night ending with full stomachs and a little more chaos.
