Caleb arrives in a completely black suit. He has on sunglasses and a black necktie. "I'm here to take you to the soul room, also known as the recharging station" Caleb says this seriously because it's part of protocol. "You normally don't talk like this Caleb" Rudius says this in a nervous tone. "It's protocol, can't change that even if we're in the same squad" Caleb says this nonchalantly. Caleb then begins to walk and Rudius follows behind him.
They arrived at the soul room. "All these souls, it's a feast" Bob says this in Rudius' mind, he is stopping himself from drooling. Rudius also starts to act up because he hasn't consumed any souls for this month yet, he want's to hurry up before he loses control of his body. "how many do you need?" Caleb asks this, boredom is present on his face but he still has to go along with protocol. "five" Rudius says this in a low voice, he's still in disbelief that he actually have to consume human souls. Caleb proceeds to type in the amount of souls required on the system notifying how many needed to be replaced after this. "We can proceed now" Caleb says this while leading Rudius into the actual facility. There are numerous cells in the facility, spanning over one hundred thousand. Each cell has a person placed in it and the crimes they committed. The severity of the crimes also allows the members needing to be recharged the quality of the soul. "okay pick five" Caleb says this, he proceeds to sit down on a chair and start playing games on his phone. "Um, don't you need to open the cells" Rudius asks hesitantly, he can tell that Caleb isn't in the mood today already so he doesn't want to provoke him more. Caleb proceeds to throw a pair of keys at Rudius. Rudius catches them while almost stumbling. "Use those keys to open the cells" Caleb says this with slight annoyance before he goes back to playing his game.
Rudius approaches a cell and decides to look at a crime. "This doesn't feel right, this is inhumane" Rudius whispers this to himself. He was planning on just leaving, he didn't want to cause others to lose their lives. "There souls are really pure not even a tinge of evil is in them" Bob says this in Rudius' head and he can no longer hold himself back. "But they are behind bars" Rudius asks this in a confused tone, they have the crimes they committed on their cell doors. Rudius can't process someone behind bars, no all of these people behind bars and they are all innocent. Before Rudius could think anymore, Bob starts to control his body, and he takes five random souls from five people.
Two hours have passed and Rudius wakes up. He feels full but realizes what grave sin he has just committed. He has the urge to puke but realizes that he physically can't anymore. "Okay, time's up we have to leave" Caleb says this while yawning, he gets up out of his seat and begins to head towards the exit. Suddenly a loud explosion is heard from outside of the recharging station. "What was that!?" Rudius blurts this out because he was startled. "Seems like something fun is happening, same that I have to be here with you right now" Caleb says this while sighing. Caleb takes off his necktie and the top part of his suit and begins to run towards the sound of the explosion. Rudius follows behind him because he doesn't want to be a liability again, he wants to have some use.
