Chapter 38: Elite-Jonin
The moment I confirmed my stat upgrades, a surge of power flooded my body.
My chakra network expanded dramatically, feeling like an endless river rather than a contained pool.
The sheer volume of chakra I could now mold was overwhelming—like my entire being had been restructured to house this insane energy.
Physically, the changes were just as drastic. My muscles tightened, reinforced with raw strength and endurance far beyond what I had before.
Every movement felt lighter, sharper—like I had shed invisible chains that were holding me back.
The lingering aches from my last battle dulled, my body adjusting instantly to the newfound durability.
I clenched my fists, feeling the raw force behind them.
Wow…so this is what it felt like to become an Elite-Jonin. Incredible.
The changes I had from moments ago are actually really dramatic.
From Peak Chunin, to Early Elite-Jonin.

The main changes I had to my status page now was that my chakra control fell to another level.
I was now back to the intermediate level, and that drastically affected the lower rank ninjutsu.
That being said, with my insane chakra amount using an obscene amount of Shadow Clones to train was not out of the question anymore.
Well, by obscene, and my mastery over the Jutsu, I meant a mere 15 clones…compared to Naruto, that wasn't that impressive.
But if my chakra control went up again, and I mastered the Jutsu, I would see a substantial increase in the number of clones.
But without getting the advanced variant, I don't see how I can make anything more than 25 clones.
Luckily from my understanding from the player forums, when learning the advanced variant of a Jutsu, the pre-existing EXP applies to it.
For example, the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu would look something like this:

And it seems like after reaching the Elite-Jonin rank, I had unlocked something else as well.

Description: By using the Body Flicker Technique, a ninja can move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and the intended destination. This technique can be level up upon mastery.

Looking at the last warning, I decided to leave the Body Flicker for now.
I mean, I didn't want to use my water element on it, if I could only enhance this Jutsu 1 time.
What would a Wood Style Body Flicker even look like…
Anyways, now my combat strength has surged.
I can use the 4th gate, probably without the easy risk of breaking my bones, that being said if I did strain myself in it I would still cause severe damage.
But now, I could use a lot more of my Jutsu with relative ease.
After about an hour, I made my way towards where I had just met Naido sensei, after calling Yuki.
Ayumi was already nearby as she was talking to Sakura.
Sasuke and Naruto were also arguing against each other while Kakashi Sensei was reading Makeout paradise.
Something which I had already read in this world and was definitely some interesting content.
Looking around, I looked at a teenager who was happily relaxed on the floor. He seemed content with his cloud watching, not wanting to be bothered.
Right behind him, a fat and chubby teenager was munching on snacks, as if he was scared the snacks would grow legs on its own and he would have nothing else to eat.
He kept on moving on the new packets, and his bag seemed to have an infinite amount of food.
"*Munch* I am not sharing any. *Munch.*"
"Idiot he doesn't want any, he is probably wondering how you have so many chips in one tool kit." Shikamaru replied for me.
Indeed, that was what I was thinking.
"*Much* Thats easy,*Much*, I brought an extra bag but sensei took it away,*Much*. He only gave it back now that we are leaving. *Much*"
"Fat Pig." I heard a female voice spit out .
"Ino be nice." I heard, and as I turned towards the side I saw Ino Yamanaka and Asuma Sarutobi walk towards Shikamaru and Choji.
Ino is a slender, fair skinned teen with long platinum blond hair tied into a high ponytail with striking blue eyes. She wore a purple outfit with a sleeveless top, skirt and fishnet stockings.
Asuna is a tall, well-built man with tan skin, short spiky black hair and a beard. He wore a standard Hidden Leaf uniform with the green flak jacket and was smoking a cigarette.
"You must be Shikomu." Asuma said as he walked closer to me and observed me.
"Yes." I replied calmly…this man's death was definitely a sad one inside of the anime.
Something I aimed to avoid if possible.
After all, no matter how weak in the long run, if I was going to be inside the faction of the Hidden Leaf, I wanted every asset possible to be at its peak for a long while.
"Naido wasn't kidding when he said he found a good one." I heard a female voice say as she walked right beside Asuma.
Kurenai Yuhi popped up from his side. She has wavy black hair, distinctive red eyes and fair skin. She wore a red mesh armor blouse, a white sleeveless overcoat and bandaged around her arms and legs.
"Naido sensei said that?" I asked in surprise, since he rarely praised me, well to my face.
According to Yuki he had praised my chakra control often…but to think this man was doing it in front of his colleagues too…
"I mean, he mentioned you exist. With Naido you have to read between the lines." Kurenai said with a slight smirk on her face.
"BARK!" "Your right Akamaru he doesn't seem all that tough."
After saying that, a man and dog duo revealed themselves…and in my opinion he was definitely at one of the weakest ranks inside of the entire Rookie 9 in terms of practicality in terms of combat.
Relying on a dog to fight just seems crazy to me.
Kiba Inuzuka, with his wild brown hair, sharp eyes and distinctive red marks on his cheeks made his presence known. As per usual he had Akamaru with him.
"Bark!" Akamaru barked at me as he came closer, however when we made eye contact he began to whimper and hide himself from me.
I looked around properly again to see Shino Aburame with his short dark hair and high collared coat making his way towards Shikamaru.
Even Hinata Hyuga with her dark blue hair, fair skin and lavender eyes without any pupils made her way to greet Naruto, even though her entire face was red to the brim as she walked towards Naruto and Sasuke.
Well it seemed like the entire rookie 9 was here, with their Jonin sensei too.
And an extra group of 4, with 1 familiar fat player.
Geppo Aburame in all of his fat glory was here, and this time with a smug look on his face as he walked towards me.
"Nice to meet you again Shikomu!" He called out as he raised his hand for a hand shake.
I stared at it for a moment before shaking his hand.
"I swear to god when I get the chance I will kill you." He whispered to me in anger, thinking none of the Jonin would be able to hear him.
I couldn't help but face-palm, how idiotic did some people have to be?
