The third demon emerged from the darkness.
Massive, shorter than the previous one, yet its build was compact and heavy, as if every muscle fiber existed for one purpose only—brutal combat. Its torso and shoulders were covered in cracked, hardened carapace, but its belly, sides, and thighs were exposed—covered in taut, dark skin. It moved erratically, nervously. Muscles twitched with every step. Thick drool dripped from its maw, splattering onto the stones in heavy droplets.
It stepped off the bridge and onto the city floor. Ruins stretched in every direction—shattered buildings, toppled columns, cracked paths. All around lay old bones—white, scattered skeletons that had long since lost their names.
The demon accelerated. In an instant, it lunged to attack.
