Chapter 1 - chapter 01 :The Beginning

In a scene that looked like purgatory on earth, flying monsters roared in the cloudy sky. Wolves howled and rushed at Maximum speed through the streets, eager to bite and tear their prey to shreds. Snakes several meters long moved between buildings, wrapping people in a coil, exploding them, and then swallowing them.

It's worth noting that every time the snakes devoured several people at once, it was a chilling sight. Blood and internal organs were pouring out of the victims' mouths, as despair seemed to emanate from their faces, even after they were dead.

Everything about this place seemed to evoke sadness, despair, and hatred. The sky was filled with echo of People screaming for help, and the roars of the monsters, who seemed to be enjoying the despair on the faces of there prey.

Suddenly, a yellow and purple light emanated from the sky, attracting the attention of some of the monsters. The monsters looked up, and after seeing the source of the light, they felt as if their blood was freezing. The snakes looked extremely frightened, their mouths and eyes wide open. The wolves began to make the sounds of dogs that had been beaten, and then began to... run

All the monsters fled, not caring about their prey or even other monsters. The weaker monsters were trampled to death, turning into a pulp, while the stronger ones fled without caring about their herd

The winged monsters flew, wishing to sprout several wings from their backs just to fly faster. The sight seemed strange. What had driven those armies of huge monsters, several meters tall, to flee as if they were mice seeing a cat? Light shone in the sky, revealing what the monsters were running from, terrified.

"Super-Level Magic: Gates of the Flame Prison"

"Super-Level Magic: Holy Execution"

"Super-Level: Divine Thunder Punishment"

Several voices were heard in the sky. Huge gates of flame opened, and flames began to pour out. The sight was terrifying. Fire descended from the sky, turning everything to ash. Monsters touched by the flames turned to ash and even dust, and monsters who didn't get touched by the flames were killed by the shockwave. It wasn't long before a giant sword the size of a damned skyscraper descended, killing a wolf dozens of meters tall. In the process, the building the monster was standing on was destroyed, leaving hundreds of monsters dead due to the subsequent power of the spell. Without giving the poor monsters a chance to recover or fight back, lightning bolts descended from all over the sky, destroying everything in their path, from monsters to buildings. Nothing escaped their destruction. Thousands of monsters were killed by the thunder, and several buildings were destroyed and reduced to rubble.

" Super-Level Magic: Thousand Leaf Wind Blades"

"Super-Level Water Magic: Water Incinerator"

"Super-Level Magic: Sinking Earth"

As if that weren't enough for the poor monsters, more sounds were heard as the wind transformed into a giant blade that sliced through several buildings without stopping, cutting several Commander-level monsters in half. The sound of rushing water echoed through out the area, The sound was deep and powerful, The monsters looked towards the source of the sound to notice a giant tsunami heading their way, Some monsters tried to escape, but their speed wasn't enough, The weaker monsters were reduced to pulp, while the stronger ones suffered injuries ranging from severe wounds to lost limbs. The water swept the monsters away, drowning them.

Suddenly, a loud roar echoed. It was a giant hawk and wolf, each dozens of meters tall, Both possessed embryos, but they seemed broken due to some kind of extreme pressure. They both tried to move, but they couldn't. The ground began to sink in under them, but no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't escape. Earth barriers grew around them, and the pressure began to increase threateningly. Crushing them, the two monsters used everything they could, from releasing magical energy to trying to escape with physical force, but nothing worked. Gradually, the ground began to sink deeper as the pressure increased, and the sound of bones breaking was heard. The two monsters screamed in pain, blood gushing from their eyes and ears, as well as from their mouths, mixing with fragments of their internal organs. The eagle's wings and body were wrenched into impossible positions until a final scream was heard, followed by a loud cracking sound, announcing the creature's death.

The wolf held on a little longer, its stronger build only prolonging its suffering. The two king-level monsters were transformed into a form resembling broken dolls, some parts of their bodies turned to bloody mud. Their eyes seemed to reveal deep despair and regret for having come to this cursed place.

It had been a truly violent death.

The sound of screaming echoed through the world. The monsters were howling as their screams began to mix with a different sound.

"Jacob"

The screaming sounded like it was yelling someone.

"Jacob."

"Jacob."

The sound began to get louder. "Jacob woke up."

" Ah"

a 16-year-old teenager woke up in the classroom. He looked around, sweat dripping from his forehead. He looked at his teacher's angry face and the smiling, laughing, sarcastic, and sympathetic faces of his classmates. It took him a few moments to sort out what had happened. "That damned dream again," the boy cursed under his breath. "What did you say, Mr. Jacob?" Jacob looked at his angry teacher. After a moment of thought, he said to the angry teacher, "I apologize, teacher. I was too excited last night and didn't sleep well."

The teacher was a little surprised, as he didn't expect Jacob to not look for an excuse and directly admit his mistake. The teacher found it logical. Today was the day of the Magic Awakening, and everyone would be a little nervous. Not to mention that the boy didn't sleep last night, so he fell asleep during class while waiting for the Awakening Stone to arrive. Thinking about this, the teacher's anger subsided and said to Jacob, "Don't be nervous. Your efforts will not be let down, and just as you put in your effort, you will be rewarded." Jacob looked at the teacher, a little surprised, as he didn't expect the teacher to encourage him. He smiled slightly and said to the teacher, "There's no need to worry, teacher. It's just a little nervous, but thank you for your encouragement." Now it was time for the teacher to be surprised, as he hadn't expected Jacob to respond to his advice and even thank him, which was unusual for people of this age. He sensed Jacob's maturity from his behavior. It wasn't artificial maturity, but a calmness that came from seeing a lot in life. The teacher smiled slightly and said to Jacob, "Okay, no need to thank me. This is my duty as a teacher. Now don't sleep. The Magic Awakening will begin." Then the teacher returned to the office to begin the Magic Awakening.

Jacob looked at the teacher, who had begun preparing the tools for the Magic Awakening and began to think, "So, sixteen years have really passed?" Jacob thought about his previous life, then this life, and what he had gone through, recalling memories at the age of six and his failed attempts to awaken the Magic, which even included eating the Magic stone, the various plans he had made, and then that incident that caused nightmares that still haunt him to this moment. thinking about that, he smiled a little. "In any case, it was time to awaken my Magic."

The teacher prepared everything, placed the Awakening Stone in its place, and began calling out names. The students looked both excited and nervous. Jacob looked around, smiled, and waited for his turn. He was seventh in line. The first person quickly stepped up, looking nervous but controlling himself. The teacher had already told us what to do. So the person placed his hand on the Stone of Awakening and closed his eyes. After some waiting, a blue light shone from the stone, and the areas near it began to freeze. "Oh, the Ice Element," Jacob thought. "Woah, it's the Ice Element!" someone shouted, followed by excited shouts from the rest of the students. They all seemed extremely excited, as many of them began imagining their future lives as mages. Some even told others to take pictures with them because they wouldn't have time to take them in the future. Some of the girls and boys began talking about their luxurious future lives. Jacob seemed amused by his classmates' antics, so he smiled a little and began to think. "I wonder how many of them will survive to become a full-fledged wizard."

It may seem cold or harsh, but the world has one law: survival of the fittest.

and Jacob had seen this himself in the past. Jacob didn't bother thinking too much about the past; it was time for the Magic Awakening Ceremony.

A blue-haired girl came up and awakened the Water System. The girl wasn't sad about awakening a "weak" element like Water. She seemed happy, if Jacob remembered correctly. The girl explained that her family owned a fish farm, so Water Magic would help her inherit the family business.

Four more people then came up and awakened the Wind, Water, Fire, and Poison System. Everyone was surprised that someone had awakened Black Magic, but they didn't make too big a fuss because many people would awaken some kind of Black Magic here, even though they would usually awaken it as a second or third element. Jacob thought about that and smiled. After all, who would have thought he would be reincarnated in the world of the versatile mage, and that he would be reincarnated in Egypt, of all places?

Jacob remembered his shock when he regained his memory at that time. He was terrified. He was in one of the most dangerous countries, Egypt, one of the most famous places in the world for having a kingdom of the undead. while also having Medusa as local specialties.

Watching the undead fight in the novel may seem fun, but all the fun is gone when you become part of the scene. Anyway, it was my turn to awaken the magic.

Third PoV:

Jacob stepped onto the stage after the professor called him. His classmates looked at him, wondering what kind of magic the handsome boy would awaken. Jacob placed his hand on the Stone of Awakening and closed his eyes. He also began to wonder what kind of magic he would awaken, and even wondered what he would do if his magical awakening failed.

He had tried countless times for years to relax his mind and enter into his spiritual consciousness. Despite his failure, focusing and emptying his mind of thoughts had become like breathing for him. Long-term meditation practices had added calm to his life, and calm had become part of his personality. It only took Jacob a second to relax and clear the thoughts in his head. He suddenly felt himself being pulled out of the dark space he had seen for years after closing his eyes, trying to awaken his magic. He felt himself floating in the void. It was a sensation similar to floating. In the water, but it was stranger. He turned to search for his magic. After a short search, a yellow light shone on him. Jacob turned to look. He saw a few yellow-brown particles gathering and forming a circular shape. The circular shape began to rotate, and then seven small stars emerged from it and fell into their own orbits. Jacob looked at this beautiful sight, somewhat astonished.

He had witnessed the birth of his magic.

People who read the novel would not understand what had happened, but Jacob had lived in this world for years and understood that this was a real world, not a novel. Even after that, Jacob could confirm, as someone who had read the novel and lived in this world, that the novel only covered a very small part of this world. After all, how could a world be confined and described in detail in just one novel?

For those who do not know, there is a rumor spread around people it says that seeing the birth of your stardust is considered auspicious and evidence of high talent, although Jacob believes it represents a good mental talent, because all that happens is that your magic star begins to form the moment you place your hand on the Stone of Awakening. If you take some time to enter your spiritual consciousness, you will not be able to see its birth, but the faster and more focused you are, the greater the chances of witnessing your stardust being formed. Therefore, Jacob believes that it is more a matter of mental talent than magic, but with some meditation training or a calmer personality, anyone can witness the birth of their stardust. At least that is what Jacob believes.

Jacob looked at his stardust and after some examination determined that its element was Earth. He looked around for a while but did not find any other element. He felt a little disappointed and left his spiritual consciousness.

Jacob looked at the glowing brown color on the Awakening Stone and quickly adjusted his mindset. However, awakening two elements has its advantages and disadvantages. Jacob does not have any kind of background that can support the cultivation of two magical elements. Even Mo Fan possessed the Little Loach and Tang Yu's assistance, but Jacob did not possess such things. Therefore, possessing two magical elements would affect Jacob negatively rather than positively. Overall, he was satisfied with the Earth element.

teacher Hassan looked at Jacob, who quickly shook off his disappointment with a look approval , as students rarely accept reality quickly, most of them will be either a little sad about not awakening the elements of fire, thunder, and ice, or depressed about awakening the elements of water and light. The majority of students who adjust their moods quickly are earth and wind, but even among them, rarely does anyone calm down as quickly as Jacob. Teacher Hassan approached Jacob and said, "Student Jacob, when you grow up, you will realize that all elements are equal in the end, so there is no need to be sad." Jacob looked at his teacher, who began to console him, confused. What was this man talking about?, Jacob didn't understand the teacher's train of thought, and he didn't have time for that, so he did what any intelligent person in his position would do. Jacob nodded and said, "Um, I understand, teacher. Thank you." Hassan looked at Jacob, sensing that something was wrong, but it was time for the next person to awaken, and Hassan, as a teacher, wouldn't influence or delay someone's awakening for his own personal affairs. He said to Jacob, "Um, good, as long as you understand."

Jacob got off the stage and went to his seat. The students didn't react to Jacob's awakening , as it was Completely normal, his element is Earth, which is a completely common element. He is neither powerful like Thunder and Fire, nor useless like Water and Light. Jacob sat in his seat. He didn't think or plan, but simply enjoyed the awakening of his classmates and their interesting reactions. The rest of the people awakened the usual systems, such as Fire, Earth, and Wind. There was even a surprise when someone awakened the Thunder element, but no one awakened another special magic like the person who awakened the Poison element. After the awakening was over, Jacob left the classroom and headed outside. At the school door, he saw many parents waiting for their children. Jacob stared at the faces of the worried parents, then slipped between them and left the school and walked home. Jacob seemed a little unfocused as he remembered the faces of the parents in front of the school and felt some strange feelings creeping into his heart.

Jacob felt a little sad. It wasn't because he was an orphan in this life. He wasn't the kind of person with a lot of drama. He had parents in his past life who loved him and his siblings and raised them to grow into real men and women. So, Jacob didn't feel sad about not having parents in this life. Maybe he had felt that way before he regained his memories, but after they were restored, that need for love was filled, and he didn't feel lonely. But moments like these made him miss his family a little.

He had died quite young, but luckily, his brothers and sisters were still around, so although his parents would be very sad, they wouldn't be depressed or anything like that. Lost in his thoughts, Jacob reached his house without realizing it. He climbed the stairs to the third floor, reached his door, took out the key, and opened it. He entered the house. He looked at the scattered papers, books, and clothes strewn everywhere. He sighed a little and walked to the kitchen and started preparing some food. He was very hungry after such an eventful morning.

He searched a little and found some remaining ingredients in the kitchen: rice, eggs, some meat, and vegetables. He wasn't in the mood to cook any dishes, so he cooked rice, grilled the meat, and fried eggs. He then washed some tomatoes and salad, placing each dish on the table, and began eating. After finishing eating, he looked at the mess in the house . He took a file out of his school bag and took a look at it. After flipping through it, he placed it on the table. Then he went to the bathroom and took off his clothes, revealing a body that even athletes would envy. His muscles were sculpted and strong without compromising their flexibility. They didn't look bulging, but rather smooth. Jacob looked at his body in the mirror. He didn't look at his toned muscles or his amazing figure, but rather at the scar that ran from his right shoulder to the side of his left stomach. The scar wasn't large, but its effect on Jacob was more than just appearance.

It was his wake-up call.

This scar occurred to Jacob when he was 12 years old while he was strolling through a shopping mall to look at some mage supplies. He didn't go to buy, he just went to look like everybody . At that moment, as he watched the young and old mages bargaining over the magic tool, he heard a loud noise and the ground began to shake. Before he could respond, dust filled the place. People began screaming. Panic spread and people began to flee. Some wizards stepped forward and organized the people to escape, the women and children first. Due to my regained memories, I unconsciously treated myself as an adult due to my mental age resulting from the memories of my previous life and the six years I lived after regaining my memories. Therefore, I continued to help the other children and women up and direct them to the road. After finishing, it was the men's turn. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked back to see a bearded, middle-aged man with a cigar in his mouth. He looked at me and said, "Hey, boy, leave it to the adults. Go and follow them." I was going to argue, but the man didn't give me the chance. He lifted me with one hand and threw me at the woman next to him. "Layla, take the child and take him to the emergency shelter," the bearded man said to the woman with blue hair. The woman took me and smiled kindly. " my little one, follow me, and Big Sister will take you to a safe place." Although she said, "Follow me," she grabbed me like a sack of potatoes and took me to the shelter. I wanted to argue, but I stopped. I was just a kid now. My body couldn't do anything, even if I wanted to help. I looked at the woman and said in a gentle voice, "Big Sister, there was an earthquake." The woman looked at me and said in surprise, "An earthquake." Then she laughed. "No, what happened wasn't an earthquake." She answered me. I was surprised , the violent shaking and dust. She said it wasn't an earthquake, was it a gas leak or something? Before I could ask her, the woman quickly moved from her spot. I felt a little dizzy from the sudden movement. Before I could ask what had happened, the woman pointed her hand in front of her. A blue star map formed in front of her, and a circular barrier of water formed.

Jacob looked at the water barrier in astonishment. He wasn't stupid, quite the opposite. He was extremely intelligent, but the differences between the two worlds made him involuntarily think of incidents like earthquakes and gas leaks. But after seeing the woman unleash her magic and her previous reaction, he understood what had happened. Jacob looked at the water defense, and the moment he looked at it, he felt as if his heart had stopped. The hair stood on end in every pore of his . He had seen A giant mouth that could swallow several Jacob's body in one bite, and four giant fangs dripping with a suspicious green liquid. Jacob looked terrified. He had never seen anything like this in his life. The woman looked at the terrified Jacob and said with a serious tone, "Boy, can you hear me?" Jacob looked into the giant mouth and did not answer. His mind was struggling to process what he had just seen. The woman saw Jacob not responding, so she said in a louder voice, "Boy, can you hear me?" Jacob did not answer. The woman raised her hand, trying to slap Jacob's head to wake him up when she heard a slightly trembling voice. "I hear you, Big Sister." The woman suddenly looked at Jacob and saw his firm gaze despite his trembling body. She smiled slightly and then said, "There's no need to be afraid. Just do what Big Sister tells you and you'll be fine. Understood?" Jacob nodded. The woman said, "Do you remember the way we came from?" Jacob nodded. "Yes, I do." She said, "I want you to run as fast as you can to that way and When you find some other mages tell them there is a monster here, understood?" Jacob nodded. "I understand, big sister." "You run when I tell you." "Yes." The woman cast another spell, and the water turned into a wall that held back the giant snake. "Now!" the woman shouted.

Jacob ran as fast as he could along the road he'd come from. He saw destroyed shops and chaotic places. When he returned to the square, he froze. He saw the ground stained with blood, and the corpses of snakes and humans strewn everywhere. Jacob suppressed his fear and looked around, searching for anyone. The woman was waiting for him, and because of him, she had gotten into this situation. Noah ran, searching everywhere until he found the bearded man standing next to two other people. Jacob ran to them. The bearded man saw Jacob and was surprised. He quickly approached him and said, "Hey, boy, what are you doing here?"

Didn't I tell you to follow Layla and hide? Jacob was gasping for air, but he managed to get a few words out of his dry throat. "Big Sister, encountered a monster and..." "What? Layla encountered a monster?" The bearded man and the other woman shouted . Jacob replied, "Yes. She told me to come and find other mages and tell them there's a monster. Please hurry. Big Sister is in danger." A long-haired man angrily kicked the corpse of a snake beside him and said, "Black Vatican bastards. If I get my hands on one of them, I'll..." A woman cut off the man and said, "Liam, pull yourself together. We don't have time." The woman looked at Jacob, trying to muster a smile, though she failed to hide her worry and anger. "Little Brother, can you..." Before she could finish, Jacob replied, "Yes, I know the way. I can show you." The woman was surprised and said, "No, just tell me the location and we'll go. It's dangerous. Just stay with Big Brother Liam until we get back." "No, I'll go," Jacob replied. The woman felt a headache and motioned for Liam to hold the child. Liam nodded, but just as he was about to move, Jacob said, "Big Sister is fighting an Advanced Servant-level monster. You two won't be enough. If one of you stays with me, you'll all die." They were all surprised. Liam looked surprised and said, "Kid, how did you know the monster was Advanced Servant-level did layla told you?"

"no "Jacob replied

"then how did you..."

,Jacob replied "The monster is a green snake with a yellow tail, and the yellow color in its tail has reached almost half of its body." They looked even more surprised when they heard what Jacob said. They knew the green snake with a yellow tail was a monster with both the poison and earth attributes. It would awaken its poison attribute at Servant-level, and its earth attribute would grow stronger until it reached Warrior-level. The earth attribute is represented by the yellow color in its tail, and when it reaches more than half of its body, it breaks through to Warrior-level. The monster Layla was fighting had the yellow color in its tail nearly halfway down, meaning it was Advanced Servant-level. Normally, it takes five novice mages to kill a regular Servant monster, but an Advanced Servant requires more—perhaps six to ten novice mages. So the boy was right. If Liam stays here, they will all die. Only if Liam goes and they all cooperate will they have a chance of survival. But they can't leave the child. If they leave him and a monster comes out, the outcome will be unacceptable to them as well. Jacob looked at the bearded uncle and said, "Take me with you." Before the woman could object, he said, "I won't come near. I will hide until you kill the beast ." The three of them fell silent. After some thought, the bearded man agreed and said, "Okay, let's go." The woman looked at him angrily. "Isaac, what are you doing?" The bearded man said, "We don't have time, and what the child said is the best solution." The bearded man looked at Jacob and said, "Boy, why are you doing this?" Jacob looked at him, not understanding what he meant, so he asked him, "What do you mean?" The bearded man said, "There's no need to risk yourself. You can just say nothing, and we will never know. You will be safe with Liam.

" Isaac, "What are you saying to a child?" The woman screamed. Liam stopped her with a smile and told her to wait. Isaac looked at Jacob, and Jacob looked at him, then said, "The same reason that woman chose to stay and fight the monster on Although it would be easier for her to leave me, then no one would know, and she wouldn't have to risk herself." Isaac looked at the child, secretly stunned. He turned to his companions, who were even more shocked.

Hahaha. Isaac burst out laughing. He grabbed Jacob and threw him to Liam. "Boy, no, little man lead the way." Jacob was annoyed. "What's wrong with these people carrying me and throwing me away like a ball? Can't they just let me walk? I have two damn legs." But he didn't say anything. They wasted a lot of time, and he was a little tired from all the running and prodding before. He also heard the change in tone of the bearded man named Isaac. Jacob was sure that if he had a system, he would hear.

Anyway, the team set off to rescue Layla, and Jacob understood why Liam had carried him. These people were extremely fast. Liam even used wind magic to speed himself up a little. Jacob could only watch the scenery fade away. He couldn't respond at all. He understood. Why do magicians' senses become enhanced as their cultivation increases? If their senses and body aren't enhanced, they won't even be able to respond to a monster attack in time, or even escape. After Jacob showed them the place, Liam handed Jacob to the woman and set off. Jacob didn't say anything. He was already used to people throwing him left and right, and he promised himself that if he got out of this crisis alive, he would exercise himself and become so heavy that no one could lift him. After they arrived, the woman placed him down and smiled kindly at him. " little brother, hide there." She pointed to a place upstairs where Jacob could see the battlefield. It was a shopping plaza with a large marble fountain. Jacob ran to the place she pointed and hid after seeing Jacob hiding. The woman and the man set off toward the battlefield. Jacob climbed the stairs and hid behind the rubble of the walls. He looked from the edge of the upper floor at the square below.

He saw the woman, named Layla, surrounded by a blue water shield that was constantly rotating, protecting her. But the problem was that the shield wouldn't last long, as the snake's body had surrounded it. With the shield and began to press on it, the only reason Layla survived so far was the broken fountain from which water was constantly flowing, reducing Layla's magic consumption. Layla didn't have to expend her magical energy to cast water magic; all she had to do was manipulate the flow of water and shape her magic. As the snake continued to apply pressure, the water dome continued to shrink, causing Layla to face a crisis where she could only wait for death. After some time, the pressure intensified and the dome could no longer bear it. It exploded, revealing Layla. Layla looked as if she would be crushed to pulp In an instant, Jacob felt his heart in his throat. Luckily, at the last moment, a green light erupted and lifted Layla up before she could be crushed. Jacob breathed a sigh of relief; the green light was Liam, who had used wind magic. Liam grabbed Layla, jumped over the snake, and moved away. He placed Layla down and said, "You're okay?" He pointed to her hand, from which blood was gushing. Layla replied, "I'm fine, just my magic energy is a little worn out." She removed a piece of cloth. And bandaged the wound "

"Well, that's good to hear." Layla and Liam heard a voice next to them. Without even turning around, they knew who it was. They looked to the side and Layla said, "Isaac, the monster is annoying to deal with this time".

"I know. The little man told us." Isaac replied."huh i need a cigar after this"

"The little man?" Layla looked surprised by the name. and ignored what isaac said about the cigar
