After hearing Pietro, crow also started hearing the slow and stady footsteps. Crow tried to get up and run, but his legs gave in and he ploped down, he barely had the strength to sit.
Pietro was shaking in fear, he wanted to run away. But when he saw his sister struggle to stand up he mustered his courage and stood in front of wanda.
Two soldiers came infront of wanda and Pietro. When the soldiers saw wanda their eyes lit up. They slowly started walking towards wanda.
"What do you want, stop right there" He warned them seeing them walking towards wanda.
"Get out of our way boy and we might let you live" One of the soldier said sneering.
"Pietro move"

"I said move! Pietro".
Pietro moved away very hesitantly after hearing wanda's stern voice.
"that's more like it" said the soldier after seeing Pietro move out of their way.
Seeing the two soldiers coming her way wanda instinctively raised her right hand and recited one spell from the book, immediately afterwards her hand glowed blood red.
The two soldiers instantly exploded like a can of beans, their innards spilling on the floor.
"Ahhh! " Pietro screamed after seeing this horrifying scene.
He glanced at wanda both astonished and horrified.
"What was that"?
" I don't know, help me up. It's not safe here lets go"
Pietro put aside his curiosity for the moment and helped wanda stand up
Wanda leaned on pietro's shoulder and started walking towards a temporary safe place. Wanda and Pietro walked for half a hour before reaching their destination, a house on westernmost part of the village. "Pietro, you sleep. I will keep watch this time" "Ok" After pietro fell asleep Wanda diverted her eyes to the window, her black eyes glowing faint red as she gazed into the darkness.
