Chapter 19 - Sky's King Revolution

The night sky burned with the flames of war.

Dragonoids surged through the mountain city, their bodies glowing with newfound power from the artifact.

For the first time in history—they were stronger than dragons.

A Sky Dragon tried to take flight—only for a Dragonoid to rip off its wings.

An Earth Dragon roared, summoning a rock barrier—only for a Dragonoid to shatter it with one punch.

Leviathans emerged from the lakes—only to be dragged onto land, struggling helplessly.

Ryle stood atop a broken tower, watching the chaos unfold.

"Now."

As planned, he, Thea, and Dravenith moved in.

Dravenith clashed with Solrath, the Dragonoid leader.

Their battle shook the mountain.

Solrath, his scales flickering with golden light, growled.

"You were our brother once, Dravenith!"

Dravenith smirked, dodging a strike. "I still am."

Their claws collided, sending shockwaves through the city.

Meanwhile—

Thea darted through the battlefield, swiftly disabling rogue Dragonoids.

A half-blood with burning wings lunged at her—she tripped him, pinned him down, and knocked him out.

A Dragonoid tried to slash at a fleeing child—Thea blocked it with her blade and kicked them unconscious.

Her movements were quick, precise.

One by one, she subdued them.

And Ryle—

He defended civilians.

A Sky Dragon elder trembled, trapped in a corner as Dragonoids approached.

Before they could attack—

Ryle landed between them, eyes glowing gold.

"You really think I'd let you kill an old man?"

The Dragonoids hesitated.

Ryle cracked his knuckles.

"Try me."

In an instant—he tore through them.

Despite their immense power, the Dragonoids began to fall.

Ryle, Thea, and Dravenith systematically dismantled the rebellion.

Dravenith broke Solrath's arm, pinning him to the ground.

Thea had captured the rogue fighters.

And Ryle…

Had forced every Dragonoid in the city to retreat.

Dravenith located the artifact, gripping it tightly.

With one swift motion—

He shut it down.

The golden light faded from the Dragonoids' bodies.

Their newfound strength disappeared.

The revolution was over.

The mountain city fell into stunned silence.

Then—cheers erupted.

The people saw Dravenith as the hero.

Dragonoids had attacked.

And he had saved them.

Dravenith turned to the ruling dragons.

"I challenge you," he declared, voice echoing through the mountain.

The Sky Dragon Lord growled, charging at him.

Dravenith ripped off his head in a single strike.

The Leviathan Lord hissed, summoning water magic—Dravenith blasted through it and crushed his skull.

The Earth Dragon Lord stepped forward—

And knelt.

Vaelthia's brother.

The one who had secretly supported the Dragonoids.

"I surrender," he said.

Dravenith looked down at him.

Then, he turned to the gathered dragons.

"From today forward—I am your King."

A new era had begun.

The crowd parted—a woman stepped forward.

She was tall, elegant, with long silvery-blue hair and piercing teal eyes.

Dravenith's breath caught.

"...Sylvaris?"

The Leviathan smirked, arms crossed.

"Still as reckless as ever, Dravenith."

Ryle folded his arms, watching the exchange with amusement.

He knew his brother more than anyone.

And he knew that Dravenith was interested in her.

His lips curled into a smirk.

"Tsundere dragon."

Dravenith glared at him. "Shut up."

She turned back to Dravenith.

"You're King now," she said. "You'll need an assistant."

Dravenith tried to act indifferent.

"Tch. Do whatever you want."

But Ryle could see it—

His brother was pleased.

Ryle visited Caelum Valtoria.

The new Duke Valtoria frowned, sipping his wine. "So, you're saying you want me to take in the Dragonoids?"

Ryle leaned forward. "They need a home."

Caelum sighed, swirling his drink.

"Fine. But in return—"

"I'll handle the politics," Ryle cut in.

Caelum smirked.

"You really are a pain, Ryle."

"That's my job."

A new alliance was born.

The Dragonoids would finally have a home.

Dravenith sat on his new throne, arms crossed.

"Where's the artifact?"

Silence.

Then—

Ryle, flying away, the artifact in his grasp.

Thea, in his arms, blushed furiously.

"Y-You don't have to carry me like this!"

Ryle smirked.

"I like efficiency."

Below them—

Vaelthia stood at the edge of the mountain.

Tears welled in her eyes as she watched her son disappear into the night.

"...You've left me again," she whispered.

The wind carried her sorrow.
