Inside Naruto's mindscape, the Nine-Tails narrowed its eyes as it observed the intruder standing before him. The massive fox, Kurama, tilted its head, scrutinizing the stranger who bore a striking resemblance to Naruto yet carried an entirely different demeanor.
Kurama's deep voice rumbled through the sealed space. "Who are you?"
The fox searched its memories but found no recollection of this individual. It had seen everything that happened outside, and from the boy's appearance and surname, he did indeed seem like a child of Namikaze Minato.
But that was impossible.
Kurama had spent over a decade sealed within Naruto's mother, Uzumaki Wumingshi. It was certain that she had only given birth to one child—Naruto Uzumaki. There was no way Minato and Wumingshi had another son without Kurama knowing.
Unless…
The Fourth Hokage had cheated on his wife and had a child outside of their marriage?!
The mere thought irritated Kurama, despite its deep resentment toward Minato—the man who had split it in two and sealed it away. Still, it was difficult to imagine Minato as someone who would betray his wife.
Adding to its confusion, the boy before him seemed to know Kurama's real name.
Kurama's ears twitched in frustration. The only ones who knew its true name were the Sage of Six Paths, Indra, Asura, and the other tailed beasts. How could this unknown individual possibly know?
And why did he act so familiar with it?
"Who am I? I'll tell you later."
The boy, Menma, pressed his palms together and bowed slightly.
"For now, I'm sorry, Kurama. You've been living in Naruto's body for so many years—it's only fair that I collect some rent on his behalf. That's not asking too much, is it?"
Kurama's ears shot up.
"What?!"
Rent?
What was this brat planning?
Before the fox could react, golden chains shot forward, piercing through the crimson prison that contained it. In an instant, the chains wrapped tightly around its massive limbs and torso.
"Adamantine Sealing Chains?!"
Kurama roared in fury, struggling against the bonds that rendered it immobile.
"You're a descendant of the Uzumaki Clan?!"
The possibility sent a shiver of anger through the tailed beast. Could Minato have fathered two children and somehow hidden one from everyone—including Kurama itself?!
Menma smiled. "I'm just collecting a bit of your chakra."
With a casual wave, the golden chains glowed brighter, and a surge of red chakra streamed from Kurama's body, siphoned into Menma's grasp.
"Well, Kurama, we'll meet again next time."
With that, Menma withdrew from Naruto's sealed space.
The Outside World
As Menma opened his eyes, crimson energy swirled around his body—pure Nine-Tails chakra, radiating with immense power.
"This should be enough for now," he muttered, flexing his fingers as the chakra crackled around him.
Black Kakashi and Senju Hashirama, standing nearby, nodded in approval.
The three of them each absorbed a portion of the tailed beast's chakra, storing it within the power cores embedded in their chakra armor. With this energy source, they could attempt to establish stable communication with the Empire.
"Alright, everyone," Black Kakashi said with a smirk, addressing their captives. "You're all prisoners now. Be good and don't try anything foolish unless you want to suffer."
"Ah…" White Kakashi sighed, watching as Naruto glared defiantly.
The younger Kakashi knew resistance was futile. These mysterious individuals were far beyond their ability to handle.
Surrendering was the only option—for now.
Menma stepped forward, raising a hand.
"To prevent any ideas of escape…"
With a swift motion, he traced his fingers along Naruto and Sasuke's arms, leaving behind a black seal in the shape of the Uzumaki clan's symbol.
Naruto looked down at his arm in confusion. "What the hell is this?"
White Kakashi's face darkened as realization hit him.
"Could it be…?!"
Menma smirked.
"Yes. It's exactly what you think."
A chill ran through White Kakashi's spine.
Flying Thunder God Technique.
This brat even knew Minato's signature teleportation jutsu?!
"Don't even think about running away," Menma added casually.
Off to the side, Zabuza Momochi scoffed, unconcerned. The mark was on the two brats, not him. If an opportunity arose, he'd still make his escape.
Menma, however, read his thoughts with ease.
"Remember," he said, his voice dripping with amusement. "If one person escapes, everyone will be punished."
Zabuza's smirk faltered slightly.
"If anyone tries to run," Menma continued, "I'll kill them directly."
White Kakashi clenched his fists.
Damn it.
Now he had no choice but to keep a close watch on Zabuza and Haku. If either of them escaped, Naruto and Sasuke would die.
Seeing the troubled expressions around him, Menma chuckled inwardly.
His Majesty was right—collective punishment is an excellent way to control and divide a group.

Nightfall - Gato's Manor, Land of Waves
Menma and his group had taken over Gato's estate, forcing the corrupt businessman into submission. Their captives—Naruto, Sasuke, White Kakashi, Zabuza, and Haku—were confined to the building under constant surveillance.
In one of the rooms, Menma and his companions gathered around a device.
The screen on their communication watches flickered before stabilizing, revealing two figures.
"Connection successful!"
Black Kakashi sighed in relief. With the tailed beast's chakra, they had managed to establish cross-world communication with the Empire.
On the screen, besides their superior, Chang Ye, another familiar face appeared.
"Tobirama, you're here too?" Senju Hashirama asked curiously.
Unlike Hashirama's current form as an Impure World Reincarnation, Senju Tobirama had been truly resurrected in the Empire. He was now a living, breathing force within its ranks.
Tobirama's sharp gaze landed on his brother.
"Brother, the ninja world you're in has been temporarily designated as Ninja World No. 1 by the Empire," he stated. "I've been assigned to oversee your operations there, including manpower and resource allocation."
Chang Ye leaned back in his chair. "Report the situation."
"Yes, Your Majesty," Black Kakashi responded.
"As of now, Ninja World No. 1 is in the 60th year of the Konoha Calendar—matching our era. The world is still divided into five great ninja villages, and based on our observations, their Kage-level power should not exceed the Super Kage threshold."
"We encountered this world's counterparts of Menma and Sasuke—Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke. They appear to be the current reincarnations of Asura and Indra's chakra."
"Menma has already placed a Flying Thunder God mark on them, ensuring they can't escape."
"Additionally, we've noticed several strange differences in Konoha's history…"
Chang Ye listened expressionlessly, but Tobirama's face grew more and more incredulous.
"Konoha's White Fang committed suicide over public opinion?"
"Minato died sealing the Nine-Tails?"
"Orochimaru defected?"
Tobirama's eye twitched.
"What a mess…"
Then something caught his attention.
"Wait. Did you just say the Uchiha clan was exterminated?"
Tobirama paused.
Then, to everyone's shock—he laughed.
