Chapter 1 - Poisoned Death

In Konoha, an unusual scene was unfolding. The Hokage rushed, accompanied by several ANBU members, towards an area where a thick red chakra had been detected. Even from a distance, the intensity of the energy could be felt, disturbing the air around it. He didn't know what to expect, but he knew this event was not ordinary.

Before he even reached the location, the chakra slowly began to calm down, then disappeared in an instant, like mist dissipating in the wind. The tension in the air slightly eased, but a lingering apprehension remained.

As soon as he arrived, an ANBU member, wearing a dog mask, quickly approached him. Through one of the small holes in the mask, the glow of a red pupil could be seen, a light both familiar and unsettling. The Hokage paused for a moment, scanning his subordinate.

"Is the jinchuriki alright?" he asked in a calm voice, though it carried a hint of concern.

Upon hearing the affirmative response, the Hokage slowly released the breath he had unconsciously been holding, as if a weight he hadn't noticed was lifted. A quiet sigh of relief, though the worry still lingered in his eyes.

"I just put him to sleep before a real rampage," the man under his mask added, his voice calm and reassuring.

The Hokage, grateful, placed his hand on the ANBU's shoulder, a gesture that spoke volumes about the trust he had in him. "I knew the surveillance mission was in good hands with you."

Then, in a more serious tone, he asked, "Has the cause of this rampage been revealed?"

The Hokage's question seemed to strike the masked man, a moment of hesitation visible despite his impassive mask. After a long minute of silence, he finally replied in a graver voice, as if the words were difficult to say.

"His sister is dead, it was poisoning."

"Fortunately, she was the first to taste the dish," the man added, before stopping. The words hung in the air, unspoken but heavy with meaning.

Even so, Sarutobi Hiruzen knew he had failed. The situation had completely slipped from his control. Things should never have gone this far.

Taking a deep breath, Sarutobi Hiruzen spoke with the authority he was expected to carry, each word heavy in the air. "Summon Danzo and Inoichi Yamanaka to my office. Keep the child asleep. From now on, surveillance around him will be reinforced. But for now, certain things must be done."

He then took the sleeping child into his arms and made his way towards his office. But as he walked, he murmured, as if speaking to an invisible shadow.

"Sorry, Narume, I couldn't protect you. But knowing you, even in death, you'd be ready to protect your brother, wouldn't you? ... All of this is for Konoha."

-------------------------------Some Years later

In a slightly isolated tomb, a body that should have remained forever still moved again. After a moment, the body's eyes revealed reds pupils.

"Teleportation," she murmured.

The next instant, the tomb was empty. Inside the coffin, as well as outside... everything had changed.
