A grand hall stood at the heart of Olympus, towering above the clouds, its pillars carved from divine marble, its ceiling painted with celestial constellations that shifted with the sky. The air shimmered with power as gods, major and minor alike, gathered for a meeting like no other.
At the center sat the Twelve Olympians, their thrones gleaming with divine radiance. Even Hades had made an appearance, seated slightly apart from the others, his presence like a shadow against the golden light of the hall.
Zeus stood, his eyes crackling with lightning. He raised his hand, and the murmurs of the gods fell silent.
Zeus: "We are gathered here today to discuss the fragments."
His voice carried the weight of a storm, commanding attention. He turned to Hades first, his piercing gaze demanding answers.
Zeus: "Brother, tell us of the Underworld. How has it been affected?"
Hades leaned back in his throne, his expression unreadable. His voice was deep, cold, and yet held the patience of eternity.
Hades: "The Underworld… is no longer the same. The dead whisper of change. The rivers that separate the living from the dead have grown turbulent. The souls of warriors who died long ago now burn with strange energies, as if touched by something beyond even my understanding."
The gods exchanged glances. Even Zeus frowned.
Hades: "Not only that. Something… new is being born among the dead."
A heavy silence followed.
Poseidon leaned forward, resting his trident against his knee. His ocean-blue eyes gleamed with something rare—concern.
Poseidon: "The sea has changed as well. I have seen monsters unlike any before—beasts whose forms defy nature, whose hunger is endless. The deep has become a place of nightmares."
He exhaled sharply.
Poseidon: "And yet… I feel stronger than ever."
He did not elaborate, and none dared question him.
Then, a warm presence spoke up, radiating gentle power.
Hestia, the eldest Olympian, yet the least involved in their quarrels, folded her hands on her lap. Her voice was like a mother's embrace—soft, but commanding.
Hestia: "A new realm has been born."
The gods turned to her in shock.
Hestia: "The Spirit Realm. A realm of elements, of pure energy and creation. It was Nirvana, daughter of Hephaestus, who first discovered its presence."
Whispers filled the hall.
Demeter: "A realm of elements…? Could it be tied to nature itself?"
Hestia nodded.
Hestia: "The laws of the world are shifting. Fire, water, earth, air… all are gaining a will of their own. And from them, a new race has emerged—one made of pure elemental energy. They are beings of magic and spirit, unlike anything we have ever seen."
A deep chuckle echoed through the hall.
Ares: "Tch. More races? As if the world wasn't already full of weaklings scrambling in the dirt."
Athena shot him a glare.
Athena: "Do not be so quick to dismiss them, Ares. Change brings both opportunity and danger. These spirits may reshape the balance of power among mortals. I have also seen something else."
The gods turned to her.
Athena: "In a valley untouched by mortals, I saw creatures unlike any before. Beasts of scale and magic. Creatures whose very blood hums with magic. They call themselves dragons."
Gasps echoed through the hall.
Hera: "A new powerfully monster? Truly?"
Athena: "Yes. They are powerful, and they are evolving. Whatever they once were… they are now something more."
The room buzzed with tension. What are these dragons ?!?
Apollo and Artemis, the twin gods of the sun and moon, rose from their thrones.
Apollo: "The stars have changed as well."
Artemis continued for him.
Artemis: "The sky are no longer as they were. When the fragments fell, the constellations shifted. Some stars vanished. Others were reborn. It is as if the sky itself is rewriting history."
Apollo's golden eyes gleamed.
Apollo: "And with these changes, the mortal races are evolving. Some humans are now stronger, faster—blessed with physical gifts beyond their kin. Others have gained sharper minds, or the ability to wield magic without training. Even magical plants are mutating."
Dionysus, lounging in his seat, swirled his goblet of wine.
Dionysus: "Heh. Sounds like a festival waiting to happen. Chaos, uncertainty… oh, I can already see the new legends forming."
Hera scowled.
Hera: "Legends? What you speak of is dangerous. If the mortals become too strong, they may defy us."
Zeus narrowed his eyes.
Zeus: "Then we must ensure that does not happen."
He looked around at the gathered gods, his expression unreadable.
Zeus: "The world is changing. These fragments… they are reshaping existence itself."
He stood, his aura crackling with divine power.
Zeus: "We must decide. Will we guide this new world? Or will we allow it to grow unchecked?"
The gods did not answer immediately.
For in that moment, they realized—the age of gods was entering a new era.
