Chapter 31 - Proving himself (31)

POV Change

Harribel's blade flashed as she parried Cirucci's rapid strikes. The sadistic woman was fast, using Sonido to dance around her with fluid, unpredictable movements. But Harribel was unfazed. Each swing of her sword sent ripples of pressurized water slicing through the air, forcing Cirucci to stay on the move.

Cirucci grinned. "You're strong, I'll give you that." She suddenly flipped backward, her Zanpakuto glowing with energy. "But let's see how you handle this."

Yup, she wanted to crush this Vasto Lorde. If Baraggan asked, Harribel was too weak and unworthy of His Majesty's affection.

Man out here looking like a skeleton trying to pipe chocolate... the fuck he thinks he can do with those bones... bone her?

Hm, yeah, as if Gabriel would allow that...

Anyway, let's go back to the gothic girl that you—yes, you—would allow to step on your balls.

With a sickening crack, her form shifted. Her body elongated, her arms became razor-sharp appendages, and her wings expanded. Her Resurrección had begun.

"I wonder," Cirucci purred, hovering above Harribel, "how deep does your despair go?"

Harribel remained composed. Cirucci's words meant nothing to her.

"I suppose we'll find out."

Harribel was in no rush. She could take this... one step at a time.

BZZZT—BOOM!

Sonido was being spammed today.

POV Change

Meanwhile, with Dordoni, you would have expected that he wouldn't have released his Zanpakuto yet, considering he was the stronger one and he was fighting a seven-month-old Hollow.

Dordoni had already released his Zanpakuto. His power surged, the sheer force of his spiritual pressure kicking up a violent storm of sand around them.

"Nice trick," Gabriel said as flames came to life all around him. Yes, he was still using what he had learned from Ifrit, though he could now use water too. And since this man was nice enough to show his ability...

Wind too.

All he needed to do was shape his soul in a way that mimicked his opponent's power, and tada, he had it.

However, he wouldn't reveal that aspect of his power yet. He would let the man believe his power was fire, and when the time was right, sneak attack him, use Idle Transfiguration, and kill him in one go.

Dordoni smirked. "You're strong, kid, but this is where your story ends."

BZZZT—BOOM!

BZZZT—BOOM!

BZZZT—BOOM!

BZZZT—BOOM!

Maybe, just maybe, a lot of Sonido were being used.

Dordoni was relentless in his attacks, overwhelming Gabriel with rapid strikes from his dual-bladed Zanpakuto.

Gabriel watched as the man controlled the wind to attack him. Gabriel could do nothing but harden his skin using Hierro.

And when it got too much, he used his fire power, unleashing powerful flames that consumed everything in their path—even the wind.

BZZZT—BOOM!

"Fire won't save you," Dordoni taunted, delivering a crushing kick to Gabriel's stomach. The younger fighter was sent skidding across the sand, coughing up blood.

You know, that Sonido-into-a-kick combo was getting quite annoying. It was effective, yes, but it was still annoying as heck.

But he got up.

Again.

And again.

Despite taking hit after hit, he never lost his grin. His body screamed in agony, but his spirit refused to break.

He refused to falter now. Sure, this man was stronger than him(suppress)—Gabriel was man enough to admit that.

His head wasn't so far up his ass that he couldn't see something so obvious.

He, however, refused to lose now. Losing now would reset so much of his progress.

He needed some sort of motivation.

He needed something to give him more grit.

...

BOOM!

A violent amount of Reiatsu came pouring out of the boy's body. His power felt nearly limitless, the pressure coming from it so vast and so great that Dordoni, the closest person to it, felt as if someone was crushing his soul.

Dordoni's eyes widened. "Mierda..."

The boy's power had been sealed this whole time?

"Now we're talking," Dordoni said, a grin creeping onto his face. He lunged forward, eager to meet Gabriel head-on.

They clashed once more, but this time—it was different. Gabriel's flames carried a new weight. Their intensity made the air shimmer. His punches now dented Dordoni's blades.

Then, for a split second—Dordoni saw something.

Behind Gabriel, a massive, infernal gate loomed. Its skeletal doors creaked open, revealing a ghastly, gaping maw.

The Gates of Hell.

Dordoni's instincts screamed at him to retreat, but it was too late.

Gabriel's fist met his blade.

Gabriel didn't care and kept pounding and pounding at the man.

If this man was just a foot soldier, then how strong was the king? He was highballing it because it was better to be overprepared than underprepared.

Better to enter a boss fight as a level 75 with maxed-out heals, weapons, and gear to fight a level 25 boss than to be a level 25 player trying to fight a level 75 boss with three phases—and each phase, the boss's health replenishes and his level grows by 25.

Making a flame whip, he pulled Dordoni in front of him.

As what seemed to be The Gates of Hell opened behind the boy.

Gabriel cocked his fist back...

Sparks of black could be seen flying everywhere...

Dordoni had lost contact with his Zanpakuto, meaning he was forcefully reverted back into his base state.

As the boy came toward him... a fire dragon behind him.

Dordoni did not feel scared.

"Bring it, niño!" the man's voice roared. He had no fear. Pouring every ounce of strength into his body, the man managed to release a—

"CERO!"

A/N....Gabriel does not play about his chocolate.

Anyway before anyone say shit, he is suppress as why he is doing that, he has hella power but no control over it.

So he is training his control.
