Before time, before form, before even the concept of existence—there was only the Primordial Sea.
A boundless, churning void of nothingness and infinite potential.
From this Abyss, He was born. Being the first being ever birthed by those seas, he saw himself as its rightful ruler—no one else was strong enough to do so.
Over millions of years, humans began to appear. Then Hollows. Quincies were also there; however, they were not awakened yet.
Anything that committed evil—when they died, they came to his realm. He was becoming powerful... too powerful.
One day, the being was bored and decided to do something with his time. Hollows suddenly gained a hunger for souls and began devouring human souls.
Some humans seemed to awaken the ability to manipulate Reishi and found a way to exterminate Hollow souls, though their method was rather crude.
It was as if they were a prototype for something.
That something not being born yet.
So for thousands of years, and thousands of loops, he would destroy the world, and the Primordial Sea would revert back to its original state—a state that did not allow for much change.
The end of all things was him. He was the destroyer. He was the strongest...
Some humans, trying to be like those humans (the ones who could somewhat control Reishi), would come borrowing power from his world (Hell).
Dark powers.
He even gifted them with Hell Butterflies.
There was just one risk to this power—anyone who went above a certain threshold... would come to his realm when they died.
Power came at a price.
He watched as they used that power to go to the Holy Land and kicked those people out.
Hm. War among souls was fun.
He was having fun... until—
That was until... one day...
As if the Primordial Sea or the greater consciousness of this universe had enough of being destroyed—
A Being was born.
A powerful soul... a soul by the name of Adyneus.
As if he was there to end everything that he stood for.
He would not allow it. His name was evil itself. He would refuse to have his fun ruined.
While Adyneus liked helping souls and protecting the weak, revered as some sort of god—
Luz'xipher.
A name derived from the whispers of the Abyss. A corruption of the divine. A perversion of light itself.
While Adyneus seemed to want to maintain the balance, he wanted to destroy it—like he always had, for millions of years.
And so, in the Primordial Sea, they fought.
For ten thousand years.
Every clash of their battle birthed new stars.
Every strike erased entire realities.
With every battle, he could feel himself being pushed—back and back into Hell. Adyneus refused to let him leave his domain. He would fight. Every fight would end in a draw.
A fucking draw. He did not accept draws, so he viewed every draw as a defeat.
And with every defeat, Luz'xipher grew stronger.
But the war could not continue forever.
Adyneus, in his wisdom, realized this.
He did not wish for eternal war. He desired something greater.
Creation.
And so, the Soul King could not allow him to roam free... but the Three Realms needed to be made.
The Soul Society, where souls would find peace.
The World of the Living, where they would be tested.
And Hueco Mundo, where the lost and forsaken would wander.
But Luz'xipher...
He could not be allowed to roam free.
And so, Adyneus and him fought once more.
They clashed for God knows how long... fighting so harshly, the realms shook.
Yet, the Soul King gained the advantage. And with that—
Bound him. Sealed him. Locked the gates forever.
After the fight, the Soul King was exhausted... tired, even. He had wasted nearly 90% of his Reiryoku in that fight. One thing about Luz'xipher was the simple fact that all of the Soul King's overpowered abilities were required to beat him—not optional. It was a requirement that one was this busted to hope to fight him.
The Soul King's Almighty was a bit useless against the man, as while he could see and change any future he saw, Luz'xipher could simply just destroy those futures.
The Miracle? Cancelled.
Imagination? Then Luz'xipher was writer's block.
Hm. Well, he needed to rest anyway. He would use all of his remaining power to keep the Three Realms stable.
First, he shall rest in this bed the nobles had offered him.
Hm. Oh nice, here they come. With swords...
For millions of years, the balance remained.
Luz'xipher raged. He struggled. But the chains held.
No matter what he did—he could not escape.
Until one day...
An idea struck him.
What if... he had a host?
Something—someone—to finally drag him out of those filthy chains that bastard Adyneus had thrown him into. The filthy fuck.
And so, he began plotting.
While war ravaged Soul Society and the Quincies had their heads shoved too far up their own asses to notice, a small, nearly imperceptible sliver of his power leaked into the human world.
Using that tiny fragment, he created a family.
A man—desperate, broken, and reeking of madness—sacrificed his soul in exchange for power. All he had to do was slaughter his entire family... alongside a few thousand innocents.
And just like that, the first Sanguinoso was born.
Yes. A whole bloodline, handcrafted for this one opportunity.
Now, all he needed was for someone—anyone—from that bloodline to become a Fullbringer. Shouldn't be too hard, considering he and Adyneus were...
Fuck that guy. The hate ran that deep.
He waited.
And then—she was born.
The mother of his perfect host.
Of course, in the past, thousands of babies had died. Their fragile souls couldn't handle becoming his vessel. Too weak. Too pure. Too... disappointing.
But not her.
He let the woman live—set her path in stone—because if she bore a girl, the bloodline could continue. The Sanguinoso had to go on.
Just to be sure, he arranged a suitable mate. A ruthless Yakuza hitman.
Why, you ask?
Simple.
He wanted the child born from that union to be evil. Corrupted. Broken from birth. Molded by sin before he could even speak.
The plan was perfect.
The child would be born and named Kagehito Sanguinoso.
The Bloody Shadow.
Not a person—but a thing. A concept. A shadow, cursed and tainted, destined to find his purpose... as a host.
That was the plan.
But something went wrong.
He wouldn't find out until later, but something had gone horribly, irreparably wrong.
This boy—he wasn't Kagehito. He wasn't raised by a Yakuza. Hell, he wasn't even fully Japanese.
And yet... that didn't matter.
The beast waited.
When he felt the boy feel despair, the beast sent his mom, now turned into a hell hollow in order to turn him, though in his mom point of view, all she saw was herself hugging her family.
When she was eating them, the second she passed the seed to Gabriel/Kagehito, it was now just a waiting game.
The beast waited.
Waited for the boy to fall, to hit rock bottom—when all hope had dried to dust.
He'd give in. He'd embrace the hunger. He'd become the very embodiment of evolution.
Hollows. A fascinating race. Monsters driven by pain, consumed by desire.
Kagehito would crave power. He'd either wage war on Soul Society or reduce the human world to ash.
Didn't matter which.
What mattered was the bald fuck would notice.
And he would act.
All in the name of "balance."
He'd erase the boy's name.
Once that happened—once the boy lost himself completely and drowned in the abyss—then, and only then, would the seal break.
And the beast would be free.
So he waited. And waited. And waited.
Smiling in the dark.
Always waiting.
For when the time was right...
When the boy stood on the brink of death, shattered, broken, his name erased from existence—
Luz'xipher would rise again.
And the Primordial War would resume.
Adyneus shall run him his fade once more.
A/N.....**Gasp**,Gabriel is the host to what Sora has to fight....i though I had spoiled to much when I said Sora and Gabriel were opposite, apperently I didn't,cause I feel like this will be a suprise for some, also yes, this was the goal from chapter 1.
All the hints were there.
When he decided to eat souls to get stronger [Devour]
That was not his hollow instinct screaming at him.
Even the [More]
...
I thought that obvious.
Really thought I threw it when under an author note I wrote [Adyneus has block this message].
Knowing full well y'all knew that in the Sora story Adyneus was a semi editor, as in he could block shit, thought that would ring some bell.
I better not hear any this came out of nowhere, or it rushed.
It's been there, for Christ sake he has been refer to as a demon king, I don't know how much more I could have shoved it down your throat.
Also don't know if yall notice but he is very smart, even said Ifrit, which if you look up what that name mean you will quickly find out why that name is related to hell.
Man was the one who though Gabriel about hell fire really.
For peeps on WEBNOVEL....look at the name of the second volume.
