Chapter 8 - 008 solution

Shizen, pushed to his limits, couldn't contain his anger anymore. Seeing the live streamer's mocking smirk, he lashed out and kicked them hard.

As Shizen lashed out, Koby stumbled back, their phone - still filming - capturing the whole interaction. The stream was still on, broadcasting the scene to Koby's hundreds of thousands of followers.

Koby, still recovering from Shizen's kick, ordered one of the people watching them to hold their phone and keep the camera rolling. "Yo, I need someone to hold this phone," they said, their voice strained as they pointed to their still-recording phone. "Don't stop filming."

Koby and Shizen squared off against each other, years of tension and frustration bubbling to the surface. Koby threw the first punch, aiming right for Shizen's jaw. Shizen dodged, countering with a quick jab to Koby's ribs. Koby grunted in pain, then retaliated with a sweeping roundhouse kick. A series of jabs, hooks, and blocks followed, each move captured in real-time by the ever-rolling camera. It was a fierce and relentless brawl, both fighters leaving nothing back. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, they both stumbled back, panting and weary.

Shizen gathered his final reserves of energy, launching a furious combo that left Koby completely off balance. Koby fell to the ground, dazed and winded from the barrage.

Shizen stood over them, a mix of anger and fatigue on his face. "You happy now?" he huffed, glaring down at the fallen streamer.

Koby sat up, their ego bruised along with their body. They winced in pain, but their voice still held a hint of sarcasm. "Yeah, sure, I'm thrilled," they muttered, shooting a resentful look up at Shizen.

Seeing that they were clearly outmatched and no longer had the upper hand, Koby had enough sense to recognize when they needed to retreat. They pushed themselves up from the ground, their movements sluggish and pained.

"You know what, I'm not dealing with this," Koby grumbled, trying to put on a tough facade despite their obvious exhaustion.

Shizen watched as Koby stumbled away, their body clearly battered and bruised. His own adrenaline was beginning to subside, replaced by a weary tiredness.

Juyo and Kinya stood beside him, their eyes wide as they had watched the whole ordeal. "Wow," Juyo muttered, clearly still shocked.

The next morning, as they checked the news, Shizen, Juyo, and Kinya found Koby's livestream had indeed gone viral. People were sharing it everywhere, the fight and Koby's humiliation spreading like wildfire.

"Hey, look," Kinya said, a mix of awe and surprise in her voice. She showed them her phone, playing the now-viral clip of yesterday's fight. It was crazy to think that it had happened just a day before, yet it was already a sensation on social media.

Shizen sat there, mind racing with the idea of how to raise money quickly. That's when it hit him – what if he started an account on Newtob, the popular social media platform, and made some extra cash? It was a long shot, but he was desperate.

Shizen shared his plan with Kinya and Juyo. They were shocked at first, but seeing his desperation, they agreed to help. Kinya, with her smartphone ready, volunteered to film, and Juyo, always the supportive friend, promised to have Shizen's back against any opponents they might face.

Shizen and his friends visited his mother in the hospital, armed with a plan to cover the payments. They explained their scheme, and his mother was grateful for his determination but also worried about his safety.

Despite his mother's concern and warning, Shizen was adamant on pursuing this plan. He brushed off her worries, saying he would be fine. He left with Kinya and Juyo, determination in his eyes.

With the new plan in motion, Shizen, Juyo and Kinya decided on the name for their new Newtob account. They picked "THE GFOAT," which stood for the 'Greatest Fighter of all Time'. It was a bold statement, but they felt it was fitting considering the fights they were getting into.

Shizen, Kinya, and Juyo began searching on Newtob for the next opponent. They wanted to find someone strong, but not overpowered. After some scrolling, they came across an account that seemed to fit the bill. It belonged to a user named "Rengou," known for their impressive fighting skills.

They reached out to Rengou through a direct message on Newtob, challenging him to a fight. Surprisingly, Rengou was intrigued and agreed, excited to test his skills against this new trio.

Rengou didn't waste any time and immediately set the date for the fight, giving Shizen a week to prepare. Shizen knew that one week wasn't much time, so he quickly got to training, determined to do everything he could to gear up for the big match.

Shizen was racking his brain trying to figure out what martial art Rengou could use. He briefly thought about asking Kinya, but quickly dismissed the idea since Rengou was from a different university. Despite being desperate for information, there was no way he could discreetly figure it out.

Kinya chimed in, sensing his anxiety, "Shizen, you don't always need to know the enemy's martial art. You could just focus on honing your skills, no matter what style you know." Her advice came as a reassurance. She didn't want him to stress too much about Rengou's fighting style, especially given the short time he had to prepare.

Juyo, the voice of reason, interjected, "Why not focus on the fundamentals, like MMA? Even if we don't know Rengou's style, having a strong foundation is always good." He pointed out the logic in his statement, which made Shizen think for a moment. Maybe Juyo was right. Maybe he should focus on mastering the basics of each martial art rather than trying to figure out Rengou's specific style.

After a moment of contemplation, Shizen finally agreed with Kinya and Juyo. He decided that focusing on master the basics of MMA rather than worrying about Rengou's specific style would be the best course of action. "Alright," he said, "let's focus on MMA then."
