Chapter 82 - SSS-Rank Dungeon Part IV

Raiden Arakawa, the Storm Emperor, who had been observing from a distance, suddenly stepped forward. He raised his hands to the sky, and dark clouds began to gather above, crackling with the power of the storm.

In one swift motion, a massive lightning bolt shot from the heavens, aimed straight at the beast's back. The thunderous strike hit, momentarily paralyzing the creature, and allowing Alexander to land another brutal punch to its exposed abdomen.

As Raiden's lightning faded, Ji Seong-Ho, the Celestial Blade, was next to react. With a focused burst of energy, he dashed forward in a blur of motion. He drew a gleaming sword, one that pulsed with ethereal energy. His blade cleaved through the air, cutting into the beast's side with precision. The abyssal creature howled, thrashing against the attack.

Leon's group continued to deal with the lesser beasts, but the national-level hunters had formed an unbreakable wall of power around Alexander.

Gabriel, using his mage-type abilities, summoned protective light barriers around Alexander, ensuring the Titan could continue to dish out his unrelenting attacks without being overwhelmed by the Abyssal beast's strikes.

"Hold steady!" Gabriel shouted, his voice a calm anchor amidst the chaos, as he continued to send waves of Radiant Pulses to weaken the creature's resolve.

The battle raged on, with the abyssal beast towering over Alexander Graves. Its massive claws slashed toward him with a speed that defied its size, but Alexander stood firm, his fists raised, prepared to intercept the attack.

Gabriel Dela Cruz, the radiant mage, was quick to react. His hands moved in swift, precise gestures, conjuring brilliant light that erupted into a defensive barrier, intercepting the beast's swipe just as it was about to land.

The magic was strong, but the impact still shook the air, and Gabriel's brow furrowed as he focused, adding more power to the shield.

"I've got your back, Graves!" Gabriel shouted, his voice calm but intense.

Alexander grinned, his knuckles cracking as he clenched his fists even tighter. "I know, I know. Just keep that barrier up!"

The beast roared, fury in its eyes, as it shifted its focus from Alexander to the others. But the national-level hunters were quick on their feet. Raiden Arakawa, known as the Storm Emperor, moved in with his unmatched speed, landing blows that crackled with electric energy, momentarily stunning the creature.

The storm of his strikes added a sense of urgency to the fight as the abyssal beast stumbled, reeling from the electric shocks that surged through its body.

"Keep it off Graves!" Raiden barked, his voice thunderous. "It's vulnerable in the center. Hit it there!"

As if on cue, Gabriel lifted his hands once more, sending bolts of radiant light directly at the beast's core, where Raiden had indicated. Each strike ignited the creature's flesh with fiery brilliance, pushing it back further.

With every blow from Alexander, the monster seemed to stagger. But the creature's strength was not to be underestimated, and with a brutal swipe, it caught Alexander off guard, sending him sprawling to the ground.

"Graves!" Raiden shouted, his voice filled with urgency. "Get up!"

Gabriel's light shield flickered, its energy draining from the continuous barrage, but he kept his focus on protecting the team. "We can't let it get away," he muttered under his breath.

Alexander groaned, slowly pushing himself up, his armor dented and scorched. But the fire in his eyes was far from extinguished. "It'll take more than that to bring me down," he muttered, brushing dust from his hands. "Let's finish this."

Together, the national-level hunters advanced, their coordination a beautiful display of raw power and tactical precision. As the beast roared again, a thunderous crescendo of elemental forces and martial mastery began to overwhelm it.

Gabriel's radiant light, Raiden's electrified fists, and Alexander's indomitable will combined into a perfect storm, pushing the abyssal creature back further with each passing second.

The ground shook as the last of the abyssal beast's roars faded into the cavernous depths of the dungeon. A tense silence hung in the air as the dust settled, the aftermath of the battle echoing through the once dark, oppressive atmosphere.

Alexander Graves stood at the forefront, his massive frame heaving with exhaustion, though his expression remained stoic. The impact of his blows had shattered the beast's outer shell, but it had taken the combined efforts of the other National Level Hunters to ensure its downfall.

Gabriel Dela Cruz, standing nearby, wiped a bead of sweat from his brow, his mage-like presence still crackling with energy. Despite his usual calm demeanor, his face showed the strain of the fight.

His spells had shredded through the beast's defenses, adding pressure to the monster as it turned its focus toward Alexander.

"Nice work, Graves," Gabriel said, his voice steady despite the exertion. He nodded to the tank-like hunter, a silent acknowledgment of the teamwork.

Alexander grunted in acknowledgment, brushing dust off his shirt. "Just doing what I do best."

Raiden Arakawa, the Storm Emperor, approached them, his usual air of calm mixed with a rare hint of approval. "That was close. But we've taken down the first one. No sign of others for now, but we can't let our guard down."

Ji Seong-Ho, the Celestial Blade, stood beside Raiden, his sharp eyes scanning the surroundings, already preparing for whatever would come next. "The dungeon is still shifting. It's not over."

The air felt heavier now. The first beast had been a formidable foe, but the national level hunters knew that this was merely a warm-up. As much as the Abyssal Tyrant's servants had been terrifying, the real battle still awaited them.

Leon Vael turned, his eyes narrowing as he surveyed the area. His voice rang clear to the gathered S-rank hunters. "We need to move forward. It's only a matter of time before the Abyssal Tyrant shows itself. We can't afford to linger."

He gestured for the team to stay alert and push deeper into the dungeon. The S-rank hunters moved quickly, their elite coordination already in motion, leaving the National-level hunters to recover and reinforce the outer perimeter.
