Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Scattered Clones

"Oh, look who is the cutest hero ever~" Inko Midoriya cooed as she tidied up her son's costume.

"I-I am." Izuku bashfully smiled under the care of his mother. In colors of yellow, red, white, and blue, he was currently wearing a kid's costume that matches the theme of Japan's No. 1 Pro Hero, the Symbol of Peace himself, All Might!

On the way to the scheduled play date, Izuku, upon seeing this costume at the store, begged his mother to buy it.

Helpless, Inko bought the costume, putting away Izuku's cute little suit in the back of the car and letting him wear the hero outfit instead.

"What am I gonna do with you?" Inko sighed, softly patting her son's head.

Izuku kept smiling. His eyes beaming, wondering what Yuki will say when he sees him.

He will definitely be surprised, right? After all, he's dressed as the number one hero!

Turning to the door, Inko knocked on the door as her son held her hand, standing right beside her like a little duckling.

"Yes, coming!" as the door to the house opened, revealing a woman with short silver hair and gray eyes.

Upon seeing the pair at the door, the woman cheerfully greeted them. "Hi, Inko!"

"Good afternoon, Natsumi, thanks for having us over!" Inko smiled.

Natsumi then noticed the little figure hiding behind Inko's legs.

Izuku shook, before shaking his head in determination. If it was All Might, he would have no fear showing himself, and with this thought, he stepped out into the open with his chest puffed up and hands resting on his hips.

Seeing the boy strike a silly heroic pose made both women coo softly.

"Oh, and look what we have here…" bending down slightly, hands on her knees, Natsumi Aoi studied the proud looking figure in the dashing costume.

"Oh~" She briefly turned around to call another person inside the house. "Tadashi! Look who paid us a visit!"

A man with black hair with a small trimmed mustache peeked out the door.

"Oh. Oh, hey. I know this one…" Tadashi Aoi walked out of the house, looking down at Izuku in interest.

Izuku, losing breath from puffing up his chest, still kept that strong posture on.

"Yeah. Isn't that… the greatest superhero ever!" Tadashi asked.

"Yup, he is-" Natsumi started before she almost stumbled in shock from her husband's answer.

"Yeah, Endeavor!" Tadashi gushed. "I love it when he goes, "Binding roots, chain prison!!!"

The scene fell silent.

You called him Endeavor… and you mentioned the quirk of Kamui Woods! Natsumi's face twitched, Inko was still politely smiling, a bit awkward now.

The worst one in this situation was, of course, Izuku.

Endeavor, Endeavor, Endeavor… Izuku deflated, staring into the air with the saddest look a kid could muster.

Natsumi smiled quickly, her arms waving randomly in the air, "I-Izuku, honey, just… um. Go play with, Yuki! He's probably waiting for you in his room. You know where it is!" instead of waiting for some unknown outburst to happen, she quickly pulled her guests inside, locking the door in the end.

Tadashi, who was about to enter, "..."

A bit depressed, Izuku still made his way to Yuki's bedroom, happily thinking on what Yuki's expression will be once he sees his costume, but on his way there, a certain picture frame that he passed caused him to do a double take, making him snap his neck back to it, almost breaking the speed of sound.

Izuku Might, froze, even rubbing his eyes.

He took a step closer, one of the tables in the house, on the counter-top with a bunch of photos of the Aoi family, was a framed picture of…

"Kacchan?" Izuku hesitated.

It was his childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugo, but what got his mouth dropping was that Kacchan was at the beach, as a mermaid, tail shimmering in the sunlight, striking a rather… suggestive pose, with his back against the sand.

All the while having the most absurd smile, Izuku had ever seen, when facing the camera.

Izuku's lips thinned.

He shook his head, and kept walking, but that was when…

Another picture appeared in his sight of view, this time it was hanging against the wall, it was a picture of Katsuki as a chef, holding a tray of exploding cookies with his signature scowl.

And then another picture just around the corner, it was Katsuki in a superhero outfit, cape and a large afro on his head blowing rather dramatically behind him as he soared in the air.

Izuku rubbed his eyes.

And then he came across Katsuki as a unicorn, prancing in a grassy field with the sweetest of smiles in his gallops.

Giving the picture the longest glance with disbelief. Izuku made his way.

Katsuki as a cowboy, Katsuki as a wizard, Katsuki as a shirtless bodyguard…

Izuku was slowly losing his mind from seeing all these photos, and why was Yuki's name printed in the bottom of each and every one of them?!

Finally arriving to Yuki's bedroom, Izuku looked at the doorknob with a bad feeling in his heart.

He hesitantly lifted his hand up, grasped the doorknob. He took a deep breath before opening the door, he came across a sight so odd that he couldn't believe he was actually seeing!

There was Yuki, covered in paint, as he drew and colored onto a sheet of paper, and all around him were-!

"Why… Why are there pictures of Kacchan in your room!" Izuku held his head in shock.

Yuki looked at Izuku with a goofy grin, holding the Grade 3 cursed tool, 'Painters Dippy pen', he then finished the last touches of his new work. He lifted up the drawing to reveal a… female Kacchan?! And she was saying "My sweet, Deku." in bold text!

Izuku Might almost fell down.

Yuki: "Lol."

...o0o...

Not just at the Aoi's household, but in the Nishimiya household, while Momo's parents greeted Katsuki's own, Katsuki was beginning to lose his mind as well!

"Why do you have several pictures of freaking, Deku, in your house!" a vein was popping out from his head. Katsuki was so close to releasing a mega explosion in the vicinity.

Coming over for lunch in the weekend, instead of being greeted by that annoying shortie, he was ambushed by a bunch of different photos of Izuku Midoriya!

Izuku as a goblin, Izuku as a rockstar, Izuku as a banana, Izuku as a knight, and many more! It was drawn from crayons, but why do they look so realistic!

But the one that got the most irritation out of Katsuki, was a picture of freaking Deku as All Might!

Deku, in All Might's attire, faced the most dangerous of criminals in his muscular form, the bold text 'Plus Ultra!' was written on the side along with the name of Momo Nishimiya, as its drawer!

This made Katsuki almost go into a meltdown!

He soon entered Momo's bedroom, looking at the little menace, who was drawing without a care in the world.

Momo, laying in her cute pink bed, surrounded by her stuffed animal collection and other cutesy toys, paused in her drawing. She set down the Grade 2 cursed tool, 'Crayon's delight', before revealing her latest work to her visitor.

It was a picture of a female Izuku, looking shyly at…

Katsuki was shaking, desperately refraining from throwing an explosion and being kicked out when seeing that in the picture, female loser Deku was literally looking at him with the grossest of looks, muttering, "Kacchan, don't…"

Don't… what the hell do you mean don't?!

Katsuki: "Momo!"

Momo: "LMAO. Chill, it's not that serious, dawg~"

Katsuki: "?!?!?!"

...o0o...

In the Shiozaki's flower shop, as the parents were managing the shop at the counter. Two identical girls, twins, wandered around the store, stopping to reorganize any plants that were out in line, then rearranging them into neat rows.

Sunlight filtered through the glass planes, allowing each and every plant in the store to have a sufficient amount of sunlight to grow.

The warm glow also hovered over the girls' presence.

This was Ibara and Hanami Shiozaki, two twins that were as close to each other just like how nature is with the environment.

They have the same face, but unlike Ibara whose hair turned into vines, Hanami had straight black flowing hair, with two sharp branches poking out from her head like horns.

Seeing the two girls work together, their parents smiled from the distance, their attention turning away briefly to greet the customers visiting.

In a sense, the shop seemed so peaceful that both the Shiozaki family, and their customers, had relaxed postures with smiles.

"Ibara…" Hanami softly called over her sister.

Ibara pushed the flower pot back into view, then waddled over to her sister with her little legs.

"Hm?" Ibara blinked cutely.

Hanami was quiet as she stepped aside, sadly looking at a specific flower in a pot.

Or… what's left of the flower, the last petal disconnecting from the wilted branch, falling slowly to the ground.

Ibara watched as Hanami suddenly rushed downwards, catching the pink petal.

Hanami then stood quietly, gently brushing the last petal this flower had to offer. "Do you… ever think about how much plants… How much does nature help us?"

Seeing her sister tilt her head, Hanami sighed as she gently lifted the petal up, laying a soft kiss carefully, as if afraid of bringing more harm to the flower, then setting it on the dirt beside the wilted stem, from the very pot it grew from.

Ibara's dark green eyes looked curiously at the petal. "What do you mean, sister?"

Instead of answering, Hanami reached out, grasping the side of the pot, and upon pulling it from the shelf, she turned to her dear sister once more.

"Nature is everywhere, in the air we breathe such as oxygen from plants. It is in the food that allows us to have our tummies full, medicine that uses greens to heal us. The air, the earth, the ocean, it is all around us, and they…" Hanami sighed, her fingers tracing against the delicate curve of the fallen petal.

A somber mood fell on Hanami, "They gave us so much, but most people… humans… don't even notice them or acknowledge them, they just simply use it and discard it in the end, once their usage has been… completed."

Although she was a bit confused, Ibara nodded. Nature is beautiful, and it does help them alot. It also helps mommy and daddy earn money to keep the house running.

And then, to Ibara's amazement, Hanami had done something that caused her little eyes to widen.

With another soft kiss from Hanami onto the plant, the wilted flower suddenly bloomed!

It grew even bigger and stronger than before, more alive than before, more… beautiful…

"This flower is called, Kosumosu," Hanami lovingly looked at the pink petals that swayed, as if thanking Hanami for giving it another chance in life. "A flower which represents peace and tranquility. So remember this…"

Hanami then offered the pot to her sister.

Ibara silently took the pot, her eyes gleaming as she looked at the pretty petals that were on display.

"Nature is what makes the world a better place. Don't forget that." Hanami said in a sage-like tone.

Ibara nodded her head like a chicken, "Will do, sister!"

...o0o...

Far away from the Shiozaki flowershop, in an abandoned factory that loomed in the middle of discarded waste, entered a pale skin boy with messy, grayish-blue hair.

This was Tomura Shigaraki, the supposed 'heir' to All For One.

After being given a break from the lessons that were provided by his master, Tomura decided to head off.

In this abandoned factory lies a secret, a secret that even he never told his master about.

With bags under his tired eyes, Tomura looked around in the darkness with hesitation.

"Mahito. Mahito, are you there?"

After a few seconds, a child's laughter echoed through the empty space. "I'm here, I'm here. Don't get your panties in a twist."

The usually serious Tomura pouted. "I don't wear panties…"

"Oh, you probably will," out from the shadows, a young shirtless boy in nothing but pants came out, his bare feet touching the ground without a care in the world. "When you meet my pet that is."

Tomura raised an eyebrow.

The boy was just like Tomura, with pale skin and gray hair. But unlike Tomura, across the boy's figure were patches that ran across his very own skin, as if his own body was stitched together by just lines of threads alone.

A pair of eyes stared back at Tomura, the left eye was dark blue, and the right eye was gray.

The gaze was calculative, as if looking at a specimen to study.

But under such a gaze, Tomura then gave out a big smile. "Mahito!"

Yes, this was Tomura's greatest secret that he hid from his master, this was Mahito, his only… friend.

See, a friend! He can have one too!

In despair from the curse his quirk casted upon him, although Tomura was soon taken in by his master, he felt so lonely.

Sure, he has master, but... that wasn't enough.

He won't lie, he was a bit greedy for company...

He needed someone to talk to, someone to confide with his feelings, right when he was searching for an answer… he appeared.

A boy who was just as cursed as he was in this world.

Tomura, anything he touches will rot and decay.

But Mahito, anything he touches will be morphed into a creation that reeks of sadness and guilt.

He was just like him.

Their hands both holds curses! And Mahito, Mahito understood him. He understood his pain... his suffering...

And that was why he was his bestest friend!

Tomura went to Mahito excitedly, but a growl from the darkness paused his steps.

Right beside Mahito lumbered a big grotesque, green colored, dog-like monster. It's body was twisted and malformed with six eyes on its face, each and every one was locked onto Tomura.

The creature growled slowly, opening its mouth to reveal the dozen of sharp teeth that were as sharp as blades.

"Ah. Ah. Ah. Be good, Haru." Mahito admonished, patting the monster's head affectionately, as if it were a pet. "He's a friend. We don't hurt friends. Now do we?"

Haru growled, in the end, still lowering its head to allow his master to pet him.

Usually, when children see such a creature, they would cower in fear, pee their pants, or call out for their parents.

Tomura, however, looked on in interest. "Is it a person?"

Mahito pouted. Not scared, huh.

"Hm." Mahito lifted his head up, "Oh no. This is a bundle of three… unfortunate starving dogs that decided to stop by here for a rest, and sadly for them, their little trip will last a little bit longer than expected."

Tomura reached a hand out, through the guidance of the lessons he benefited from his master, his quirk deactivated, and then he felt up the skin of the monster in front of him.

The skin seemed so rough… Tomura thought slightly.

"Well, look what we have here, a pair of little boys that escaped from the priest's house." a female voice shot through the area.

Mahito looked to the side with a calm look, while Haru and Tomura looked at the intruder with cold looks.

Tomura was enraged. Who the hell was this person that showed up unnoticed and dared to enter his friend's territory!

Why I ought to...!

But as the figure approached and entered the light, Tomura's eyes widened.

He swiftly covered his eyes and turned around, a small embarrassed blush tinting his cheeks. "Who are you and why are you naked?!"

The little girl, that was as naked as the day that she was born, smirked under the light that drifted into the factory.

She ran a hand through her long pink hair and whipped it to the side. Her eyes were a bit special, unlike any that Tomura has ever seen, having black sclera and dark pink irises.

And these captivating eyes were targeted at the two boys and that freak they call a pet.

"I'm Takako Uro, and you punks will-" Takako was interrupted as Tomura shouted again.

"I don't care what your name is, put some clothes on!" Tomura peeked for a second, and seeing that what was in front of him was real, he turned away with a large scowl, his cheeks turning even more red.

As a kid, this scene was too much for him to handle. How was he supposed to react?!

This sentence, however, made Takako angry.

"Why should I?!" She pointed angrily to a grinning Mahito. "He isn't wearing a shirt!"

"Yeah, but he's a boy! You're… you're a girl!" Tomura shouted back.

"A girl more beautiful than any flower grown in japan, a girl whose skin was blessed by the moonlight itself, a girl whose own beauty shocks even the cosmos…" Takako ranted proudly, spreading her legs and arms to the side, laughing wickedly in the air.

"I AM BEAUTY INCARNATE ITSELF! HAHAHAHAHA!"

"MAHITO!" this scene was too much for an already trauma induced kid to handle, "DO SOMETHING ABOUT HER!"

"Laughing my ass off!" Mahito turned to Tomura with the wildest of grins stretching across his face. "I REFUSE!"

"AAAAAGH!" Tomura cried out in anger and embarrassment.

In front of him, both Mahito and Takako started laughing at the boy's miserable appearance.

Mahito: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! GUESS IN THE END YOU'RE STILL A CHILD AFTER ALL! HAHAHAHA!"

Takako: "HAHAHAHAHAHA! AWWWW, WHITTLE BOY CAN'T HANDLE THE PICTURE OF REAL BEAUTY! OH, YOU GONNA CWWRY WHITTLE BWAAAABY~ HEEHEHEHEHAHAHA!"

"I HATE BOTH OF YOU!" Tomura shouted with closed eyes, he then looked at the vicious monster who stayed silent beside Mahito.

"My best friend, Haru, do something!"

Haru's six eyes looked at Tomura then at the two psychos.

One was his master and the other was some crazy chick who ran into the scene.

Haru's face squinted with resolve, and to Tomura's shock, the monster that looked like it can eat and devour several adults, chose to turn around and squat its rump against the ground.

Choosing to avoid the world around him and look off into the distance, as if remembering a more peaceful life in this world.

Tomura's lips twitched as his friend and the naked girl's laughter grew more louder and wilder.

Master! Tomura suddenly teared up! I'm done playing outside, I want to go home!

Silently, when Tomura wasn't looking, the eyes of Mahito and Takako glowed in unison.

...o0o...

In the flower shop, Hanami's eyes glowed softly when her sister wasn't looking.

...o0o...

In their respective households, while Izuku and Katsuki were distracted, Yuki and Momo's eyes also glowed with cursed energy that only they could see.

...o0o...

Yuki smirked, rubbing his chin as he stared at Izuku, who was now watching a superhero cartoon on tv.

In this life, who says that he could only play the hero, how about being the villain too?

Just like in that one cartoon he watched, where a teacher took her students on magical field trips in a magic school bus…

"Take chances. Make mistakes!" - Ms. Frizzle.

So, why not take a bet on the future!

"Lets…" the glow in Yuki's eyes died down, as his fellow clones soon followed after. "Begin the show… I was just a random person in my last life, but all I need to know now is that in this life, things will get interesting!"

"Guys. Girls. Well, in the end, you are me, and I am you, so… let's truly curse the world, together!"

Izuku, who saw the hero winning in the show, looked happily in Yuki's direction, seeing Yuki also looking happy made him happy too!

He pointed at the tv with a large smile. "Look, Yuki! He beat the villain back with just a single punch!"

Yuki grinned in response.

"Boys, lunch is ready!" Yuki's mom called out to them.

"Izuku, come and eat!" Inko yelled.

"Hurry up, or I'll eat everything~!" Yuki's dad sang out.

"Lunch time!" Yuki stood up, running past Izuku with excitement.

"Last one there kisses female katsuki!" Yuki screamed with a giggle.

Izuku froze, his eyes drifting to the drawing of girly kacchan looking at him.

Izuku shivered, he didn't know where, but energy flowed within him, running through his veins!

With his arms swung back, and a single leap, Izuku ran like his life depended on it!

"P-Plus Ultra!!!"

Yuki: "?!?!"

Oh, poor Katsuki, lol, even Izuku doesn't want you~
