Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Confronting Danzo Head-On, With Shisui as the Target

(T/N: Here's an extra chapter for you all.)

"Besides, I really don't understand—why, Koharu-sama, are you so eager to boost the enemy's morale while dampening our own?"

"The Hidden Cloud Village is full of powerful ninjas, but does that mean we in Konoha are just a bunch of weaklings?"

"You say that Kumo has a Jinchuriki, but so do we!"

"So what exactly is there to fear?"

Every word he spoke was sharp and imposing, leaving even the surrounding Uchiha dumbfounded.

Shisui and Itachi stared at him, their eyes as wide as saucers.

Kaze had always been a marginal figure within the clan—kind, polite, the type to never offend anyone, the classic 'nice guy.'

But today… why was he suddenly so bold?

Was he really taking on Konoha's higher-ups all by himself?

Koharu was completely speechless, left choking on her own words.

"You must be referring to Uzumaki Naruto."

At this critical moment, it was Mitokado Homura who finally spoke up.

It was worth noting…

On the night of the Nine-Tails' attack, the Fourth Hokage sacrificed his life to seal the beast inside his own son, Naruto, making him the village's Jinchuriki.

Although Sarutobi Hiruzen had ordered that no one discuss Naruto's status as a Jinchuriki, the truth was that aside from Naruto and his peers, nearly everyone in the village knew.

"Naruto is only five years old—just a child. Are you suggesting we send him to the battlefield?"

Homura's face was stern, his voice filled with righteous indignation.

As if sending a five-year-old to war would be an act of sheer cruelty.

"What a joke."

Kaze scoffed coldly. "So Naruto is just five years old, huh?"

"Has old age affected your memory, Homura-dono?"

"During the Third Shinobi War, wasn't I sent to the battlefield at five?"

"Itachi was only four when he went."

"Why didn't you say back then that we were just children who should be kept away from war?"

"Oh, I get it. You probably want to say that Naruto has no parents, right?"

"Well, I watched my own parents die right before my eyes."

"And at that time, who was it that told us Uchiha that everything was for the village?"

"But now, when it's Naruto's turn to step up for the village, suddenly he's just a child?"

"Or is it because he comes from a noble lineage?"

As he said this, a rush of emotion surged through him. His Sharingan flared to life, its crimson color illuminating the room with a menacing glow.

(T/N: Jeez bro's cooking.)

Homura's face instantly turned red with fury, the veins on his forehead bulging.

Even though he was only fifteen now, before arriving in this world, he had already watched the entirety of Naruto.

Since he had rehearsed his speech beforehand, every word Kaze spoke was precise and impactful.

Exposing the hypocrisy of Konoha's higher-ups was a natural consequence.

On the other hand, Konoha Village was, after all, just a small village.

Its population rarely exceeded one hundred thousand.

The higher-ups of Konoha had remained largely unchanged since the First Hokage's time.

Their perspective, their scope, was naturally limited to the level of the village.

In contrast, Kaze, as a transmigrator, had a vastly different perspective—one shaped by experiences from a different world. He had seen things from a broader view, having lived through different situations and challenges. He understood tactics, strategies, and philosophies that the people of Konoha hadn't been exposed to.

(T/N: I had to rewrite this entire part. Damn Chinese superiority complex. You are welcome.)

For his first argument on negligence, he stood firmly on the legal grounds of the Konoha Guard.

For his second argument on the Jinchuriki, he had no qualms about using his own parents' death to secure the moral high ground.

As long as the Konoha higher-ups still cared about morality, he would remain unbeatable.

"You're completely missing the point."

When Homura suddenly fell silent, Danzo immediately spoke up.

He leaned slightly forward, elbows resting on the table, his hand against his chin, exuding an air of superiority as he scrutinized Kaze.

A tense, charged atmosphere filled the room.

"Even if we were to send Naruto to the battlefield against the Cloud Ninja, with his current abilities, he would not be able to control the Nine-Tails' power."

Seeing Kaze try to bring up age, Danzo quickly shifted the argument, emphasizing that it wasn't about age but about power.

It had to be said, Danzo's mind was much quicker than Koharu and Homura's.

Upon hearing his words, Koharu and Homura both let out a sigh of relief.

Otherwise, it would have been quite embarrassing to be outwitted by a mere child like Kaze.

But…

Danzo's response was exactly what Kaze had expected.

No…

It wasn't just expected. The reason he had been so high-profile was precisely to force Danzo into confronting him about the Nine-Tails issue!

Once the topic shifted in this direction, anything Kaze said would no longer seem out of place.

With this thought in mind, Kaze smiled faintly.

"Danzo-dono!"

Kaze clasped his hands together in a formal gesture, "You're right, Naruto can't control the Nine-Tails' power right now."

"But that doesn't mean Konoha can't control the Nine-Tails' power."

"With the Sharingan, we can cast genjutsu on the Nine-Tails and fully utilize its power."

"Forget the Two-Tails, Three-Tails, Four-Tails, and Eight-Tails—compared to the Nine-Tails, they're nothing but little siblings!"

These words hit like a thunderclap, reverberating through the small conference room!

Not only did the faces of the Four Fossils immediately change,

But Uchiha Fugaku, Shisui, Itachi, and others also turned as pale as paper!

This Kaze truly had no fear of speaking his mind!

Did he even realize what he was saying?

The reason the Uchiha clan's district was located on the outskirts of the village was because, during the Nine-Tails' attack, the Konoha higher-ups had suspected the Uchiha were involved!

This was practically a forbidden topic!

"Shut up, Kaze!"

Fugaku, in a moment of panic, shouted loudly, trying to get Kaze to stop talking and silence him.

But in reality, Kaze was fully aware of the situation.

He knew it better than anyone else.

Although in the future, Hiruzen hoped that Sasuke's Sharingan could help Naruto control the Nine-Tails, at this time, both Hiruzen and Danzo were deeply concerned about any friction between the Uchiha clan and the Nine-Tails!

"What did you say?"

"Use the Sharingan's genjutsu to control the Nine-Tails?"

Danzo squinted his left eye. He had always been highly distrustful of the Uchiha clan.

Now, hearing Kaze's words, a murderous intent stirred within him.

Any Uchiha who dared to turn their attention toward the Nine-Tails was an immense threat to Konoha!

At this moment, not only was Fugaku flustered, but the other Uchiha were also panicking. They quickly tried to stop Kaze from speaking further.

A few of them even rushed to explain.

They claimed that trying to use genjutsu to control a Jinchuriki was utterly impossible.

They hoped that Danzo and Hiruzen wouldn't take Kaze's words seriously.

The reason Kaze had spoken like this was because he hadn't activated his Sharingan yet and didn't understand its full power—so his words were just nonsense.

"Indeed." Hearing his clan members say this, Kaze nodded slightly in agreement.

"Generally speaking, the genjutsu from a normal three-tomoe Sharingan cannot control a Jinchuriki."

"Because the Nine-Tails can disrupt the Jinchuriki's chakra flow, breaking the genjutsu."

"However, as with everything, there are exceptions."

"If you upgrade the three-tomoe Sharingan to the Mangekyō Sharingan, you will be able to control the Nine-Tails' power."

At this point, Kaze stood up, turned toward Shisui, and said slowly, emphasizing every word.

"Take my brother, Uchiha Shisui, for example. He's the wielder of the Mangekyō Sharingan."

"If it were his genjutsu, not only could he control the Nine-Tails' power and use it at will, but I even believe he could change the will of the Jinchuriki themselves."

(T/N: So...Umm..., Right, Just throw Logic out the window. CN Bullshit level: Over 9000! But seriously, WTF? Is no one going to ask how he knows about Shisui's Mangekyō? No questions? Nada? Okay, I'll stop the rant here—let's move on before my remaining braincells decide to leave.)

I paused for a moment, my gaze fixed on Danzo, before continuing with deliberate calmness, "That's why I think Koharu-sama's words are off the mark."

"Though the Hidden Cloud Village has a wealth of skilled shinobi, we have Shisui-sama on our side."

"If I'm not mistaken, the last person to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan was the legendary Uchiha Madara."

With my words praising Shisui, the room grew unnervingly quiet.

Uchiha Shisui himself froze, a cold sweat trickling down his back.

Suddenly, there was this strange feeling—like Kaze had just sold him out.

(T/N: This took a while, I had to rewrite many things. Lost a lot of brain cells, still failed to fix the root problem but managed to make bro cook almost everyone in the room. Anyway hope you enjoyed it or regretted reading it.)
