Star City:
BANE POV
*CRUNCH*
"Pinche pendeja! That motherfucker be fucking with my money!" Bane shouted. He was extremely pissed that he destroyed his phone while Deadshot was talking to him over it. Not only was he forced to work with another individual, but his "partner" basically exposed them to Luthor. This cost them the element of surprise.
Bane had an elaborate plan in place. He had paid off the major city official to block off a portion of Star City. The city official stated the reason why a large area was blocked off was due to a gas leak. Bane would then corral Luthor into it and once inside he would prevent him from escaping and eventually kill him. With all the damage and loud noises, he would have the official simply blame that the gas leak had gone off.
However, now that the plan was over before it even started, he would have to create a new plan. Many underestimated him due to his appearance. They simply wrote him off as an oaf or a roided-up monster, but that was far from the truth. Instead, he was considered a genius with an extremely high IQ and had an eidetic memory. However, he never corrected anybody since their underestimation of him would be his opponent's downfall.
He needed to see where Luthor was right now. He saw the coordinates that Deadshot had sent him. As of right now, they were on the road, although he and his men could still catch up to him since he knew Luthor had arrived in a limousine. He had with him 15 trained men fully equipped with M4A1s, plate carriers, and motorcycles.
"Get ready men! Get on your vehicles and prepare to head out within 10 minutes. I have sent you guys the tracking device that is attached to our target. If we are successful, we will dine as kings!"
His trained men started preparing quickly. With or without Deadshot's help, he was going to get Luthor's head by the end of the day.
MY POV:
"Mercy! How far are we before we get to the plane station we need to get out of here immediately!"
"It will take about 30 to 45 minutes to get to the nearest plane station Lex just stay buckled up!" Mercy commanded. This was insane! Is this what it was like to be living as a character in the DC universe? All the comics, anime, and even fanfiction always made it seem like once someone was isekaid that everything was going to go my way. I even believe that these past 6 months have been nothing short but amazing. However, here I am now fleeing from an infamous supervillain.
I was trying to remain calm and find a solution, and the only thing I could think of was to use that even though it was not completed. Yes, Deadshot did not have any fancy powers, but with his combat ability, he could kill all my special forces agents before we could even escape. I raised my wrist to my face and said out loud, "S.E.B.A.S activate!"
A whirling sound arose and an English gentleman-like voice greeted me, "Hello master how may I serve you today?"
"I need you to send in Project: Iron as soon as possible", I urgently requested.
"Is that wise sir the project is only 45% complete, If you were to use the suit it…"
I cut him off immediately, "Enough S.E.B.A.S! I already calculated all the possible scenarios and so far the only thing that could guarantee my people's and I's safety is Project: Iron.
So send it to me as soon as possible!"
"...Will do sir, I will send it to you now estimated time of arrival is 55 minutes."
As I was there contemplating I heard one of the men ask out loud, "Is that a luchador?"
I quickly got up from my seat and went to the back where my security detail was sitting. There he was. Motherfucking Bane. He was riding as a passenger on a customized ATV with his arms crossed just staring directly at the limousine. Panic rose inside of me once again. Now not only was there one supervillain after me but two.
If we were to get out of this predicament we needed to attack them now for even if we got to the airport, we would not be able to get on the plane safely.
I commanded my men pointing specifically at Bane, "Hurry up and shoot and focus your fire on the masked one!"
They all dropped their windows and were about to shoot, but by the time they did, it was already too late. Bane had stood up and activated his venom serum. The tubes connected to him were filled with neon-glowing green liquid that was soon injected into him. His body grew, and grew, and grew. Once the venom took full effect, he now stood there at about a monstrous ten feet tall two times wider, with limbs the size of logs, and with his veins pulsating with a slight green hew. He gave a guttural roar and lept into the air.
Most of the bullets grazed him, but the ones that did land we mere pincushions. Yes, he bled from the bullets, but they did not penetrate deep enough it seemed to cause any significant damage. Thankfully he missed the limo and landed behind it but the shockwave of him slamming into the ground, caused the rear of the limo to be lifted. As the rear landed I fell out of my seat landing hard on my back. I got up and went back to see if we were able to get away from him but from the dust two motorcycles popped out.
I assumed it was his men and asked for a weapon as well. One of the retired soldiers handed me a handgun and was about to explain how to use it when I cut him off and peeked my head out to shoot at them. I wasn't a soldier but I fired a few guns and weapons in my previous life to work my way around one. I lined up my sites at the motorcyclist's chest and fired once he was close enough. I missed the first two shots but the 3rd had hit him square in the chest and he fell off the bike tumbling to the ground.
One of my men dispatched the other biker. We might make it out of this. That is when one of the rear tires popped out of nowhere. The limo started skidding and swerving side to side. It did not make sense for these tires were better than even the president's limo. That is when I heard Mercy cry out, "I lost control, Lex! Brace yourselves!" That is when the limo flipped over. Something had struck me at my temple and everything went black.
