Fai & Isa: Love in the Fantasy World
Part 26 – The End That Becomes a Beginning
The sky above them was still spinning, golden and violet lights swirling chaotically. The ground beneath Fai and Isa's feet pulsed like a rapidly beating heart, as if this world itself was on the verge of something new.
The entity still stood before them. It was no longer just a shadow, yet it wasn't fully real either. Those glowing eyes watched them, as if waiting for a decision.
Fai clenched his fists. "What is it that you really want?"
A subtle tremor rippled through the air. The entity didn't immediately respond, but Isa felt something—not words, but emotions slipping into her mind.
Curiosity.
Hope.
And something deeper, something they couldn't fully comprehend yet.
"You have opened the door…" the entity's voice echoed, layered like a thousand whispers. "Now, are you ready to step through it?"
A door? Fai and Isa exchanged glances. Their world was no longer the same. Whatever they had done, it had changed everything.
Isa steadied herself, gazing at the entity with determination. "If you say this world is alive, does that mean we're just visitors here?"
The entity didn't answer directly, but the ground around them began to shift. Roots emerged from the earth, forming strange patterns around them. A faint light appeared at the center—a thin crack, as if the air itself was fracturing.
Fai could feel the pull from within it, something familiar yet unknown.
"The next step is not mine to decide…" the entity's voice grew fainter, its form beginning to dissolve, as if it were vanishing into the wind. "But remember… something born from emotions will always grow… even beyond your control."
Isa's chest tightened. "What does that mean?"
But the entity was already fading, its mist dispersing, leaving only the glowing fracture that was now slowly widening.
The wind howled. The light grew stronger.
Fai took a deep breath. "Isa… our world has just changed."
Isa looked at him, uncertainty in her eyes… but also excitement. "And I think… this is just the beginning."
With one step, they moved forward together—toward the light that would take them to something beyond their imagination.
