Immediately, Kagami lightly leaped up without a sound, disappearing into the vast night in an instant.

Returning home, Kagami went straight to his father's room, as Kagami's father was the current head of the Uchiha clan. And Kagami's grandfather was the Great Elder of the Uchiha clan. Kagami and Naori's status could be said to be extremely noble, but neither of them was arrogant because of this, instead constantly pushing themselves.

He gently knocked on the door twice, and a male voice came from inside the room, steady and magnetic: "Kagami, is that you? Come in."

Kagami responded and then opened the door. Inside the room, a middle-aged man was playing shogi with an old man. Although the old man was old, he didn't have many white hairs, and his body looked very strong. He kept arguing with the middle-aged man in front of him because he wanted to take back a move.

Seeing Kagami enter the room, he casually tossed the shogi piece aside, deciding not to continue the game. The middle-aged man was helpless at his father's behavior. After all, his father was just a playful old man. While he was still healthy, he should just indulge him.

This middle-aged man was naturally Kagami's father, Uchiha Teruya, and the old man was Uchiha Teruya's father, Uchiha Shintaro, who was also Kagami's grandfather.

Shintaro smiled and said: "Kagami, you've come in such a hurry, is there something important?"

Kagami didn't think too much and reported to his grandfather and father about the information he had just gathered. "Fourth Elder Uchiha Kai is secretly plotting to betray Konoha Village, with the action planned in three days. Furthermore, he has awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan."

Hearing this news, Shintaro and Teruya weren't too surprised at first. After all, Kagami had told them long ago that the Fourth Elder was secretly plotting. Today was just the day he was preparing to officially attack. Shintaro and Teruya didn't take Uchiha Kai lightly, though. After all, Uchiha Kai's talent was such that he only became an elder because there weren't many older people in the family. He was ranked by age and didn't have much strength.

However, since this old guy had awakened the Mangekyo, they had to deal with it cautiously. Awakening the Mangekyo could be said to be a qualitative change, more than doubling a person's strength!

Shintaro seemed a little worried, saying in a fearful tone: "This time it might be a little troublesome. I didn't expect that guy to awaken the Mangekyo."

Teruya then calmly asked Kagami about all the details he heard tonight, so that he could make a corresponding judgment. After Kagami recounted the conspiracy between Uchiha Kai and the other four elders without missing a word, Teruya frowned.

Five elders launching a rebellion, and the primary target was actually their own clan members! This would be a laughingstock if it got out. But Teruya noticed a detail, which was that the Fifth and Sixth Elders were coerced, agreeing half-heartedly!

These old guys didn't have that much conviction! What bullshit about following Uchiha Madara! Especially the Fifth and Sixth Elders, two old men who cherished their lives and didn't even dare to go to the battlefield! Such people were the easiest to buy off.

"Kagami, I'm giving you a mission."

"Father, please speak."

Teruya pondered for a while, then spoke out his plan: "The Fifth and Sixth Elders are most greedy for clan power, wealth, and status. Find a way to buy them off these next few days, as long as they don't take action."

Kagami seemed to have some doubts about this method, but before Kagami could speak, Teruya added: "We'll settle the score with them after it's over."

Only then did Kagami nod and accept the mission. "Father, Grandfather, should we tell sensei and Hokage-sama about this matter?"

Hearing this, Teruya immediately and sternly stopped Kagami. "Don't tell anyone! I know you respect Tobirama and Hokage-sama. But before this matter affects outsiders, this will always be an Uchiha family matter!"

At this time, Shintaro interjected, taking over Teruya's words: "If the news gets out, it will evolve into the Uchiha clan attempting to launch a rebellion. No one will care whether it's the Hawk faction or the Dove faction."

Uchiha Shintaro's eyes turned scarlet, and a six-pointed star shape slowly appeared in his pupils, surrounded by tomoe. This was clearly the Mangekyo Sharingan!

"The affairs of the Uchiha clan will be resolved by the Uchiha."

Shintaro exuded an aura of dominance, and his words were cold and without a trace of warmth. At this moment, where was the playful old man who wanted to take back his move!

"These old guys seem to have lived a few days of peace and quiet, and they don't even know their own weight anymore. They dared to provoke me even after awakening the Mangekyo when they're about to die."

Kagami and Teruya, father and son, felt a little breathless under this immense pressure. And Kagami, who joined Konoha Village with his clan a few years after birth, was seeing his grandfather's power for the first time. He always thought the old man only had three tomoe, but he didn't expect him to be hiding his strength.

"Father! Withdraw your power!" Hearing his son's words, Shintaro slowly stopped, and the Mangekyo Sharingan also closed.

"Really, there will always be war." Shintaro was also an old ninja who had experienced many battles.

During the Warring States period, various families occupied one side and fought each other to seize territory, and now that villages had been established, they still had to fight. What exactly can war bring to ninjas? It seemed that there was only endless pain.

Shintaro's wife, eldest son, and two younger brothers all died in the war. He deeply understood the pain of war, so after the Uchiha joined Konoha, he called on the clan to integrate into the village and enjoy this hard-won peace.

"Alright, Kagami, let your grandfather have some peace and quiet. You should go back and rest."

"Okay, then Father, Grandfather, I'll go back first." Afterward, Kagami turned and left the room, inadvertently letting out a sigh of relief. He always thought that his grandfather was like an old child, but he didn't expect him to be so strong.

Although Kagami really wanted to have the Mangekyo Sharingan, the price to pay was to suffer great mental pain. Perhaps losing his father, grandfather, or Naori would allow him to awaken the Mangekyo. If that were the case, he would rather not have the Mangekyo. Kagami believed that even if he relied on his own strength, he could still stand at the pinnacle of this ninja world.

Kagami's ideals weren't that lofty. He just wanted to protect his sister and family, and protect the people in the village within his ability. So Kagami might be more suitable to be a good brother or a good husband, and not suitable to be a Hokage.

"Brother, why are you back so late today?" Naori stood at the door waiting for a long time before seeing her brother come back, looking a little tired.

"I reported some things to Father and Grandfather, so I came back late." Naori took her brother's hand and walked into the house. "You must be exhausted, take a good rest."
