Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: Complete Humiliation

Chapter 18: Complete Humiliation

[Correct Answer: Option 1.]

As soon as the answer was revealed in the live broadcast, not only were the spectators dumbfounded, but even Tang Hao himself, the person in question, was completely stunned. "Impossible! How could it be Option 1?!" Tang Hao refused to believe it. His previously drunken and disheveled state instantly turned manic. The sudden eruption of his aura even caused cracks to appear in the surrounding buildings. "No way! There's no way it's Option 1! I won't believe it!"

Tang Yuehua, who had just been stripped of her innate domain, the Noble Ring, also refused to accept the answer. She completely disregarded her usual grace and elegance, shouting in disbelief. The correct answer was simply too much for her to accept. No matter what, she could have come to terms with the correct answer being either Option 2, 3, or 4. But for it to be the most absurd one? How could her second brother, the great Tang Hao, be the kind of scum who bullied the weak, only to be punished by their elders and have his limbs severed? Impossible. Absolutely impossible.

Emotionally, Tang Yuehua refused to believe it. Rationally, she rejected it even more.

[Detected strong doubts from the participant. Playing the full context now.]

Faced with Tang Yuehua's strong opposition, the live broadcast system responded immediately. However, its response instantly sent chills down her spine. She panicked and tried to stop it. "No! I believe it! Don't play the footage! Please, don't!!!" Her voice was filled with fear, breaking into a desperate plea.

But the live broadcast ignored her.

"It's over…" Tang Yuehua collapsed to the ground, her strength completely drained. She knew that once the footage was played, her brother Tang Hao's reputation would be utterly ruined.

Bullying the weak, only to be crippled in return? This was not just an embarrassing matter it was an outright disgrace.

If the footage didn't exist, even if people knew the truth, it wouldn't feel as real. They might discuss it, but the impact wouldn't be as devastating.

Now, however, once the video was played, the entire world would see Tang Hao's disgraceful actions. His name would become synonymous with humiliation, and even the reclusive Haotian Sect would share in the shame.

The damage would be irreversible.

Soon, the screen flickered and became clear.

The first scene was a wide angle view of a grand city wall with the words "Soto City" engraved at the top. The image then cut to an enormous structure over a hundred meters tall.

Many in the audience immediately recognized it.

[Wait, isn't this the Soto Great Spirit Arena?]

[What does the Haotian Douluo losing his limbs have to do with this place?]

[I don't get it…]

[Let's keep watching.]

The Soto Great Spirit Arena was oval shaped, towering at 120 meters. Inside, it had a main arena and twenty four sub arenas, capable of holding 60,000 spectators at once.

The scene changed again, now showing one of the battle stages.

A host was announcing the next match. "…Eighth match of the Spirit Elder 2v2 division: The Glazed Cat team versus the Three Five team. Let's welcome both teams to the stage!"

As the announcer's voice fell, two teams walked onto the platform.

On the left, there was a young man and a young woman.

The man had short black hair and an average looking face. The woman was cute and lively, her long scorpion tail braid swaying as she walked. She wore a pink dress. Their team name, Three Five, appeared in subtitles beside them.

On the right, two young women stepped forward.

The first girl was tall, her beauty undeniable. Her long, smooth black hair draped over her shoulders, and her fair skin accentuated her striking figure. But in stark contrast, her expression was cold, emitting an aura of distant indifference.

The second girl had long brown hair and wore an elegant and luxurious gown. Her fair, delicate face carried a faint, refined smile. Her demeanor was graceful and composed one glance was enough to tell she was raised in nobility.

Both teams looked young.

[Am I seeing this right? These are Spirit Elders? How are they so young?!]

[Maybe they just look young?]

[Even if they're geniuses, it's too much of a coincidence to have four of them on the same stage.]

[Let's keep watching; we'll find out soon enough.]

Meanwhile, in the real world, those who were directly involved weren't nearly as calm.

Especially a certain few…

"That's me and Xiao Wu!" Tang San, who had just finished forging hidden weapons, stared at the live broadcast, stunned. Seeing his future self standing on the stage with Xiao Wu, he was taken aback.

Then, he recalled the earlier question Haotian Douluo, Tang Hao.

At first, he thought it was just someone with the same name. But now that he had seen himself appear in the video, he was certain.

Could his father really be that Haotian Douluo, Tang Hao?!

"That's me and Third Brother?" Xiao Wu also stared at the screen, confused. She hadn't made the connection between Tang San and the legendary Haotian Douluo. If she had, she might have started thinking about what this meant for her a hundred thousand year old spirit beast living beside the son of a famous Spirit Master hunter.

"That's my future self?!" Zhu Zhuqing watched the video, her gaze sharpening. The future version of her seemed more mature. How far into the future was this video showing?

"And the girl next to me… Who is she? We seem to have a close relationship." Zhu Zhuqing glanced at Ning Rongrong, her future teammate, with curiosity.

"I'm in the video too?" Ning Rongrong was equally surprised. She hadn't expected to be one of the main characters. Intrigued, she continued watching.
