Chapter 3 - The Day The Light Died 2

I run after the smoke, not knowing what to expect, until eventually, the smoke stops and manifests into something like a mix of odd parts. "What are you?" I ask, and it replies, "A fallen entity being. As Krandar is an ethereal light, and Vieldar a bottomless darkness, I am a hindering smoke, or you can say I was," the creature chucked as it continued, "I used to serve under Krandar, until the battle between he and Vieldar, the 2 strongest entity beings had their battle.

Their powers were so great, that they demolished a third of the entity realm, turning 25% of the entity beings into fallen entities, including myself. However, I and a measly 0.5% of the fallen never held any grudge, as we knew that it was what needed to be done that was done and Vieldar and Krandar had made up. However, the same couldn't be said for the major 24.5% that had turned into fallen, as well as those whose brothers and sisters turned into fallen entities, and now they are coming for Earth, You call it Thera now.

They want to kill Krandar and Vieldar, and there is one thing they need to restore their powers. Can you guess, young man?" I ponder for a while and reply, "Lumiero?" The fallen entity of smoke replies, "Bingo. They are coming for the humans with the densest amounts of lumiero, and only I am the fallen entity that has reached Thera now. I would have liked to give this warning to Krandar and Vieldar, but I have not enough lumiero. I am looking for a host, to assist in the battle against the unholy fallen beings, so I will follow you to gauge if you are a good vessel for my power." Cautiously, I back off, and ask, "What do you want?". The fallen being transforms into a human-like body and says "Nothing but to assist this world in the battle against the fallen"

*Sigh*

"Fine, you can follow me around.. What is it? Why are you making a pained face" The smoke being replies "The fallen entities, their vestiges are here, and they're targeting humans with dense lumiero." The first thought that entered my mind once I heard that was . I ran to my house, as fast as I could, but the closer I got, the more chaotic it sounded until I reached the house. It was in shambles, and I could see the bodies of my siblings and parents displayed, and at the centre of that chaos, there was one man, if he could be called that, he gave me a condescending look with a creepy grin and said, "I am the first vestige of the morbid insect, Hao Jun, or more properly, The Head Harvester"

"Where is my family!! what did you do to them?" I questioned with raspy breaths. Hao Jun replied, "Oh, I claimed their heads." and proceeded to laugh like a maniac

"Oh, I claimed their heads"

The words hit me before I saw them

.But when I did
