Zaiyila pouted. "That won't do. If I finish your money for you, you'll have the chance to chase me away in the future," she remarked, looking at him.
Everett laughed. "You're worried about this?" he inquired, and Zaiyila nodded. "Then I assure my bride today that your wealth is inexhaustible. As for abandoning you, that's impossible. My life is in your hands." He kissed her forehead.
Zaiyila smiled, not thinking too much about what he said. "I heard you, but I can't waste the food you cooked. I'll warm it up," she insisted.
Everett furrowed his brows.
"Eve, you said you would always listen to me," Zaiyila reminded him, staring at him with an irresistibly cute expression.
Everett sighed. "It's not that I don't want to listen, it's just that before you insisted, I had already disposed of it," he explained.
Zaiyila's expression froze. "You... you..." She didn't know what to say anymore.
