Chapter 29: The Queen's Morning
"Huh?" Zaiyila scratched the back of her head, confused, before she finally understood. "I'm also not clear about it," she murmured, holding Everett's hand. "But I think I had a dream. It looked really..." she trailed off.
Everett looked at Zaiyila intently. "What was it about?" he inquired.
Zaiyila recounted everything to him—everything she had witnessed before losing consciousness. Everett, however, had already pieced the scene together just from Quinn's presence.
"Husband, it's not that I want to chase her away, but that dream makes me unwilling to live under the same roof with her," Zaiyila confessed, looking at Everett cutely.
Everett smiled. "Don't worry, she's already been dismissed," he assured.
"Huh?" A visible question mark seemed to appear on Zaiyila's face.
Everett found her expression adorable and couldn't help kissing her. "Anything my Queen doesn't like shouldn't exist," he murmured.
