"Nobara-san, Can I ask you a question?" Yoichi was curious about the goods and the current situation.
"Oh? Is it about the items you are carrying? It's part of the preparation for the incoming Fire Lantern Festival in the Capital City. I was one of the assigned people to bring these gifts back but the sheer amount of manpower and resources for the festival was massive. It was always like this..." Nobara explained the problem as Yoichi nodded in understanding.
"But isn't that foolish for a gorgeous lady like you to carry these heavy things all by yourself?" Yoichi tilted his head, curious and exasperated.
"Y—you are joking again, Yoichi-san! There's nothing I can do since the Emperor made the festival look grandiose and extravagant! Our clan was always has been one of the loyal pups of the emperor. I am grateful for the clan's resources but these... Haaahhh... If Maki-senpai is here..." Nobara felt nostalgic about her past, looking at the sky.
'She also knows Maki? Even their fate was completely tied here huh...'
"Don't worry! I will help you with your problems!" Yoichi nudged her side, smiling at her.
"Yoichi-san..." Nobara's eyes twinkled, grateful for his time and help.
"Nobara-san, what type of man do you like?" Yoichi throws an off-ball question, looking at her.
"Eeeehh?!... Wh—why did you ask such a private question?" Flustered, Nobara rubbed her chin.
He only stared at her intensely.
"Hmmm... I want a capable man with a height taller than me... A handsome man with a gentlemanly attitude and various resources in his arsenal..." Nobara counted on her fingers and instantly peeked at Yoichi's side profile.
"Looks like I have a chance..." Yoichi mumbled.
"Wh—what did you say, Yoichi-san?" Nobara blushed slightly, hearing Yoichi's whispers entirely.
'Yoichi-san... We have just encountered each other! What is he saying!' Nobara shook her head in the thoughts but the blush never left her face.
"What are you looking at?!" Nobara hid her reddened face from Yoichi's sight.
"No... I just think Nobara-san is adorable..." Yoichi smirked while walking away with the goods.
"Whe—where did you get all these cheesy lines huh? Are you a womanizer?!" Nobars glared at him, intensely looking for a subtle difference in his facial expression.
"But I am telling the truth!" Yoichi's fingers twitched but recovered on her inquisitive glare.
"Hahaha, you better be or else..." She slapped his arms lightly and looked at his handsome profile.
"Anyways, do you know any Onmyouji tricks?" Changing the topic, Yoichi maneuvered the conversation and appeared to be curious.
"What do you mean tricks? They are arts, okay? A-R-T-S! Arts!!! And yes, I know those arts but let's move these things first before I can show you the grand and miraculous arts! Okay?" Nobara put her hands on her hips and swayed slightly, glancing at his curious and excited expression.
Yoichi merely nodded.
After going back and forth, Yoichi managed to bring all the goods back to their transport carriers with the help of Nobara guiding him through Sentomaru Town.
Around noon.
"Nobara-san, shall we go and eat? I—I don't have any coins with me..." Yoichi could go and hunt some wild edible animals around but he decided not to do it.
"It's alright! As a token of appreciation, I will take you to an izakaya nearby for free!" Nobara proudly puffed out her ample chest in front of him.
"That's awesome! Thank you, Nobara-san!"
"I should be the one telling you that! By the way, why you don't carry some coins? Going through the town without money was a complete torture, no?" Nobara took her pouch out and constantly juggled the pouch in the air.
"No... Is just that I have a curse about it. Can I get a one bronze coin?" Yoichi wanted to demonstrate his curse in front of her.
"Huh? What kind of curse are you talking about? Although, there are wicked curses out there, a curse about coins?" Nobara took a bronze coin and gave it to him.
"Here, take a look." Yoichi took the bronze coin and the coin gradually vanished out of the air like ashes thrown out into the atmosphere.
"Eeeehhh?! Wh—what?! Are my eyes deceiving me?" Nobara's eyes blinked repeatedly and looked for possible tricks of him.
"One more time!" Nobara glared at him, worried about his current situation.
"Here." As soon as Yoichi took the coin, it was gone.
After two tries, Nobara didn't attempt any more disappearance of coins. After all, they are valuable.
"That's why I always work with some vegetables and meats as a way of income for me... If there's no job, I hunt wild animals in the forest for food." Yoichi sighed, seemingly distressed about his unfortunate outcome.
"Then, I will help you! I will do my best to solve that wicked curse of yours... And whenever you have any work, I could hold the coins for your sake!" Nobara felt determined with a blazing fire in her eyes.
"Nobara-san... Thank you! You are a lifesaver!" Yoichi hugged her tightly as the ample breasts made contact with his masculine body.
Nobara was shocked but smiled gently, looking at his cheeky smile with gratitude made her heart flutter.
"Yoichi-san... Can you please stop?" After recovering from her complex emotions, Nobara blushed at his display of gratitude right in front of the public.
"Hehehe... I am sorry! I was just excited. Come on, let's go and eat!" Yoichi grabbed her hand and intertwined his fingers while running across the bustling town with numerous people.
Nobara didn't like the feeling of getting dragged by him. Instead, the faint display of Yoichi's actions felt surreal as her heart throbbed even more.
Suddenly, he stopped running and glanced at Nobara.
"Where's the Izakaya?" Yoichi tilted his head, ignorant of the place.
"Hahahaha, come! I will show you." Now, the tables have been turned. Nobara chuckled loudly and dragged him with their hands interlocking each other.
Looks like the blazing heat of summer didn't faze the two from their cute display of camaraderie and a little bit of love.
Arriving in the Izakaya, Yoichi and Nobara ate with chuckles and laughter each time. The food wasn't that great and the overall building was good enough to run a business. He had a fun time talking with Nobara about hobbies, past, stories, and relationships. After adventuring for 3 months, Yoichi felt harmony but he was so picky when chatting with somebody closely. Especially if it's a familiar and beautiful girl in front of him.
"What are you gonna do after this, Nobara-san?" After eating, Yoichi was curious and wanted a little bit more time to know her even more.
"In 3 days, I am going with my assigned warriors to bring the resources back to the capital. Do you want to come?" Nobara also shares the same sentiments.
"Okay, Nobara-san. I will also want to experience the big festival developed by the Emperor!" He was curious and wanted to see their common enemy, a slippery and big fish in their chopping block.
"That's great! I will be reminding you of our leave. However, you must be obedient, isn't that okay?" She leaned and her hands were on her waist, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Okay, Nobara-san! In 3 days, we could meet here instead of finding me. For now, I will look for jobs around these parts. Thank you so much, Nobara-san!" Yoichi pulled her from his tight embrace once again.
"Th—then I will also leave, I still have many jobs required to be completed at once. See you again, Yoichi-san." Nobara's head uplifted and looked at his face, burning his handsome appearance in her mind as she left in his embrace with a reluctant expression.
"The seed of curiosity has been planted successfully. Now, I need to go around the outskirts of the town. What I need is food for dinner!" Yoichi glanced at Nobara's silhouette and left outside of the town.
Feeling his body sticking in his clothes, Yoichi managed to find a river beyond the town and bathed in the river, cool and fresh water cleaning his muscular figure felt so refreshing.
Afterward, he hunted a wild boar enough for his daily needs and cooked the boar with seasonings, delicious and chewy. For the leftovers, Yoichi smoked the remaining parts and buried the bones as a way of giving back to Mother Nature.
In his adventure, he developed the [X Marks The Spot], [Spirit Unbound], and [World's Perspective].
The [X Marks The Spot] was created by the base formula of the Flying Thunder God Technique. It needed a Chakra Signature of somebody to be marked by the ability. It was efficient in reconnaissance and a little bit of psychological damage against the enemies based on the fact that he used such power against the bandits.
[Spirit Unbound] was just like another wicked and inherent ability of the Immortals, Soul Wandering. Pretty basic but still useful on some occasions.
The big one was the [World's Perspective]. It was a reality-bending ability developed due to the satisfactory amount of spiritual energy inside him. It was designed just like a genjutsu but the people around him would never notice any difference. It was just like [Izanagi] with the Kurama Clan's Kekkai Genkai called Five Sense Control.
It was outrageously broken since it doesn't have any drawbacks like Izanagi and doesn't have any requirements just like Five Sense Control.
However, the obvious disadvantage was Yoichi's current realm could not support the weight of the world. His Chakra-Ki combination with the technique only lasted for 1 second, a second to sustain a technique doesn't sound good. He believed the technique had potential and a big role in his adventuring plan in the Shinobi World.
After eating his dinner, Yoichi went to sleep and rest for the day. A huge improvement, especially finding the last exodia in the deck.
