Chapter 1 - The Birth Of An Anomaly

Chapter 1:

A Rift in Reality

The Douluo Plane had always followed a steady, unbreakable cycle of fate. The divine and mortal realms coexisted, bound by laws established since time immemorial. However, on this fateful day, those laws were bent—no, rewritten—as space trembled unnaturally.

It began as a mere fluctuation in the air, unnoticed by ordinary beings. But to those with keen senses—be it gods in the Divine Realm, spirit beasts slumbering in the depths of the forests, or the most powerful human experts—it was an event that could not be ignored.

A tear, invisible to the naked eye, formed within a dense, ancient forest under Spirit Hall's control. The disturbance spread like ripples in a still pond, affecting everything in its radius. Spirit beasts stirred, some cowering in fear while others howled in agitation. The skies darkened briefly, not from clouds, but from a mysterious force pressing upon the heavens.

And then, in the very heart of this anomaly—a baby appeared.

Not born. Not delivered by mortal hands. He simply was.

A newborn, lying peacefully amidst the soft grass, untouched by dirt or impurity. His hair, silken and white as fresh snow, caught the dim light filtering through the canopy. His tiny chest rose and fell steadily, his delicate features unmarked by the pain or confusion typical of an infant's first moments.

Yet, what was truly terrifying was that the world itself reacted to his presence.

A Forest in Turmoil

The nearest spirit beasts, driven by instinctual fear or territorial aggression, rushed toward the child. A thousand-year-old Crimson-Eyed Wolf, sensing an anomaly, lunged forward with fangs bared.

But the moment it came close—

Bang!

It was flung backward as if an invisible wall had sent it flying. Its massive body crashed into a tree, bones shattering from the force. A moment later, it scrambled to its feet, whimpering, its blood-red eyes filled with terror.

The other beasts hesitated, but soon, a five-thousand-year-old Black-Tail Python slithered forward, its dark scales shimmering with venomous energy. It coiled its body, preparing to strike.

Yet, the moment it tried to move forward—

Its body froze mid-motion.

Every muscle in its being refused to advance. A foreign, unseen force denied its very movement.

And then, something even stranger happened.

It wasn't that the beasts were repelled by an external attack. There was no energy fluctuation, no barrier, no aura of intimidation.

They simply could not move forward.

It was as if the very concept of reaching the child had been erased.

Fear spread among the spirit beasts. Even those with ten-thousand-year-old cultivation who had been watching from the shadows silently retreated.

Qian Daoliu's Discovery

Far above, within the vast halls of Spirit Hall, a man opened his golden eyes.

Qian Daoliu, the Grand Worshipper, a Limit Douluo standing at the peak of humanity, had felt it. A disturbance—no, something far more significant. His connection to the Angelic God's divine power trembled, as if sensing the arrival of something that defied fate.

Without hesitation, his figure flickered and vanished.

The next moment, he appeared in the skies above the forest, standing high above the earth. His sharp eyes scanned the area, immediately pinpointing the source of the anomaly.

There, lying peacefully amidst the grass, was a baby.

A mortal might dismiss the sight as insignificant. But Qian Daoliu knew better.

For one, the space around the child was wrong.

It was subtle, yet undeniable. Even without releasing his aura, he could tell that the very laws of nature refused to touch the baby.

'A fluctuation in reality itself...'

He descended slowly, ensuring he did not radiate any hostility. Yet, when he took a step forward, something stopped him.

It wasn't a spirit barrier. It wasn't a divine restriction.

It was something beyond his understanding.

His hands, accustomed to wielding power over life and death, felt resistance. Not an attack, but a denial. It was as if the world itself did not allow him to touch the child.

Qian Daoliu narrowed his eyes. He was a man who had long surpassed fear. Even against gods, he would stand unshaken.

Yet, at this moment—he felt unease.

"Interesting…" he muttered.

Deciding to test his approach, he spoke, his voice laced with authority yet devoid of threat.

"I mean you no harm."

The air shifted. The resistance weakened—not gone, but it acknowledged his words.

Slowly, carefully, he reached forward again. This time, his fingers touched the child's body.

A moment of silence passed.

Then, the baby opened his eyes.

Eyes That Reflected Infinity

Qian Daoliu was not easily impressed.

But the instant he saw those cerulean blue eyes, he felt something stir within him.

It was not admiration.

It was shock.

Those eyes… they were unlike anything in this world.

Not the sharp golden of the Angelic God. Not the deep abyss of the Rakshasa.

They were limitless.

For a fleeting moment, Qian Daoliu felt something incomprehensible. A depth beyond his reach. As if he were staring into an endless chasm—one that neither gods nor mortals could grasp.

The feeling passed in an instant.

But it was enough to confirm what he had already known.

This child was not ordinary.

Perhaps he was not even human.

Yet, as he held the boy in his arms, Qian Daoliu smirked slightly.

"Hah." He let out a rare chuckle. "Fate must be laughing at me right now."

Because he knew.

This was the beginning of something that would shake the entire world.

And so, he made a decision.

He would raise this boy. He would nurture him, watch over him, and see what chaos he would bring.

For the first time in years, Qian Daoliu felt anticipation.

The Douluo Plane Trembles

While the world remained oblivious to this moment, the ripples of change had already begun.

—In the depths of the Star Dou Great Forest, ancient beasts stirred in restless unease. The Titan Giant Ape and Sky Blue Bull Python felt a new predator had emerged—one even they could not understand.

—Across the continent, hidden Evil Soul Masters felt a shift in the darkness. Their rituals were disrupted, their arts trembling as if something had invaded their domain.

—Even in the distant oceans, where the remnants of the Sea God's divine will slumbered, a faint echo trembled.

A new variable had entered the world.

And the Douluo Plane would never be the same again.
