Chapter 13 - Episode 13: Oracle vision

### ** sinner **

** [scene: destroyed towers - entrance hall] **

(When Elara, Lucian and Seraphine pass through the glowing door, the air moves. The heat of the forest disappears, replaced by a frightening cold.

** Lucian: ** (Low Voice) "This place is not right."

** serraphine: ** (grinning) "Oh, but it's*beautifully*wrong."

** Elara: ** (determined) "Stay close. We don't know what kind of magic it persists here."

*(Soft laughter is reflected in space. Oracle gets off the shadows forward, her white eyes shining in a fat light.)*

** Oracle: ** (calmly) "You are afraid of what you don't understand."

** Lucian: ** (clenched teeth) "We are afraid of what can*kill us."

** Oracle: ** (smiles slightly) "Wise. But fear does not give you answers."

** Elara: ** (firm) "Then give me the truth."

*(Oracle tilts the heads and follows Ela with an unreadable expression.)*

** Oracle: ** "Are you ready for his weight, child Forsaken?"

** Elara: ** (quietly) "I have to be."

*(Oracle progresses forward, raises a wrinkled hand. Runes on the walls shine more clearly and suddenly move around. Air Warps and pictures begin to form in the dark.)*

** [Scene: Vision - Throne Room of the Past] **

*(Stands in a large throne room, but it's not the one that Ela remembers from her childhood. This one is twisted - suspended banners now hang in ruins and a massive throne at the end of the hall is shrouded in the shade.

*(King of Valen.)

*(Elara inhales sharply. It looks like he remembers - shoots, with piercing blue eyes that mirrors her own. But there is something*wrong about him.

** Valen: ** (commanding) "You promised me too much and I held my end of the contract."

*(The second character appears from the darkness. A woman wrapped in flowing black rocks, her face hidden under the veil. The same woman from Elar's nightmares.)*

** Shadow Woman: ** (Silky) "The strength is worth my king. You knew it."

** Valen: ** (anger flashes) "I gave everything. My kingdom. My soul. Where is the rest of what has been promised?"

** Shadow Woman: ** (smiling) "You are impatient. The cycle must be complete."

*(The air around them bursts with dark energy. Elara in horror watches how the shadows begin to consume the body of her father and sink into his skin. The teeth are canceled, the hands clenched.)*)*)

** Valen: ** (growl) "What… is it?"

** Shadow Woman: ** (Whispering) "Beginning".

*(The scene is forcibly shifting. The throne room disappears, replaced by the battlefield. The fire and death surround them. King Valen stands on Wednesday, not fully human.

*(Army*Sinner*.)*

** Elara: ** (Whispering) "No…"

*(The vision blinks again. This time it is the castle. Elara sees himself as a child and hides behind the column when the soldiers attack the halls. The voice of her father is reflected.)*

** valen: ** (urgent) "Take her! Hide her from*find her!"

*(Woman - Elarina Nursemaid - grabs a young princess and pulls her away as the door opened. Knights of the royal guard charge in, their weapons attracted. Valen turns to them, his face twisted in fury when dark

** Valen: ** (snirling) "Do you think you can stop me?"

*(The knight progresses forward - his silver armor shines even in the fat light. Elar's breath captures. Man ... looks like Lucian.)*

** Lord Cyrus (Lucian's predecessor): ** (coldly) "You are no longer our king."

*(Vision breaks like glass.)*

---

** [scene: destroyed towers - present] **

*(Elara stumbles back, gasping. Spire is back around them, the vision disappeared, but its weight persists in the air.)*

** Lucian: ** (tense) "What was it*hell*?"

** serraphine: ** (slow) "It was… History."

** Elara: ** (shaking) "My father… he*was*sinner.*He made*agreement."

** Oracle: ** (nod) "And when he lost control, the kingdom turned against him. His own people, his own knights. Even his bloodline."

*(Elara turns to Lucian and realizes in her eyes.)*

** Elara: ** (Whispering) "Your predecessor… was the one who betrayed him."

*(Lucian's expression darkens.)*

** Lucian: ** (flat) "It wasn't a betrayal. It was justice."

** seraphine: ** (amused) "Oh, it just still improves."

** Elara: ** (frustrated) "My father is not dead, right?"

** Oracle: ** (quietly) "No."

*(Silence.)*

** Lucian: ** (clenched teeth) "Where is it?"

** Oracle: ** (carefully follows Elar) "Awaits*."

** Elara: ** (tense) "for what?"

*(Oracle is coming, her white eyes boring into Elar's soul.)*

** Oracle: ** (Whispering) "For*You*."

*(Cold shivers runs down on Elar's spine. Words settle over it like a curse.)*

** Lucian: ** (Low Voice) "We have to leave.*Now.*"

** serraphine: ** (grinning) "Oh, but we just got*here*."

** Oracle: ** (calmly) "You can't overtake fate."

** Elara: ** (determined) "Follow me."

*(Without another word, it turns towards the east, her mind race.

** serraphine: ** (quietly) "You always loved theater, old woman."

** Oracle: ** (smiles slightly) "You always enjoyed chaos."

** seraphine: ** (smile) "Truth".

*(She blinks and follows the others into the night and left the fortune tellers in the shade.)*
