Chapter 1 - Wait...I am married.

It was a glorious morning, the sun shining brightly in the clear blue sky. Ash Ketchum, the newly crowned Pokémon World Champion, strolled along a familiar path, a wide grin plastered across his face. On his shoulder, his best buddy and loyal companion, Pikachu, sat comfortably, its electric cheeks sparking with excitement.

Their journey to become the very best, like no one ever was, had just taken a monumental leap. Ash had finally achieved his lifelong dream, yet a new horizon beckoned. The vast and unexplored region of Paldea was their intended destination, a land filled with new Pokémon and thrilling challenges. Or so they thought.

"Hey Pikachu, aren't you pumped for our next big adventure?" Ash asked, his voice brimming with enthusiasm as he looked up at his electric mouse.

"Pika pi! Pika!" Pikachu chirped back, nodding its head vigorously and letting out a little spark of electricity in agreement.

The bond between trainer and Pokémon was as strong as ever, their shared excitement palpable. Little did they know that high above them, beyond the fluffy white clouds, a cosmic squabble was unfolding between two legendary beings.

These behemoths were none other than Palkia, the Pokémon god of Space, and Dialga, the Pokémon god of Time. Their current conflict, however, was far from legendary in its cause. Incredibly, they were locked in a fierce battle over something quite trivial.

...a stolen limited-edition parfait.

This particular parfait was an incredibly rare delicacy, crafted with ingredients so scarce that only two servings could ever be made. Both Palkia and Dialga had spent what felt like an eternity navigating the cosmic marketplace, even resorting to a bit of underhanded dealing, to finally acquire this divine dessert. They had then carefully stored their precious parfaits in their respective dimensional refrigerators.

But the following morning brought disappointment. Both legendary Pokémon discovered nothing but empty parfait glasses. Suspicion immediately fell upon the other.

"That blasted Palkia must have snuck into my dimension!" Dialga fumed, his temporal aura flickering with annoyance.

"There's no doubt about it, that sneaky Dialga stole my parfait!" Palkia retorted in his mind, his spatial energy crackling with indignation.

And so, the two powerful beings clashed, their anger fueled by the loss of a sugary treat.

Unbeknownst to them, the real culprit was lurking in the shadows of the Distortion World. Giratina, the Renegade Pokémon, let out a satisfied burp.

"Hmm, that was quite a delightful snack. I really should thank my brothers for their… contribution… sometime," Giratina mused to himself as he lazily drifted through his distorted realm.

He continued his leisurely float, completely indifferent to the cataclysmic battle raging in the world above. As long as their spat didn't spill over into his domain, he couldn't care less. With a yawn, he headed towards his favorite resting spot within the twisted dimensions.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Palkia and Dialga were locked in a furious exchange.

"Palkia, you despicable damn fiend! I swear I'll obliterate you for stealing my parfait!" Dialga roared, his voice echoing through the fabric of reality.

"Don't you dare accuse me, you temporal tyrant fucker! You're the one who pilfered my divine dessert! I'll shrink you down to the size of an atom!" Palkia bellowed back, equally enraged.

Palkia unleashed a devastating Hyper Beam, a concentrated blast of pure energy. Dialga countered with a powerful Dragon Breath, a swirling vortex of draconic power.

Neither legendary Pokémon was willing to back down. Their attacks, fueled by their immense power, crackled with the very essence of space and time. They poured their fury into each blast, intending to utterly annihilate their opponent.

But as the two colossal attacks collided, the unthinkable happened. The raw power of space and time interacting in such a violent manner resulted in a catastrophic explosion. The very fabric of the surrounding space-time began to warp and collapse.

The destructive force of the blast erased everything within its radius, leaving behind a void where reality had once been. And caught in the middle of this cosmic fallout were the unsuspecting Ash and Pikachu.

The sudden disappearance of the "Son of Fate" sent ripples of disruption throughout the world. The delicate balance of the universe was thrown into disarray. The shockwave of the event even reached the slumbering "Lord of All," causing the legendary Pokémon to stir from its age-long rest.

...

Ash groaned, his eyelids fluttering open. He tried to push himself up, but his hands slipped on a soft surface, and he tumbled out of bed with a surprised yelp.

"Ouch… ow, that hurts… Wait, where am I?"

He sat up, rubbing his head, and looked around the room. It was undeniably his bedroom, but… different. It was larger than he remembered, and there were a few distinctly feminine items scattered about. A frilly pink cushion lay on a nearby chair, and a collection of colorful ribbons adorned a small shelf.

"Why am I here? If I remember correctly, Pikachu and I were just starting our new adventure." Confusion clouded Ash's face. He scratched his chin thoughtfully, his eyes then landing on a dressing table he had never seen before. It was an ornate piece of furniture, far more elaborate and, again, decidedly more feminine than anything he would ever own.

But it was his reflection in the mirror that truly made his eyes widen in disbelief. The person staring back at him looked familiar, yet subtly altered. He seemed a bit shorter, his features slightly sharper, and… dare he say it… more handsome.

"What is happening? And where is Pikachu?" Ash mumbled to himself, utterly bewildered and feeling a growing sense of unease.

Just as he was trying to piece together the strange circumstances, the door to his room creaked open, revealing a sight that only added to his confusion.

Standing in the doorway was his childhood friend, Leaf Green.

"Oh, so you're already awake, Ash?" she said, a slight pout on her lips. "Hmph, and here I was planning on playing a little prank on you. Tch, talk about ruining my fun." She clicked her tongue playfully.

"Green, what are you doing here?" Ash asked, his confusion deepening. He couldn't understand why his childhood friend, with whom he had lost contact years ago, would be in his room, a room that felt both familiar and foreign.

"What kind of question is that, silly? Of course, it's because I live here," she replied, her tone laced with confusion as she tried to decipher the bewildered expression on his face.

"Live here?" Ash mumbled, still trying to process the information.

Seeing his utterly lost expression, Green's playful demeanor shifted to concern. She stepped closer and gently placed her hand on his forehead, checking his temperature with her own.

"You don't seem to have a fever, but maybe staying up so late watching those Pokémon battles finally caught up to you. Just to be safe, do you want me to call a doctor?" she asked, her voice soft and worried.

"No! No need! And you're too close!" Ash blurted out, a blush creeping up his cheeks at the sudden proximity. Green giggled at his reaction.

"Why are you laughing?" Ash asked, feeling even more flustered by her amusement, which sounded somewhat mocking to his ears.

"Ah, sorry," Green said, a playful smirk dancing on her lips. "I just find it funny that you're blushing over something like this. After all," she continued, leaning in slightly, "we are married."

Ash's brain seemed to short-circuit. He stammered, his eyes wide with disbelief. "Ma… Married? We… us? Like… really?"

"Ash, are you really alright? Wait, I'll call a doctor," Green's worry intensified, and she reached for her phone.

Panic surged through Ash. "No, wait! I'm alright! Just slightly dizzy from staying up late," he quickly interjected, stopping her.

"Hmm, you better not be lying," she said, giving him a pointed look. "After all, I don't want to become a widow at the tender age of four, you know?" She glared at him playfully before turning to leave. She paused at the door and added, "Oh, I almost forgot! Breakfast is ready, Ash. Come downstairs quickly."

And with that, she was gone, leaving Ash alone in the room, his mind reeling with a torrent of unanswered questions.

"So… apparently I'm married, huh?" He muttered, a completely lost expression on his face as he tried to make sense of his bizarre new reality.
