Chapter 0: "Tragedy that Changes Me Forever"

It was the same day, working and reorganizing all the documents to their respective archive and box.
I'm Lee Han Min and I was just got accepted into working at an secret organization right after I graduated from university. It's kinda strange such an secret organization to recruit someone like me who really doesn't have any talent or have a high IQ. I got accepted and am starting off as a Junior Researcher. My task is just to organize the documents and put it into the archives, it's a job everyone wants, simple and not too much training is required but sometimes I was taken to an room where we watch a human subject approach an entity only to die because he blinks, my senior tell me that's SCP 173, the statue and the human subject that was told to enter the room was a Class D, someone who was given a chance to not get executed but these kinds of job are too dangerous. If I witnessed a crime, I'd probably accept executions rather than working here only to be treated like some kind of test subjects, having no rights to protest or argue. Its kinda lucky how I became a researcher.
I'm not working alone here, my brother Sebastian Arthur also got recruited to work here as a Guard, he's just graduated from the Marines School and immediately work here hence why sometimes I see him carrying Full Assault gear but I don't really mind it because that's his job to force those Class D to work or they will try to escape.
Just as I'm organizing these archives and put it into the box, the Announcement speakers speaks:
"Attention all foundations personnel, you're all called to the canteen, the Site Director wants to announce some things, come immediately to the canteen."
My colleagues immediately cheers because they think it's probably means the site directors will raise their salary, hence because that's something they really wanted from the summer years ago.
I go to the canteen and see that the canteen was very crowded by guards and researchers, just when I arrived at the canteen, someone immediately grabbed me from behind and gave me a soft pat on the shoulder.
"Isn't this my cute little brother Han Min." I knew immediately from the tone and the voice It's my brother Arthur
"Arthur stopped it, didn't we agree to not do something like this in public?"
"Oh come on, it's just this time I promised but tell me Han Min what do you think the Site Director is gonna announce?"
That's right when Arthur asks me what the Site Director is gonna announce immediately questions myself, the Site Director or formally called as Director Richard was a cold and greedy person. It's not something that will happen for such a person like him to announce something like this.
"I don't know, the Site Director never made any announcements and told us to gather here, what do you think he will announce to Arthur?"
Arthur looking away from me with a suspicious gaze immediately looks back at me when I question him.
"I'm not sure, for someone cold and never showing if he cares about his workers was something I never expected."
I chuckle at Arthur and look at him
"Do you think there's any divine intervention's gonna happen and make the Director change his mind?" Arthur speak this to me making me quite shocked but chuckle.
I reply this to Arthur who is an agnostic person who didn't really believe in God hence why he quit from something like that but I don't really mind it because both I and Arthur are not blood related because I get adopted by Arthur's parents when they are on.
"Oh, is Arthur converted to a religion? What religions do you choose?"
Arthur immediately smacked my head
"I didn't you shit, and enough of your jokes, it's not funny."
"Ouch, okay, okay I'm just kidding."
We keep talking until someone who is not wearing the same uniform as us enters the canteen, Wearing a Beret UN uniform, A General or Brigadier General.
Arthur immediately shows Hatred to the guy after he entered, but I never knew who those people are.
"Arthur, who are they?"
Arthur didn't respond but instead took me into the bathroom using the crowd to cover their track.
Inside the bathroom, Arthur looks at me and speaks
"Stay inside this bathroom, never leave. Understood?"
I only nod when he told me this, then Arthur left me inside the bathroom while he went outside.
Meanwhile outside, the UN general stands up at the podium
"Greetings, SCP Foundations Personnel, I'm Brigadier General Jason Hector, hereby declare and dissolve SCP Foundations. Any continuations on researches will be illegal and considered as an act of terrorism, whoever against it, will be neutralized and terminated."
All SCP foundations personnel shock when they hear it, some against it while some stare in disbelief.
"Who do you think you are!? YOU ARE NOT THE SITE DIRECTOR NOR ADMINISTRATOR!?" an SCP Foundations Guard Captain Shout loudly to the General in a hateful tone.
"Me? THE GOC has more power then you think, better say goodbye for your life. If you survive well good luck, we may meet in hell afterwards." After the General said it, more then 10 GOC Juggernaut armed with M249 appears from behind and start shooting to all SCP Foundations Personnel
The guards cannot counter attack because the crowd and the scientists that try to run away only blocks their own bullets, resulting in friendly fire. The Juggernauta keep firing and killing all personnel, leaving no one alive.
Lee Han Min hearing the gunfight is scared inside the bathroom, he wanted to take a peek but he's scared.
A few minutes later, after the gunfight ceased, Lee Han Min braces himself and take a peek, he saw all his colleague die, the floor was covered with blood, no one survived and the GOC General already left with his subordinates.
I braced myself and leave the bathroom and I was surrounded by hundreds or even thousands of dead body, fresh, their face in fear and terror, never expecting something like this happening. Vomiting because seeing the dead body, I stare in disbelief and try find Arthur on each dead body only found nothing, my clothes covered in blood and I feel sick seeing the sight of dead body, I can hear them screaming to me.
"Why are you still alive?! You should have joined us as dead bodies!"
I only stare in shock and scared, I don't want this, I was saved by Arthur, if I wasn't saved by Arthur, I might have died here leaving the canteen I would walk carefully.
On my way I see UN soldiers killing every SCP Foundations personnel without mercy, hiding like cowards I am for waiting for rescue or something that come to help me.
Hours just pass like nothing, I stare on the floor, waiting for someone to rescue me while praying to Jesus Christ for a miracle.
Someone's approaching me, I look up only to find myself aimed at Desert Eagle from a GOC Officer. The officer stares at me with cold face and prepares to execute me in place. I was scared, I don't wanna die, I want to stay alive. Iust before the Officer could shoot me, he get shot in the head by someone, the blood splashed into my face and clothes. I was shocked but an snknown soldier approach me and crouch infront of me.
"You must be Lee han Min?, I've come to rescue you." The unknown soldiers speak to me and I only nod in acceptance.
The soldier proceed to carry me and take me outside where I see other soldiers wearing the same uniform, more than 20 soldiers gathering with 3 humvees.
An medic approaches me and take me into the humvee treating my wounds and my early stages of PTSD. Trembling, and discomfort, I only stare blankly when the medic tends my wounds on my hands that was caused by an sharp object, probably a knife.
The medic tried to calm me down with a soft tone.
"It's okay, it's okay just take a deep breath."
Outside the humvee, the soldier speaks with his captain
"Sir, we can only found 1 survivor."
The captain shakes his head and sighs
"I get it, no one survive this massacre and genocide, call all medical units available from the base, we will properly bury the dead bodies and take the survivor to our base, it looks like he's already experienced early stages of PTSD." After the Captain orders his subordinates, the soldier salute and enter the humvee.
The humvee engine revving meaning I was taken away by someone who I don't know. The medic keeps calming me down and the humvee starts moving to somewhere else. I don't know where they've taken me and what's my fate now?.
A few Hours later, I woke up on a bed, somewhere else, surrounded by doctor and nurse who maintains the medical equipment on the other room. When they notice I woke up, they immediately inform their supervisor and a few minutes later, someone enter my room, wearing an Field Marshall Uniform, grey beret and medals, lots of medals.
The one who entered approached me and took a seat beside me.
"So, how do you feel?"
I'm still confused about what's going on, I look around the room, tt's so unfamiliar, this is not the Foundations Facility, the people here are wearing different uniforms, I look at the guy beside me with questions.
"Where am I? and who are you people? You are not a Foundations personnel."
The guy just chuckled and replied
"Don't worry, we are not bad people, stay calm, understand?"
Looking at him, I ask questions to the Field Marshall
"Who are you supposed to be? You are not a Foundations personnel"
The Field Marshall then introduced himself to me
"Ah, my apologies, I should introduce myself when we first meet isn't it?"
The Field Marshall bow down to me respectfully
"I'm the Reincarnnator, the leader of Chaos Insurgency. I know you are rather shocked when you heard this but we don't want to hurt you."
When the Field Marshall stands up again after bow down to me, he only saw my face scared but it makes sense for every foundations personnel, because the Chaos Insurgency is a rogue soldier who killed all foundations personnel in the past.
The FM looks at me and chuckle.
"Don't worry, we're not gonna hurt you Lee Han Min, we've already changed. We are not as bad people as people have been always saying from those senior researchers in the foundations."
The FM approached me and patted my shoulder.
"You must be shocked, when seeing the incident occurs? It's fine when that happens, you can never expect what's gonna happen afterwards, that's how the world is going, walking on a fragile path."
The FM walks to the door and looks at me
"I will explain everything when your condition is much better, but for now, take a rest."
The FM left the room and spoke with the doctor and nurse in another room, staring at the roof, I can only sigh heavily, what just happened to my days, no that's not the question, what's gonna happen to me afterwards?
